Lil guy waddles up to you and goes "please may I have some cheese?"
I love Fuecoco so much.

I can get behind a chili cheese crocodile.
I like this theory that fuecoco will turn out to be ghost/fire based on a Spanish boogeyman folktale:
If it turns out to be true, I just hope they stick the landing with the final form, unlike H-Tyhplosion :( ... and gen 8 starters (though I guess Rillaboom grew on me).
Literally no one's favourite starter is the Grass-Type one and I agree.
Yea, I know, I saw that coco is from cocodrilo too, but I want to believe. :PCrocodile in Spanish is "cocodrilo", because collective dyslexia I guess. So, that is an overreach. Horses, not zebras.
Tripedal Starter when
If the region has no mention or reference to Portugal I will be so salty I'll learn Z-Brine.
Cuz Cara Lisa is a hack. But paradoxically also kind of genius for inventing a Pokemon-fusing machine. Most of the other fossils were able to be revived with much less, so it’s not much of a stretch to assume a proper fossil revival would get all it would need from the Galar fossils to accurately recreate them.
Since my post yesterday, I have been thinking a bit more about these games. To start with, some more thoughts on the games themselves. I am still more interested in Scarlet than Violet, one more reason being that I think “Scarlet” sounds a lot cooler than “Violet”. Both of them are colors, but I thought about them a little more and realized that they are not only colors, but also female names. Though it seems like “Scarlett” is the more common spelling for that name, then there’s also a third variation which is “Scarlette". I wonder if the fact that they are names in addition to colors means something? Either way, I thought it was quite interesting.
I would be so happy if we finally got a good defensive fire type starter. So few good tanky fire types. He definitely looks like he'll have a lot of hp at least
Hoping for a conquistador inspired Pokemon. Maybe a El Cid one too. (OK, OK, we get it. You like medieval/Renaissance motifs)
None of the starters really grab me as of now.
Seeing the birdlike design of the water starter it's may imply that it may be water flying at some point of the evolutionary line, but what if it stays like that for the whole line? Of pure speculation I think the final typings are going to be grass electric, fire ground and water flying. Fire ground could really fit with Fuecoco due to its lizardy design, while Sprigatito could be grass electric due to lynxs living energetic livestyles? Idk but it would be a really cool relationship between the typings of the starters.
I sincerely hope you were not around when Scorbunny was shown, they went much further than the drawing within a dayPokemon Nsfw artists are not human, but even if they are their human rights should be put into question. How do you watch a direct where they present a 4 legged fox and your first thought is "yeah, time to draw a fuck ton of porn out of it." THE THING DOESN'T APPEAR FOR MORE THAN 15 SECONDS AND LIKE 10 MINUTES LATER THERE ARE ALREADY 10 FUCKING DRAWINGS WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH YALL AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Ok I'll give you Unova, but everything referenced in Alola is from HawaiiUnova notably purposely included certain things from other countries. The Tubeline Bridge between Icirrus City and Opelucid City is based on the Forth Railway Bridge that's in Scotland, the Abundant Shrine more hints toward a Japanese inspiration, the Abyssal Ruins are possibly based on the Yonaguni Monument in Japan, and then Gen V Pokemon are based on animals or concepts form all over the globe.
...
Alola I can see shades of other island countries such as Australia and Japan as well as a few tropical locations. A lot of this is usually represented via certain Pokemon species.
