There's any problem on use a Pokémon with PtHGSS moves in D/P? I mean, have some problem with NINTENDO (or only with pokesaved Pokémon in that case?).

Thanks in advance!

It depends on what you want to do (play competitively or not), and really just on how you view your Pokemon. However, if you are just playing in-game, then I do find it takes a lot of the fun out of it if you just hack everything.

Can someone battle me its my first battle and the rules are :
this will be a double battle
you can use anyone exept ubers
no sleep inducing moves the rest like burn are ok
VM me if you want to battle my
my fc is 1849 6911 6320

For the ingame trainer battles? Do their Pokemon have set natures/EVs/IVs? This includes the Gym Leaders, Elite 4, the rival, Red etc.

Yes. And remember that EVs = 0 for in-game opponents aside from Battle Tower

No, I'm talking about battling other people over wifi. How would you know whether someone is using hacked pokemon?

You would need to just check that every turn is possible: it can learn every move it has, and could conceivably have stats at a level such that it would do the damage it is doing. And the damage calculator is your best friend.

If I have a dual-type Pokémon on my Pokéwalker whose types are 2 of the 3 special types for a particular course (such as Torterra for Yellow Forest), do I get an additional bonus, or not? If so, how much?

@misdreavous i didnt know sorry :\

@xEsz, with Action Replay/Pokesav, you can put Wish in you Chansey/Blissey, but the pokemon becomes Hack :\

I know we're not supposed to ask what sort of hacks are legal, but I've looked everywhere I can think of and just can't find a thread with a definitive set of rules. What hacks, if any, are legal in tournament/wifi/casual play?

(Mods, please don't get mad at me, as I really had no choice but to ask.)

Well, it is my understanding that if you say in you sig that you use legal hacks, you are allowed to use them in "wifi/casual play". I don't know about tournament though, sorry.

Yeah, I've seen plenty of people with that signature. I just don't know which hacks are legal. For example, could you get 99 Rare Candies to check a Pokemon's IV's, or spawn TM's in your inventory rather than finding/buying them? I assume creating a Pokemon with perfect IV's is illegal, but what isn't? That's what I need to know.

I may being very silly here but where do i find all the pokemon sprites that i'd like to add into my posts and how do i add them in? A link to the appropriate place or an answer would be very helpful. Thankyou

Here are all the ones up to HGSS: http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites.html

EDIT: @ Xerlith: Generally, anything which directly modifies the Pokemon is considered poor form (changing IVs and generaly EVs), and it depends on the person how they feel after that. Some don't like any hacks at all, some are more liberal and allow anything so long as it does not modify the actual Pokemon.

Is Charge such a poor move that it isn't covered in any electric Pokémons analysis?
A special defence boost on turn used, and a possible force switch the next turn.

The trouble is that generally Electric types need the moveslot, and cannot take advantage of the Sp. Def. boost because they are so frail. It also shouts 'I am about to use an Electric-Type attack' like Solar Beam or Fly, which is very unhelpful because of the huge number of Ground-Types, which will almost definitely have switched in to the Electric-Type in question by the next turn.
