This made me smile, so lets all turn this into a discussion of what we did on valentines so this thread doesnt have to be closed.

Unfortunately I didnt do anything, so I cant get the ball rolling myself..

I watched a small amount of winter olympics that was on TV, while eating frozen vanilla flavoured milk out of a carton with a spoon. I had leftover chinese for lunch, watched the Simpsons and some Two Ronnies DVDs.
 
I was gonna start creating a game since I haven't done one in ages, but the site I need for sprites is down. :pirate:

Hang on, there's that other site. Maybe that one will work. Only thing is, it doesn't have all the sprites I need.

It's only been a few hours for me, but I'm going out to eat later with some friends and I've got a football (soccer) match later today. :) Happy V-Day to you too!
 
Awesome. Chocolate on Ramen? Anyways me and the GF are goin to dinner later tonight. Dont know where yet xD. But it should be fun =)

Happy Valentines Day to everyone too! Silver looks like he needs a hug.

...But really, it's just another Sunday for me. Barring any drastic surprises, I'm going to spend the day with my cat and my iPod, drawing something.

So far, has only one person really done/is going to do something romantic? As much of a grammatical nightmare as that sentence was, it speaks volumes about Valentine's Day in general. :pirate:

Clean my room, play some guitar, listen to some tuneskeys, eat some food, maybe wank one out or two, PLAY SOME POKEMON, and maybe hang with some of my single friends later so we can cry together.
 
i woke up. went on smogon. am going to eat some cereal and drink a NOS energy drink. I am going to do a thermo dynamics assignment. I am them going to watch the prestige with my housemates (all guys) and do a MATLAB programming assignment while watching it. I'm most likely then going to go to the gym, then either play shoddy or chess for a couple hours and then go to bed.

Being in engineering physics sucks
 
We slept in, woke up a little after 11 and had some... special time. Went to the market and got ingredients for the pot of sauce I made, which I began when we got back around 2. Watched The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, fantastic film. Then, watched Religulous, and it was funny and frightening despite the fact that Bill Maher is a pretentious and pompous dickhead. Had the sauce over angel hair pasta with garlic bread, then I busted out my guitar and played some songs for her. Then I went home.

I got her leather gloves because she doesn't have any, and she got me an amazing Buffalo Sabres long-sleeved shirt.
 
Baking cupcakes right now for my bf... god I'm going to be so tired tomorrow at 5am zzzz

He slept all day even though he has tomorrow off to sleep all day. Men.
 
Aside from making single people feel bad about themselves and ensuring that Hallmark, Chocolate Makers and Florists won't ever need to benefit from the government economic bailout program, I have rather mixed feelings about the holiday.

On one side of the coin, an excuse to express yourself to those around you is never a bad thing. But on the other, it's something you should be doing more than once a year.

That said, if I may make a suggestion in these troubled times:
Forget the flowers, forget the chocolates and don't even bother writing a card that will be read once; then discarded. Instead, look someone in the eye and tell them that you love them.

And then, do it every day thereafter.
 
Well we woke up/got up finally arounddddd.. like 12:30? I slept like a rock, but apparently I hogged the blankets and he didn't sleep as well, oops. I had gotten Rits Bitz (fuck chocolate) and two roses last night, but this morning he added like 6 roses to the 2. It was cute. His mother also gave us those heart candies with phrases and lots of reeses cups. ^_^

We went to my father's after going out to breakfast, and watched the end of Waterboy, followed by The Princess Bride. Eventually we played the Wii game JUST DANCE and then had homemade pizza. It was nice.
 
Woke up at 3 PM, ate breakfast, worked on a project for a class, had dinner, went to the gym, then hung out with some people across campus for a little bit.

Nothing out of the ordinary, sadly.
