Does every legendary Pokemon in HGSS respawn if you knock them out and then defeat the Elite Four again? I am particularly interested in the roamers for this question.

Do their stats (nature/IVs) change for each respawn?

Seconding this question. Can someone give, or direct me to, a full list of all the HGSS legendaries, stating if they respawn, and how you make them respawn.

What is the fastest and best way to gain experience in Diamond? I have everything I need (lucky egg, etc.) but I don't want to go through the slow-as-hell elite 4.

Can somebody tell me if this would allow you to win instantly in competitive Ubers? (I'm just typing this off the top of my head, keep in mind)
Zacchaeus sends out Wobbuffet (Lv100 Wobbuffet?). Opponent sends out Breloom. (Lv100 Breloom?)
Breloom used Spore! Wobbuffet fell asleep! Wobbuffet's Lum Berry woke it up!
Wobbuffet used Encore! Breloom got an encore!
Breloom used Spore! Wobbuffet fell asleep! Wobbuffet is fast asleep.
Zacchaeus switched in Clefable (Lv100 Clefable?). Breloom used Spore!
Zacchaeus wins!
There was a debate and a poll here in Stark Mountain a while back about how the Sleep Clause should be interpreted in that case; I don't think it's ever been made completely clear. (Just over 2/3s of people voting in that poll thought that the Sleep Clause should be defined such that that isn't an insta-lose.) If it's likely to be an issue, I suggest you agree the exact wording of the Sleep Clause with your opponent in advance. (Also, note that using Spore (or more likely Dark Void; Breloom isn't very common in Ubers) on a Wobbuffet would be an incredibly bad idea in a competition where the sleep clause did disqualify encored sleep moves.)

Also, isn't Sleep Clause implemented on Wifi so that any sleep-inducing move fails if one Pokémon has already been put to sleep?

I'm sure this has been answered, but I'm getting a database error when I search Smogon.

When breeding with power items, assuming both parents are holding a different one, do two stats get passed down? Say: attack from male and speed from female?

Now this means that you cant use the everstone nature trick. So would it be a good idea to use the two power items at the beginning to get better breeding stock, and then go for the natures as you finish up the IVs?

considering that game freak's RNGs are so easily abusable I wouldn't find anything strange with 10 or more people to have all flawless legendaries and I didn't know those Pkm were nicknamed. Anyway I don't think anyone here can give you the answer you're looking for, sorry.

When do one gets the National Dex on HG/SS? After beating E4 or Blue?

If I change a pokemon nickname by AR will the pokemon become hacked? Will it pass a hack test?

For the safari zone in HGSS, I understand for certain Pokemon you need to wait a certain number of days with the items out in the field before the Pokemon will appear. For Gible for instance you need 13 Grass Blocks & 17 Rocky Blocks, and apparently only after 100 days would you even see a Gible in the Rocky Beach area.

Can you advance this wait by bringing the DS clock 100 days forward? Can you also level up your items by bringing the clock forwards?

EDIT: Also on Serebii's page for the Safari Zone, they break down the items into 5 categories (Grass, Forest, Rocky, Water, and Other), but I've only seen combinations of the first four that will give you additional Pokemon. Are the "Other" blocks just for aesthetic purposes?

No. No. Yes.

Personal experience.

Wow :|

Has a lot of stuff changed in this game? Are Bulbapedia's percentages accurate for finding wild Pokémon cause again it says 10% for Ditto but I've been looking all day and can't find a single one.

Does anyone know what PID/SID/TID combinations are valid (legit/legal) for a shiny palkia and dialga with timid nature and 31 IVs (for all stats)? Oh and is this the right place to ask a question such as this?

Seed d2140289 gives a flawless Timid spread with a PID of 7942ef72; plugging that PID into ID Finder/Pandora's Box, there are lots of suitable ID/SID combinations. (You can find more info in the Wifi forum, in the RNG thread).

Can you attach a Griseous Orb to any Giratina and have it turn into Giratina-O?
Yes. However, note that you cannot trade the Griseous Orb. This means the only current way to get Giratina-O in HGSS without cheating is to trade in the event Arceus, and choose Giratina at the Shinto Ruins. If you choose Palkia or Dialga you can never legitimately get Giratina-O in HGSS unless you restart your game.
Once you have the Orb, it doesn't matter whether you give it to a Shinto Ruins Giratina, a Distortion World or Turnback Cave Giratina, or an event Giratina - all will become Origin Forme. It's not like Shaymin where only some respond to the Gracidea.

I've been reading articles on Pokémon from sources that I would not necessarily trust about some weird Battle Tower/AI battle mechanics; allegedly, moves like Metal Claw are more likely to trigger their secondary effect when used by the AI than when used by the trainer; if this applies to Quick Claw too, it could explain the ridiculously unlikely-seeming hax that ended several Battle Tower record runs. There's also an allegation that the opponent specifically chooses Pokémon to beat your team; apparently someone hacked a team full of max-speed No Guard Pokémon with Sheer Cold, and every single Pokémon they faced in Battle Tower after a while had Sturdy. (The version wasn't stated, but the wording implies either Platinum or Emerald.) Why I'm asking in SQSA is, is this known to be true/known to be false by Smogon (which I consider a more reliable source)? If not, I might ask in the research thread for it to be tested, but I want to make sure I'm not wasting time with an already-answered question first.
