Electro Dance Music

David Guetta does not fucking deserve to be number one. He is talented and used to be pretty awesome but over the last few years has sold out and made nothing but crap. Can't really take the poll seriously anymore.

Anyway guys, I've got an upcoming guest mix to be featured on a radio show on World of House Radio so here it is: http://soundcloud.com/3verest/3verests-bimbos-house-guest. If you want a track list or a specific track ID just ask!

Alright some sick releases I've heard:

Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Sylvia Tosun - An Angels Love (Vocal Mix) - Sick track, similar to "Walk the Edge" but a more modern version which is awesome in its own way. Speaking of...

Alex M.O.R.P.H - Walk The Edge (Alex M.O.R.P.H B2B Woody Van Eyden Remix) - Words can't even describe how epic this track is.

Bingo Players - Rattle (Original Mix) - Very unusual synth but I guarantee that it's gonna be hooked in your mind once you hear it for a long time. You have been warned.

Lots more to come but its 1:10 am and I'm working tomorrow!

Time to revive this!

Massive new tune from Skrillex, yet again he smashed it!

Skream was one of the artists that got me into the whole dubstep genre of music, his later stuff is starting to have more of 'early Rusko' sound to it, is that a bad thing? I say not =D. Really chilled out tune.

That skrillex track is eww imo. It's just a bunch of high pitched synths...makes my ears unhappy (]#_#[);

I do like the Skream track though, I just don't like the way skrillex tries to be popular, or any of the new "Dubstep" artists, using big and noisy synths. It is by no means attractive to listen to, only blasting it makes it sounds relatively good/danceable/enjoyable. There is very little variation in popular dubstep and it annoys me.../rant.

Really though...skrillex is terrible, many people don't consider him dubstep, I'm sure you can find something better to listen to.

It's been literally years since the last time I posted in this thread, and I have a lot of good music that I'd like to share here. So, here are two songs that are currently big in the EDM industry:

> Levels - by Avicii

> Epic - by Sandro Silva & Quintino

Both songs are sick, specially Levels by Avicii which I listened to for the first time in a night club near where I live not so long ago. The drops in minutes 1.07 for Levels and on 2.15 for Epic are great, totally love 'em. Let me know what you guys think or if you have listened to these before. I look forward to playing what everyone's been posting in this thread lately. Cheers.

Sorry to ruin your mood Setsuna, but I posted Levels a while back... (which apparently got removed off of Youtube..., so I guess you are in the clear by reposting it...)

Don't know if this has been posted, but:

is pretty great.

not trying to be a dick, but that skream song sounds nothing like rusko's initial sound. also im not saying its a bad song persay, but its hard to label stuff like this dubstep, i mean can you identify any dub or 2 step in it? Bit of a shame really, skream is so fucking good sometimes but that album was average

ALSO DID ANYONE ELSE GO TO OUTLOOK FESTIVAL IN THE SUMMER IN CROATIA?

anyway

Burial & Four Tet / Burial and Jamie W, pick one and learn to love burial

Modeselektor & Thom Yorke

emika scuba remix

breakage, hes just so good

YJai paul

sub is probably necessary to enjoy these songs btw

Nero is becoming one of my favorite artists really fast

Crush on You is currently one of my favorite of his tracks. (Also his song Me and You was featured in a Beats by Dr. Dre commercial).

I also like Gemini a lot, too. Blue is a really good track and it's pretty relaxing as well. I like Falling a lot as well.

I've been listening to a lot more DnB lately instead of dubstep. It's more high energy to me and I dunno I just like it more. J Majik and Wickaman are probably my favorite at the moment, followed by the Dirtyphonics.

Loadstar - Space Between

Danny Byrd - Tonight ft Netsky

Rusko - Everyday (Netsky Remix)

I haven't posted in here for ages, because between my new job DJing at a club twice a week for 5 hours a night and just being generally busy I haven't posted in non-sports sections of smogon all that much!

Move for First Aid from Single Ladies (3verest Bootleg)

Yeah I mashed up three or so songs myself for this one, it's one of the few (semi) original tracks I've made and I've been getting a lot of positive feedback messaged to me and from people on the dancefloor in clubs. I've got about 1000 new songs which I can't post all of, so I'll just show you all some of the biggest dancefloor killers in heavy electro/house going around!

Knife Party - Internet Friends (Original Mix)

Heavy heavy electro, the second drop is amazing and I love playing it at raves!

Duck Sauce - Big Bad Wolf (Dada Life Remix)

Way better then the original imo, very fun to mash up with songs as well.

Chuckie - Who is Ready to Jump (Dada Life Remix)

I lost my shit when Andy Murphy dropped this at Summadayze in Melbourne. One of the better songs to get people on their feet!

EDIT: I love both the songs you posted Acklow!

really gotten back into breakcore and idm recently after moving away from dub and dnb
[sort of nsfw i guess but that shouldn't matter unless you're a pansy (BAN ME PLEASE)]

still rather a big fan of dubstep though

anybody have any suggestions besides the default skream/coki/benga/mala/rusko? I know there was a dubstep thread a while ago, but I can't find it. It thought it was made by m0nk but I guess I was wrong.
