Emulator abuse on B/W is the same way. I feel like emulators kind of make it too easy, so I don't do anything on an emulator that I don't have to. Even if it means breeding 12 Gligars until one has Immunity. :\

And I've never tried abusing an ID/SID combo on an emulator. When I did it on the DS, my delay kept jumping between odd and even. Does this happen on an emulator? Or is it just like B/W where you can hit both even and odd delays normally?

Oh, and if you have any questions about B/W RNG abuse, feel free to ask. Reading the research thread tends to scare people more than it helps them.

You won't need a TRU shaymin, nor Oak's Letter really.
All you need is the walk through walls. Pretty much, all you have to do is run to the spot where Shaymin's event begins, and run along the water to the top of the event starting point, and eventually you'll get to some grass, and that's where Shaymin will be.

People haven't tried to abuse their own ID/SID. They wouldn't know how annoying it is to do that, and how you pretty much do that for one or two legendaries to have a perfect IV spread. I think the Suicune is awesome. :) I didn't think one like that existed, and that I'd have to settle for a non-shiny one.

Group interviews? Ugh, I hate those, specially since I know the psychological BS they use to examine and "obtain data" in those activities... In most cases you're gonna be hated and screwed no matter how you perform in the group, but entering that discussion topic is a bit yesterday's news so doesn't really matter now :P

I'm interested in your timid shiny Dive Ball HP Electric Suicune (that's a lot of adjectives). I don't have an active trade thread, but here is my old one. The Unova section is severely outdated. If you don't like anything, I can do a CP/BP. I'd much rather do it in 5th gen, as I don't like to mess around with 4th gen RNG abuse anymore (and there's a chance that the ability could change upon evolution in 5th gen), but I can still do 4th gen if you want.

I'm not sure what you mean. What I do to hit my delay is similar to what you would do on a real cart. I use pika/zomgtimer to give me the correct amount of seconds that I need and then I set the computer clock a few seconds before my reset time and then I try to hit my delay like on a normal cart. I tried doing it by making savestates but I couldn't hit my delay lol. I only use savestates once I have confimed that I have hit my seed and before I sweetscent/fish/encounter a stationary pokemon and 1 for in the battle against the poke that I want to catch.

If you are using kazo's program, try doing it the way I explained but have the memory viewer open so that you can see if you hit your delay :P.

So you say fishing with any rod advances the frame by 4? So if my target frame is 22 would I need to advance my frame to 18 then use the rod? I really want to catch some Gyarados in Dive Balls!

Oh I now see that just hitting target time isn't good enough. I'll have to give it another go another night using this fancy timer thing to hit proper delays. That was most likely the problem. Also need to get a lower frame seed. Thanks for the help. :>
