Titans/Colts and Redskins and Vikings fighting for the last spot god damn this next weekend is going to rock

I was the 777th post in this thread how awesome am I

So the Bucs and Giants will play in the first round. I was really excited for the Bucs going into the playoffs but then they go and lose a game. As for the Giants i pretty much had given up and said screw it but they really really impressed me this week, and now im worried that the Bucs won't get a shot at Dallas. Im pretty sure Seattle can take any wildcard and Green Bay will end up playing them on the Frozen Tundra, then hopefully The g-men or Bucs will come up to play us so that i can go to the game. If we go to dallas, I won't be totaly worried beause i just have the feeling this year. Since day one baby. Hell maybe romo will crack, btw when was the last time that damned team actually won one of those games? Hopefully skins will beat the cowboys next week just for good measure, etc. And yeah im actually 11, not 12. Go Packets Go.

yeah the final spot for the NFC Wildcard makes next week interesting. I just dont see the Cowboys winning next week especially how close their last game was because they should be resting. If the Cowboys dont rest Im gonna be hella pissed off. Although we get to see Glenn play for the first time supposivly so that makes the game interesting, other than the fact the Skins are hot right now and fighting for a playoff spot.

I am a big proponent of playing your last game to win like normal, and then pulling players if your lead gets large enough, but you ruin your team unity and momentum not playing hard every time out.

A few weeks ago I was thinking the Browns could win their division and now they might not even make the playoffs...

I hope the Vikings make it over the Redskins in the NFC

hahahaha gb got banned because of he's 11

that explains a lot

i'd say that was my intention but i'd be lying

...you guys are welcome?

I think the Vikings are more likely to get in because they're playing Denver and Washington is playing Dallas, but I'd rather see the Redskins get in since they have been the better team over the past few weeks. The Vikings's offense is primarily based on its running game, and that has been consistently stuffed over the past few games, and its passing game is pretty bad since Tarvaris Jackson is still a developing quarterback who happens to cause a lot of costly turnovers.

As for the AFC, it's between the Titans and the Browns, and the Browns have been far more consistent during the season. Tennessee definitely is not helped by the fact that they have lost every game that Albert Haynesworth has not played in; when your team has to rely so much on one person that you can't win without them, then there is a problem.

btw, the NFL announced that the Pats/Giants game will be on both Fox and CBS. Awesome.

Well, half of me wants to see the Patriots have a perfect regular season, and half wants to see the Giants ruin the plans. I just don't want Bill Belichick to get another ring.

hi5 Steeler

Redskins will be playing a Dallas team that won't (or shouldn't) be using most of its starters for more than a half. They definitely need to rest up for the playoffs, especially w/ the number of injuries they have atm.

Vikings and Broncos should be a good game but Denver has been sucking atm so I see Vikings winning this.

Basically, I see the Skins getting in due to the fact that Cowboys should not care about winning this close to playoffs, but more about resting everyone and making sure everyone is healthy.

The Browns do not deserve a playoff spot with how pitifully they have played against a pitiful schedule. Titans are one blown game against a good team away from already having clinched :(

I think that the browns deserve a berth, but at the same time think that the titans are the better team. It's almost sad that the brown's might not get in. The AFC north is a total joke, the Steelers are as unlegit as they get. I'll give them statistical credit, and thats about it. The browns really did blow there only shot at success agaisnt really a horrible football club in the bengals. Redskins should be able to beat the cowboys not just because they dont care, but they sort of sneaked past them last time. Not to mention they are away this time, and the redskins have totaly evolved. I think GB will end up with the same record as the cowboys, but who know's look at last week agaisnt da bears. The lions will bring everything they have to beat the Packers though. Speaking of Pack\boys im really not completely sold on who is the better team. The Pack didn't play great ball against two teams, da bears and the cowboys. Now besides stating the obvious facts like that, i think that this Green Bay football club can really learn from those games. It's the youngest team in the NFL and they never played that big game, and certainly not in the cold (that bad) or the wind. Perhaps next time they will play better. The boys are a balanced football team, and until last week i still felt as if GB was the Class of the NFC. But after seeing the boys run the ball as they did on saturday, I think they have the edge, not to mention homefield. It was mroeso the boys running than the Packers losing, if they both had lost, or even if the cowboys had very little rush yards, the gap would be much closer, if that is even possible. As for the AFC the Colts should be able to beat the pats, if the Jags don't get to them first. Idk why but i just don't see NE running the table. something's gotta give, or maybe im just in denial.

What? im not that Packers fan lol. what Packers fan in there right mind would say that the boys are a better team than the cowboys? i mean i've been lurking on this thread for about a week and i respect the Packers, but no one should act like that jackass did. I mean he said the Packers were still better than the boys after that game and he just had no class

hehehe

anyways, i wouldn't love anything more than seeing the patriots lose on three channels but...i can't help but think that

1. for the first game simulcast since super bowl 1, this game doesn't mean fucking jack

2. i get the feeling that the giants will sit a lot of their guys and the pats will just blow the giants out...which just...ugh

i know i'm in the minority but i'm not a fan of this game being simulcast. i feel like it'll be a big letdown for all involved

well except the patriots fans that like to see blowouts

@_@;;

"man, i just want you to know i love you dog." did he send anyone else that pm or just me? lol

I want the Patriots to finish 16-0 and to lose to the Cowboys in the Super Bowl!

Belichick will actually pull his starters in this game, but not before Brady hits two of his patented MossBombs so they can both break the records.

I think he will only pull his starters when they have scored enough touchdowns to put the game firmly out of the Giants' reach. However, Belichick would certainly put Brady back in if the Giants get too close.
