Lets say my opponent sets up Spikes and I send in a Flying-Type/Pokemon with Levitate. Then lets say my opponent sends in a Gravity user and uses Gravity. My question is will the Spikes hurt my Pokemon if it is already on the field and Gravity is used?

Spikes are "Entry" Hazards therefore I'm going to have to say no. I have not tested myself but I did use a Gravity Team in Gen IV and I do not remember that ever happening. Spikes and SR only take effect during a PKMN entry.

Scarfed Rotom-W uses Timid 252/252 special attack and speed in the analysis; but I usually end up tricking my Scarf away about halfway through the match.

Is there any speed EVs being wasted that I could use for more bulk? What do i actually beat with 252 speed, both scarfed and unscarfed?

I have two questions.

First, does breeding DW ability Pokemon disturb the Masuda Method statistics in any way (assuming one is Japanese and one is American)?

Second, if I'm breeding a DW ability Pokemon and I wish to pass down its nature as well as its ability, will attaching an Everstone give the usual 50% nature inheritance chance and not interfere with the 40% DW ability inheritance chance?

Thanks. Also, how do I get Dream Balls? I went into the Entralink and had 2 Pokémon waiting for me in the Entree Forest, but I only had 1 Dream Ball. How can I get more?

EDIT: I figured out that if I use the Dream Ball on the first Pokémon, I'll have 1 more when I get into battle with the second Pokémon.

You should get one each... And you are able to use non-dream balls to the same effect (Perfect capture rate)

They appear one at a time in the Entralink while you're battling the Pokemon there.

I am attempting to write my first RMT in the forums and would like to tag the images for each of my team members (much like most RMT's do). Is there a commonly used source on the website that people use?

Would it alright to run Gliscor and Salamence/ Garchomp on the same team? They both have a x4 weakness to Ice. I'm just not sure if I want two pokes who immediately die to Ice.

You can if you have enough checks for it. Things like Heatran take practically no damage from Ice moves and hit back hard with STAB Fire. Or you can run Fire Fang on Garchomp and attempt to fight Ice types (unless of course it's not an Ice typed Pokémon)

Kind of a strange question, is anyone here interested enough in Black/White speedruns to warrant a topic?

(The best idea at SDA for segmented at the moment is to use the starter and elemental monkey until Narcene, catch a level 17 Sawk, come back and whomp the Normal gym and don't battle using any other pokemon the rest of the way. Winter is best for a faster Twist Mountain.)

There is also an old thread here about the no-exp. speedrun done on emulator a while ago.

I have not been able to use regenerator, which is basically why i ask this:

If a pokemon with regenerator is hit with Pursuit, does the pokemon regenerate first or does Pursuit hits first?

Where should we post suggestions for a Modded Server? I was thinking creating one for Smogon would be beneficial.
(NO new abilities or new attacks, or new items, just adjusting ones that exist to Pokemon that make sense, like Ninetails learning Morning Sun).

Also, it would be good to discuss this to point out how the metagame's flaws can be improved and encourages a deep understanding of the current metagame (like how CAP is specific to making a certain Pokemon with a certain niche add to the game).
Just wanting an answer

I just wanted to get some last-minute input on my team before I post it in the RMT section. Any advice is appreciated. ^ ^

Alrighty, I think I'll run a gen IV Superpower Pig. I wish his attack options weren't so limited between variants; why does swinub have to be a male only DW, and why does superpower have to be a gen iv move?

Well, next question. Trick Room Bronzong. I was thinking of throwing a Zoom Lens on, to boost Hynosis's accuracy pre-TR, but I realize it's only like, 72% accurate even then. Would it be more useful to run, say, Red Card and Recycle? Just an idea, but I feel like it'd make him a rather annoying wall, and I've been dying to use Red Card. It's like Whimsicott, but after-the-fact.

If you have recently got back into playing pokemon... what are some ways to go in terms of team development? (Mainly referring to 5th gen)

What is a good set for a Mamoswine? Ice Shard, Earthquake. What else? Superpower seems like a good idea, but I'm entierly not sure.

Ice Shard
EQ
Icicle Spear/Icicle Crash
Stealth Rock/Superpower/Endeavor

Endeavor might look strange/gimmicky, but it is awesome in combination with Ice Shard.

Hm, could be an idea, but without a recovery move you probably won't get all that much use out of Recycle Red Card. I prefer just to go fully offensive with TR Bronzong - Gyro Ball, Earthquake, and Explosion. (Explosion is Bronzong's U-Turn!) Though of course the Explosion nerf is very annoying. (I use Lum Berry to help ensure TR set up against sleepers, but you could also run Mental Herb to stymie Taunters).

Does anyone know if you can get Wifi working on Windows 7, I just downloaded the software off their website but keep getting an error message when I try to install.
