can some one tell me what redis means
Short for Redistributable in Trade Threads. There are three kinds:

Fully Redistributable- Once you get the Pokemon, you can trade it to others, and they can trade it to others, etc.
Semi-Redistributable- Once you get the Pokemon, you can trade, but the person who receives it cannot.
Not Redistributable- Once you get the Pokemon, you cannot trade it.

Keep in mind that you can't trade them outside of Smogon unless stated otherwise.

Can someone like me to the place where I can find the "Warstory Maker". Like the program that adds color BB Code and stuff. I've seen it on Smogon once and forgot to bookmark it. Thanks in advance.

underoath0426 - Credits allow you to get Pokémon from a person's trade thread essentially, it's like currency that somebody can award you, but it only works for their thread, they aren't universal

GaRgAnt - It's a clan, to the best of my knowledge

if a pokemon that is traded over from another game is disobedient due to not having enough badges, how does a choice item affect it's behavior? will it still loaf around and such?

I'm currently at Olivine Town/City in my HeartGold game. My team is full, and I'm just wondering if you guys see any changes that could maybe help me out now.. or later on in the game.

Bayleef*, Umbreon, Pineco, Wooper, Growlithe, and Gyarados.

My NFE Pokemon are like that because of my everstones.. just like them as little babies for now. But anyways.. back to my question.

tips? comments? switches?

Pretty much any team you have can get you through the game(provided you either have HM mules or your team can learn needed HM's). Just use what you like and it should be fine as long as they are low-leveled.

How can you breed Earthquake onto a Trapinch? I don't want to use/have already used my Earthquake TM, and I can't go through the work of leveling the Trapinch to Lv73 to get it.
Sorry, bro. I tried. At first I thought Drapion might be the method since he's the only bug egg-group that both can learn Earthquake and has a secondary egg-group (water 3), but Skorupi cannot learn Earthquake. All other bug pokemon that can learn Earthquake UNnaturally do so by TM, rendering the whole effort futile.

So your options lie at:

  • Pony up and get that pokemon to level 73
  • Use your TM anyway
  • Ask if someone here has an EQ TM they'd be willing to part with

@V4LOVER, Keep in mind also that if you have a level 91+ Pokemon with Pickup ability, you can randomly pick up the TM in Emerald and all Gen 4 games. You can also snag one in the Battle Tower/Battle Frontier in Gen 4 for 80BP.

It's probably worth leveling a Pokemon with Pickup to 91 just for that reason (plus you can snag things like PP Max in HGSS and PP Up in all Gen 3 and 4 Games).

im aware of this.. everyone is. Was hoping for a little more, nut aight.

Well really the point of in-game teams is to have fun since you can screw around as much as you want, and still master the game. But to give you advice, I personally liked Ampharos on my team since it gave me nice coverage- though it's easier to get one at the start of the game. I saved a spot for Dratini as well- the one u get from Dragon Master dude. Ummmmm i tried for 2 hours to catch Larvitar in the Safari zone with no success, but having a T-tar in the Elite Four would be killer...But since u get Dratini and Larvitar toward the end of the game I think you may wanna switch Pineco for Ampharos since Pineco does best in defense, which you won't need too much of in the rest of the game. I say this because you can restore yourself if needed with potions, and it may get boring if you're stalling the whole match as opposed to sweeping away with T-tar, Ampharos etc. I HATE the evee-lutions for unknown reasons, but that's just me being an idiot so you could keep Umbreon if you want. I applaud you for using wooper simply because most people don't even consider using it... hope this is what you wanted to know!

@ Dusk97, As far as Eeveelutions go, in HGSS Umbreon rules the roost, and is easily the best of the bunch for playing through the game.

@ Phadunk, I agree with Dusk97, ditch the Pineco and get an Ampharos. Electric is extremely useful against the Elite Four.

A Dragonite for the Elite Four will definitely help, but is pretty unnecessary, plus its a lot of grinding. Tyranitar is the same thing, an awful lot of grinding, plus he'll probably get slaughtered by the champion.

I'd probably ditch the Growlithe, he's not going to help you much once you get past Pryce. Fire types in general are very weak in HGSS. Instead probably get a Piloswine (or Mamoswine if you can get a Heart Scale), or a Ghost or Psychic like Gengar or Alakazam as they can pretty much sweep. Crobat is pretty awesome too.

Quagsire is very useful for the Elite Four. The only thing it's weak to is Grass, which you simply don't see in any abundance once you get past Erika. It's moveset is extremely useful as well.

One quick question. How do you stop breloom from doing it's job??

On a lot of OU teams, practically everyone has a swampert (including me). This allows the opponent to basically switch in breloom for free (assuming it's at maximum health) and spore swampert (or whatever you switch to) and basically get a free sub set up (assuming that the pokemon stays asleep at least one turn, which usually happens). So, how do you counter breloom. If you send in swampert, you're pretty much screwed.

Here are some other counters I've seen: Dragonite, Crobat, Having Flygon or Scizor U-Turn into a Ghost, Gyarados can Taunt but can't do much back without Bounce, Gliscor can Taunt but can't do much back, the one I personally use is Zapdos. Slow mons like Bronzong and Blissey are basically Breloom magnets, you could always run a hyperoffensive team?

This might answer your question:

Pokemon A fights, Pokemon B has Exp Share.
Case 1: Both have PKRS. Both get double EV's.
Case 2: Only A has PKRS, only A gets double EV's.
Case 3: Only B has PKRS, only B gets double EV's.

About EV's, If I max out the EV's I want for a pokemon when it's at a later level, will I get less stats by lvl 100 then if I EV trained at level 1?
