    you dont have to RNG your ID SID if you dont want shiny captures.

    disregarding the parts that don't make sense, the very first thing i did when i bought soulsilver is RNG my ID / SID combo, the ingame entei, and multiple headbutt tree pokemon.
    I have not even gotten to the 6th gym, or even used the pokewalker.

    I do not own B/W, but I will RNG everything in it on my very first runthrough.
    once you learn how to RNG, you can get any pokemon you want without even trading, which is probably more time efficient as a bunch of people dont even stay online / check VMs.
    Sorry dude my wifi just suddenly went out yesterday so I had to go up and but the new router, set it up, ect. I can trade at anytime after 4:30 EST tomorrow. And what happened with exploits was that I didn't check a pokemon I had recieved a few days before thoroughly enough, and the guy lied about IV/EV spreads. We did a trade back immeadiately so it's all good.

    You will have a much better grasp on how valuable people's Pokemon are after you try to hit your seed for 2 hours only to realize you went over your frame by 2

    also learning 4th gen will help you get started in Gen 5 as soon as it comes out

    i.e. not 'building up credits' to leech off of 5th gen RNGers

    You should highlight the ones you can nickname.

    And learning 4th gen RNG will help you RNG in the 5th gen.
