  • You can run VBA at whatever speed you want to - thats one of the main reason why people use it
You'll have to calculate the frame rate to compensate for the speed increase, because at 600% you'll be going through 420 frames a second
To get the maximum speed turn sound off, go to options->set speed->other and enter 1000 per cent, and in options->frame skip select 9/10. This gets my computer to run VBA at up to 700%, but I cant use any other programs at the same time
Lugia is a bit different you can't call Elm inside his room. You'd have to call outside, than move into his room and than walk and talk to him
Roamers (Entei and Raikou) + Lati twins. I haven't actually done yet, so they kind are scary to me too, but Ho-Oh is easy >.< Just have to hit a high delay and just call Elm. It's basically same as wondercards except he has a set nature, and you need a synch pokemon. That's about it >.<

For the the dogs + twins, no clue as I haven't done them yet >.<
Yeah, I have yet to RNG my own Mew yet... argh.
Probably should. I need like all the natures for capture projects >.<

And your welcome, enjoy your mew! ^_^
Congratz! Now be aware, not always are you going to get the nature you want, Wondercards provide random natures. Well not really random but hard to control natures. But still.

    Good job <3
If you want to be adventurous, put 20 in the wanted seconds. You'll get a 35.55 second first timer. You'll be one minute in advance, not 2, if you do that. But make sure you put 20 seconds in Time Finder on RNG Reporter so you aim for the correct time/date.

Everything you wrote seems correct. Don't over adjust. If you're close to your delay by about 10, don't adjust the timer unless you miss by about 10 on a second attempt.

I have to leave the computer now. Good luck.
Search for spreads using PokeRNG, link on first page of help thread.

Use wondercard method in RNG Reporter. Use this seed because the frame is lower, if you want to skip seed searching. It's still perfect IVs, 7b100958 , but it may have a higher delay to hit. If you don't like it, use the other seed.

Go to my guide on Pikatimer for how to use it. I'll only repeat myself by VM, so it's best to go there.

The Mew can have any nature, so soft reset until you get the nature you want.
RNGing in Emerald with an emulator in Emerald is basically the same as on a cart, but 100 times easier.
Use the latest version of VBA
Unlike with carts you can pause, increase the speed of frame advances, pause and advance the frame at your own pace. Ctrl+P pauses the game. Ctrl +N advances the frame by 1. If you are battling a legendary like registeel, which you encounter with the A button, press Ctrl+"A"(whichever letter is assigned to the a button)+P while paused and it will encounter the pokemon without increasing the frame. Its very simple and Ive probably confused you a bit, so just read the emerald guides a few times and it should make sense
Ah okay so just to clarify, int he red highlighted box I should be entering my WANTED delay not my CALIBRATED delay correct? Other then that am I doing everything else correctly?
That means you need to use a seed with a higher delay. You'll probably need to use something like 1200 or so.
Well, in the guide I basically use the same method of calibration for emloop Syberia describes in hit post on the first page of the help thread. I'd definitely recommend reading through it and give it a try. Make sure you're not using an AR though, as it tends to be a little less precise than without. Once you try it out, feel free to ask me any questions and I'll do my best to help.
Haha I never actually saw that whole thing. I have the book though. I wish we had HBO and Showtime here...so many good shows.
I know absolutely nothing lol. That's the one thing I'll probably never do, since I've already got just about everything I need from it in trades.
Roamers are method 1, so are gift pokemon like the platinum dragons. Method K is for anything you can use a syncher on, whether it be a legend or something sweet scented or whatever. It just replaces what method J was in DPPt.
The roamers are always the best way to confirm your seed, but sometimes they are unreliable. You may run into a time when the roamer route matches nothing. In that case, do elm calls, and usually you will be able to find the pattern somewhere but it has been shifted, like the frame has advanced 1-3 times randomly. I don't know what causes this but it happens fairly often whether it be your target delay or an adjacent one. And yes, you are totally right in doing elm calls first to find your frame, then using the radio. Frame right before is correct, and I'm not sure if there are NPCs around or not, but if there are you'll want to exit and press A as quickly as possible to avoid them advancing the frame.
Method K for Sudowoodo and any HGSS poke you can use synch on. You will select the top right station, and then drag the tuner back to the center of the screen to detune. That will count as one advancement of 13-14 or whatever. Repeat that however many times you need to.
Yeah that's basically it. The final elm call you will make is always the one you see on the frame right before your target (for synchable legends, snorlax, sudowoodo, etc.). Sweet scent advances 2 (some people say this varies from 1-2 on HGSS, but is always 2 in DPPt), so you stop 2 frames in front. Fishing is 4, sweet scent on water is 3, headbutt is 3. All those numbers I've written down from HGSS, and I'm not sure if they're different in DPPt but they're in mingot's guide for RNG captures somewhere.

Oh and HGSS uses method K instead of J :P
Yeah, elm calls will help you keep track of the frame you are on and advance 1. Joey will still advance 2 frames. Also, for higher frames I like to use the top right radio station as it advances 13-14 (at least on my game, I think it says a bigger range in the help thread). I just use that and stop somewhere I know will be before my frame, and do some elm calls to pick back up what frame I'm on. It's much quicker to advance that way than making a bunch of phone calls.
Yeah for the most part they're the same. HGSS is easier as far as NPCs go because you are able to actually keep track of what frame you are one, whereas in DPPt you had to either hope NPCs didn't give you any advancement, or find out how much they were advancing and adjust on another attempt. Emloop/pikatimer will generally be necessary if you want to have normal dates, or lower frames. If you want help with emloop I'd definitely be able to help you. I have no experience with pikatimer though. And yeah, legendaries are definitely the easiest.
