anyone play magic?

Me, to myself: It's fine to suggest a mon you just like, or to clean up a particular generation. Not everything needs to be pushing the envelope of the mechanics.

So anyway, thoughts on having Floette-Eternal tied to a Battle card?
there's one slight issue with that

my generator doesn't have battles

what should the saga be named then? It'll be a reference to the war 3,000+ years ago, but I dunno what to call it. I have "The War of Power" right now, but that seems bland

I was thinking that maybe to lower the wordload a bit, changing next evolution from an italicized ability to a keyword might be useful! Here's a lil family line I made to display it.

also yes im starting to get completely hyperfixated on this its crazy @@

If i remember correctly, an aura entering the field under your control, without being cast, forces the you attach the aura to a target of their choice (however this action doesn’t actually target, auras are fucked)

I'd also propose one more change:
Gigantimax - 4RR, Exile Cinderace: From your library, hand, or from outside the game, search for a card named The Blazing Sport, and put it onto the battlefield with three Dynamax counters on it. On your upkeep, remove a Dynamax counter. When The Blazing Sport has no Dynamax counters on it, exile it and return Cinderace to the battlefield tapped.

okay but what happens to enchantments like
Realmbreaker's Grasp - March of the Machine - Magic: The Gathering's Grasp - March of the Machine - Magic: The Gathering

Actually, nothing of substance happens when court change is used on an enchantment like this. The aura starts out under your control, attached to an opponent's thing (presumably) and ends under their control attached to their thing. It doesn't move, and still turns off their thing as if they had decided to play it on their own guy. While sacrificing enchantments is uncommon, the opponent would now be able to do that to pay some cost. It would also matter for effects like devotion which keep track of the white pips on permanents you control. To write Court Change in a way that would move auras, you'd have to do something like exiling them first and returning them to the battlefield under the other player's control.

yeah that would make sense, auras are weird.

I suppose with the super form can of worms somewhat open, we should consider which, if any, Megas should be implemented. Diancie feels like it's near the top of the list since as a gen 6 mon the base form may not have been designed to be fully independent. The other main groups I would consider are:

:lucario-mega::rayquaza-mega:: Significant parts of their games' lore.
:salamence-mega::gallade-mega::gardevoir-mega:: Referenced by Paradox mons
:sceptile-mega::blaziken-mega::swampert-mega:: While the XY starters don't have the ability to show off the gen 6 mechanic, the ORAS starters do.
:salamence-mega::gallade-mega::gardevoir-mega::metagross-mega:, arguably :absol-mega::gyarados-mega::camerupt-mega::sharpedo-mega:: Used by major NPCs in their debut games.

See, with this I was planning on The Ultimatum of Kalos to create a thing that spawns in mega rings, but I suppose a set of artifacts can be made to implement said megas.

Or we can just add "mega evolution" as an activated ability and be done with that.
