hmm with hack checks don't they just check the trainer id and place i caught it and the stats because i have made those all plausible ones if not what should i change to make them pass the "test", that said how about i use lets say a flash card and catch pokemon with a 100% catch ratio other then that i don't do anything to it will those pokemon be accepted?
 
I know this is kind of late to be replying, but i never get an error message, and the nickname's not an issue, and i have the latest version.

The software just doesn't seem to register my existence. It never asks for a password like the site sais it should.
 
Hi, I'm new to this and I'd like to start playing, but I have a few questions and I'm a bit overwhelmed... I tried searching for them but there was just too much information.

1. When you make a Pokemon on Pokemon Online, all of its DVs (IVs ??) seem to be set to 31 by default. Now, that's obviously not natural, but... would one usually leave them that way on here?

2. I see a lot of people play with only "released Dream World abilities". Is there a list of what these are, so I don't mess something up?

3. This may be completely ridiculous, but I have no idea what a "preview team" is lol.

EDIT: I found a thread here for reporting released Dream World abilities and attacks. Do they keep the OP updated though? Or is the info just spread through the thread?

Yes, unless you want to use a specific Hidden Power type or need to reduce a Pokemon's stat(Trick Room sweepers tend to go with 0 Speed ivs).

Not too sure about it, there is a thread but I'm not sure if it is updated regularly.

Huh? If you mean that you can see the opponent's team at the start of a battle, then yes it is part of the clauses in Gen V.

Hey, I got a question.... or rather a problem. My name on PO is StormDragon. While I was on my computer froze up so I had to reset. I get back on my computer and back on PO to find that my name is still online. I thought it might have been someone taking my name but when I got on with a different name and checked it, I saw my exact same team, rank, and rules. Is this some kinda bug in the system or is this some randum nub who's good at copying data?
 
There isn't anything to bring to anyone's attention: you didn't log out of the server, so it assumed you were still there. Otherwise people would keep being logged out if they stopped doing anything for a bit.
 
Can somebody please point me in the direction of someone who can try out a Ninjask set for me? I would do it myself but my computer recently caught a virus, and the only way to get on here is either at school or the public library.

Obviously there are ppl in the server, but I can't connect for some reason. I tried not putting a username but the same thing happens. Plz help I'm new to this
 
You are probably using a Username which has been registered by someone else, and so needs a password. Try using another username.
 
No. It still doesn't work. Every possible username i can come up with has the same message. I decided not to use a username. It said I'm connected to server, but no one is online. It's just blank
 
So I've played a little bit of all 5 GenV tiers. But now I'm trying to do some GenIV on the PO server. I changed the tier to "OU Gen 4" but it says "Team is invalid for this Generation"

I have a team that I used on Shoddy in GenIV. I know it is legit, no GenV stuff in it.

Why is my team invalid, and what can I do to fix it?




edit: nvm, I managed to figure it out. there's a menu at the very top in tiny print in the teambuilder. It lets you do it.
 
So, can i get some actual help?

Seriously, this thing isn't working at all and no one seems to have any answers. I'd ask on the chatrooms, but the program refuses to acknowledge my existence for some reason.

Also, can someone maybe go on and challenge someone called Meaaaaa, that's me. Maybe it'll give some kind of error message explaining the problem?
 
i had a similar problem, i think it's something firewall related, being an administrator on the computer you're using solves the issue (assuming we had the same issue)
 
Try going on with a nickname like lwjhbf9p24giifbpwe7fg just to make sure you are not hitting a registered name (not that one though, I have that registered). Because it does sound like what happens when you try to use a registered nickname.

EDIT: Yes, firewall is your next bet. You could also try taking it down for five minutes and trying.

It sounds like tehy's problem. Try using a Nickname which definitely has not been registered, or otherwise try dropping your firewall for five minutes and try, if you can. Failing those, follow him to the help forum above.
