A Jolly Skill Swapped Regigigas could be fun. Start with Gengar + Some Exploder (like Mewtwo) they protect while you switch out Mewtwo for Regigigas and Skill Swap with Gengar. Suddenly you have 3 Uubers on your team.
Oh yeah, you'd just try to hit your seed a few times, write down the info, then send it to me and I'd run it through the reporter and tell you how far off you were or how you need to adjust or whatever. Oh and it doesn't have to be D or P it can be any stationary legendary.
also if you ever need it we can both get on i r c and i can run my r n g reporter for you since you can't run one on your mac.
That's probably the best way to start. Do something easy like pal k or dia lg and then work on eggs. You have such nice consistent delays and seconds for a beginner i know you'll do well. :)

Sorry man, I have no idea how Heart Gold RNG works and I haven't seen any vids on it either. But I'm willing to bet mattj's seen something on it.
