Hey, I was checking your Eevee starter guide again and I think I've an useful set for Flareon.
Flareon is a nice Pokémon for a mixed set on XD. He can have stab Fire attacks such as Flamethrower. Also Body Slam can be learned pretty early in XD. Bite is always a good move in XD and if I'm right, Shadow Ball is a physical move in XD. I don't know when or where you can obtain Shadow Ball, though. Protect has also it's uses.
Nature might be Brave or Quit I think. He will be slow, but it's better then dropping his defenses I guess. :)

I might try him on my next run.

Edit: Oh, for Umbreon you can also use Bite, Body Slam, Shadow Ball and Prtect. :) I guess this might work, too. ^^

At first I've used Espeon twice. I like Espeon the most as she has high Special Attack and is very fast. The high Special Attack is helpful to get fast through the game. The high Speed is obviously to get fast through the game, too. However when I was SRing, Espeon died fast. Which is why I use Vaporeon now. Vaporeon is strong, has good special attacks and she is bulky. The moveset I give her is Ice Beam, Water Gun/Water Pulse, Bite and Shadow Ball/Quick Attack/Protect. My Vaporeon is usually on a high level, so she outspeeds almost everything anyway. Also you can use her for speed check, while Espeon is too fast to use for speed check. Vaporeon doesn't have high defense, so I compensate this with my second Pokémon, Aggron. He has incredible defense and can launch Earthquakes and Body Slams. Watch out for Earthquake as Vaporeon doesn't have high defense.

I don't really get what the point of doing a -def blaziken would be, as it already gets counter in gen 4 via egg. The only somewhat notable moves it gets are mega kick, double edge, body slam, and dynamicpunch...

Though I will say, I can see mega kick/dynamicpunch working on a lot more things in gen 5 (such as ursaring) along with claw sharpen. I wouldn't breed an emerald blaziken for gen 5 though, no speed boost :(
