After a few more tests in which I soft reset without saving, turns out she showed up because I spoke with her in a White game and she asked a yes no question. I've had advice that I am to talk to everyone in one game and that the visiting player to mine must talk to everyone in mine, so I am going to try again, though I think I did that already.
Ok, so I think how it works is that the host stays in the host's world, while the guest has to use high link to visit. Still no luck unlocking more than a hiker on the empty black city despite finishing one mission.
Following up on using High Link to reset Black City: I managed to get two DS communicating with each other, but oddly, Black City only got a female hiker back and nothing else changed. I'm going to experiment some more and see if it will reset properly. I'm having trouble getting both players to be on HighLink at the same time. One player seems to get stuck outside of high link, not sure why, while the other player get access.
Thanks for the heads up, I was just about to try out Rest Sleep Talking Suicune. Now i know it's random I'll give it aurora beam and gust instead!
Hi! Saw your post on my thread. Right now I need a couple of Dittos. HP ground 70 Ditto, HP ice 70 Ditto, HP fire 70 Ditto and Ditto with 31/X/31/31/31/0 and 31/31/31/X/31/0. Do you have any of these on 5th gen?

I was thinking Crimgan, but it's good egg moves (Sucker Punch, Pursuit, Glare) need Ekans/Arbok from 4th gen. I'll give horny bull a go :naughty: -
