Hey Skippy, terribly sorry for the bother, but I saw your post on pokebeach about the box trick in 4th gen. Chamommy tried to confirm if it worked on Platinum but apparently it did not for her. So...we're just curious whether or not it is a Diamond/Pearl only thing or is it really 3rd gen only - from the posts below.

Hey skippy, you see the pokemon pokemonfanboy be breeding at the clan? He breeds shiny flawless w/correct nature/ability pokemon. I was talking to him about RNG breeding, and he didn't even know what I was talking about. He wanted me to teach him actually. How is he, out of all others from PE2k able to get shiny pokemon w/ ablity and nature flawless without the knowledge of RNGing? I feel that he may be saving the pokemon he breeds or hacking them when they do hatch.
enjoy my quirky Jirachi's, their IVs are Quirky 31 / 30 / 29 / 30 / 27 / 31, note that it isnt IV RNGd at all, i just soft resetted it lol

Without a doubt. I used to do the same thing as well, except I didn't have Dittos, so it was a tad harder finding parents for those pokes. And I was restricted as well. Lots of patience...especially when you get an adamant with IVs: 31/16/X/31/31 and that X is 30+ lol.

Thanks man. I really do need some Pokes but my parents just got a new modem and they're pretty strict about keeping the settings on WPA security. You probably know that the DS Lite (DSi can though) can't connect to WPA, so right now I can't use wifi. Guess I'll think of something.
