Okay, got a full team that's super jank but is starting to scratch the surface of what teambuilding will be like with a full six mons.
@ Choice Scarf
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Hydro Pump
- U-turn
Inheriting Keldeo's statline leaves us with a very powerful speed control option that can aggressively take back momentum with U-turn.
@ Soft Sand
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Megahorn
Dragapult's bulk is juuust good enough to let Rhyperior eat some decently powered hits backed by Solid Rock and let it get a Swords Dance out and start dealing damage or even cleaning a weakened team.
@ Focus Sash
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature
- Trick Room
- Head Smash
- Gunk Shot
- Knock Off
GameFreak wanted to GameFreak when they gave Nihilego its moves, but now it can properly abuse moves with nuclear power like STAB Head Smash and Gunk Shot. Rhyperior has slightly more than double Nihilego's physical bulk and slightly more than half its special bulk, but at least it offers it a small HP boost to help mitigate Head Smash recoil.
(M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Defog
- U-turn
Getting a major special offense and bulk boost on top of his coveted pure Flying-typing makes Tornadus a major thorn and pain to even reliably hurt on the special side, but the speed and physical bulk cut severely polarizes the threats he can deal with.
@ Choice Specs
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Dazzling Gleam
- Grass Knot
- U-turn
Here's where building started to get a little tricky. I went through multiple Pokemon before settling on Tapu Koko, who suffers a slight speed drop for a noticeable power and bulk increase. You could also run its Defog sets, as with 121 it's still quite fast.
@ Choice Band
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flip Turn
- Close Combat
- Liquidation
- Megahorn
I knew I wanted Keldeo's stats to give to Dragapult, but finding something to give to Keldeo was a process. I eyeballed both Crawdaunt (who gave Keldeo a booty statline) and Weavile (who almost certainly wouldn't hit hard enough to justify a NP set) before going with Tapu Koko to let Keldeo act as a breaker.
Seriously, just posting the full team it went through several iterations because different Pokemon and moveset potentialities jumped out at me. I really don't think Dragapult will last long, there's a lot of Pokemon that can give it major power increases while not noticeably inhibiting its speed while it simultaneously gives a fantastic statline for any physical attacker.
