XD Minimalism is a movement in music and the other arts, the definition of which is really unclear...Reich is one of the founding members and one of the most well-known living composers. Basically I spend half my paper defining Minimalism, the other half analysing New York Counterpoint (one of Reich's pieces) with it :)
