Anyone got their worlds DS yet?
I haven't kind of obviously, and I'm guessing it'll be slower to arrive for me and the rest of the pros in Team Europe since we're well the other side of the atlantic.
And yeah I wouldn't mind knowing if anyone has some information on them either. At the event I heard everything from them being custom (this was in an early version of the website remember) to being early release red ones to just normal boring black or blue ones. Post here in England usually takes ages anyway though so my DS will probably arrive after I leave home for Wales which will probably suck. The postman arrived at THREE O'CLOCK TODAY, oh my god how late is that.

The only thing that is affected by the level drop is the Level. If you put 252 EVs in Atk and Spd, it'll still have 252 EVs in Atk and Spd. It'll just be the stats it would normally have if it had 252 EVs in Atk and Spd and was L50. Same thing with IVs. They aren't affected. If you want to know what its stats will be @L50, just use a stat calculator, like metalkid's or serebii's or legendarypokemon's. Put the Species, IVs, EVs, and Nature in. Then set the Level to 50.
The EV bonuses are scaled down along with everything else, so it doesn't matter what level it is normally. The only reason to go above level 50 is if it evolves or learns a move you want at a higher level.

What's there to answer? The Atlanta regional has had a decent amount of attendance just like the rest. I don't think we got numbers yet.
I have no idea what a "fun adult" is supposed to be or if your mom is one. Whether or not you have an adult there is usually dependant on your age. And if you need money to attend, then you should start saving. These two are questions you need to ask yourself, not us.

Do a search for "Georgia" or "Atlanta" and you should find some stories from those who attended! We've had someone with an account on Smogon win the past three years.
Regarding money, the event itself is completely free, so the only things you will have to pay for are transportation, food, and hotel rooms (if it's far enough that you have to stay overnight). So the cost is almost entirely dependent on how far away you are from the event.
Unless you're going to meet up with other Smogoners or something, I'd recommend bringing someone with you, because spending all day by yourself probably won't be very fun.

I saw 50% of the people at regionals change their teams before nats. Why?
Cause usually they've come up with a better team by nationals so it makes sense really.
Ok 2 questions.
1.Are RNG abused pokemon allowed at VGC? Like the ones with flawless IV's?
2. When EV training a pokemon. Let's say I catch a wild jellicent.
Its untrained so it has 0EV's. I want to raise the atk. So I battle a pokemon (lilipup for example)
That gives you 1 atk EV. If I battle 252 lilipups in a row. And I battle another pokemon that raises 1 defense EV per battle, and battle it 252 times in a row. Am I all set with EV training the pokemon?
I know that its obviously not gunna give me all the EV next time I level up. But
Am I all done? So that I just have to worry about leveling up? Because I know when
It reaches level 100, the numbers will be there?
Or am I missing somethin on how EV training works?

2. You technically could give it 6 more EVs, but other than that you would have to level it to level 50.

well if you don't have anything that raises ev's in attack you could do that except it would take forever to do and as voodoo pimp said you can only have 255 max with only 252 being used at all
You can't have 256 EVs in a stat. 255 is the limit, and since it rounds down to the nearest multiple of 4, you should stop at 252.

EVs scale directly with level. So at level 100 you'll have 63 extra stat points, but at level 28 it will be 63*28/100=17.64 extra points. You still have maximum EVs, they just don't give as many extra points. So yes, you will be done after that.
Right. You could do it all with vitamins and wings at level 1 if you really wanted to, and it would still turn out the same at the end. All that matters is the total EVs.
