Submissions
Each slate you have the opportunity to turn up to five of your favourite video game characters into Pokemon (check the Winning Crossovers tab below to make sure your character has not won before). Feel free to resubmit your character in a following slate if they did not win.

You will need to create a suitable Type, Ability, and Moves for these characters. To keep things interesting, each character can have a new signature move, new signature ability, and/or new G-Max move. Be sure to explain what your new signature move or ability does. Keep in mind of the abilities and affinities that the characters have in their original games and series.

As a guide, keep your submissions as powerful relative to their own universe. A regular enemy should have average stats, protagonists should have stats similar to OU Pokemon and god-like characters should be limited to cover legendary BST.
I also suggest reading the first few posts on the front page. They include things such as submission templates, guidelines, a full list of previous winners and other helpful information.

Thank you! I actually read it but since I'm blind I somehow missed that.

Congratulations to KirbyRider1337, Cookie Butter and KeeganSkymin4444 for winning with Tartaglia, Pac-Man and Maya Fey.

No slate bonus this week, you may sub any character you like.

Also head over to the Crossover Chaos Discord to participate in the Balancing Slate, which will be open later today. You will be able to make suggestions for changes of previous winning Crossover Pokemon.

As always submissions for the current slate close in one week.
Have fun!

- Power: 110
- Accuracy: 90
- PP: 10 (max 16)
- Effect: Has a 10% chance to paralyze.
- Flavor: A swift approach followed by a lightning kick.

Overview: One of the bosses in Curse of the Moon (as well as a boss in Ritual of the Night), this mechanical peacock-like demon is a being capable of controlling storms. It's decently fast, has solid power, and it has access to a few types of coverage it can use, with the majority of its strongest moves being kicks.

Pokemon: Leif
Type: Bug/Ice
Abilities: Ice Scales/Oblivious/Aftermath
By holding the Badge Equipper item, Leif restores 1/8th of his HP every two turns or when switching out.
Stats: 78/60/85/117/95/95 (Total: 530)
Notable Moves: Ice Coffin (See Mina Nishizawa), Bug Buzz, Silver Wind, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Icicle Crash, Icicle Spear, Ice Shard, Ice Punch, Freeze Dry, Shadow Ball, Hidden Power, Quiver Dance, Acupressure, Memento, Work Up, Barrier, Amnesia, Curse, Ice Ball, Haze, Mist, Safeguard, Light Screen, Reflect, Stockpile, Swallow, Spit Up, Confide, Turn Relay (See Vi), Baton Pass, Ally Switch
Overview: Leif is the final party member in Bug Fables, and for reasons unknown is capable of using ice magic. It's revealed rather early in the game that he is in fact from a time long before the events of the game, somehow, so he applies for the slate bonus. Ice Scales comes from being a moth with ice powers, just like Frosmoth. Oblivious comes from being immune to powerful pheromones, as well as other spoilery reasons. Aftermath is also somewhat of a spoiler, but it remains applicable. Him having Ice Coffin references one of his powerful ice magic abilities, Frigid Coffin. His moves come from his status as a magic-using bug, with the Ice attacks coming from his offensive abilities, his stat changing moves coming from his ability to buff party members and debuff foes, and Barrier and his screen moves come from being able to create a bubble shield to protect his party members with.

People been asking about AHiT croissants before last slate started so I decided to resub this

"AHAHAHAHA! FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLL!!"
Pokémon: The Snatcher
Origin: A Hat in Time
Type: Ghost
Abilities: Broken Potion (Renamed Disguise. Snatcher's vulnerable form is Snatcher-Blue.) (Flavor: The first attack to hit Snatcher breaks a potion, getting some blue on him. The attack also manages to land a bit of damage on him, but not much.)
Notable moves: Potion Throw (From Plague Knight), Fling, Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Shadow Sneak, Phantom Force, Lock-On, Psychic, Telekinesis, Poltergeist, Rain Dance, Minimize, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Earth Power, Double Team, Bulldoze, Grass Knot, Attack Order, Infestation, Outrage, Nasty Plot, Seed Bomb, Lash Out
Stats: 50/95/70/125/115/80 [BST 535]

Reasoning: Ghost due to being a shadowy entity with death powers. He also was once a human, undergoing his transformation after a misunderstanding when his lover spotted him buying flowers from some woman for her, the poor princess thinking it wasn't just a transaction. Broken Potion because he's invulnerable during the first half of the fight, the second half kicking in once one of the blue potions fails to detonate on impact and said potion is thrown back at him. Potion Throw and Fling because he throws potions at you. Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse because he can use darkness powers and hey it's STAB. Shadow Sneak because he makes swift movements phasing in and out of the ground in his boss fight, as well as one of his attacks having two Snatchers, where you have to hit the right one instead of a fake (that's Double Team), and Phantom Force because he can phase in and out of the ground. Lock-On because of the reticles appearing on the ground in his boss fight and how he keeps one of those potions above you for a little while until it finally crashes into the ground. Psychic, Telekinesis, and Poltergeist due to handling said potions, Rain Dance because the places where Hat Kid goes to collect his contracts are somewhat stormy, Minimize because he can change his own size at will, Thunderbolt and Thunder because in Death Wish mode, Some of his ultimate form's lasers spread electricity, and the beams that strike Hat Kid to collect her soul are reminiscent of lightning anyway. Earth Power because of said lasers, Bulldoze because he can emerge from the ground and trips Hat Kid whenever he does, Grass Knot because dark, thorny plants mark where you collect the last three contracts, Attack Order and Infestation because he uses his own minions in his fight, Outrage is Imperial Rage and testing his patience is a bad idea, and Nasty Plot because of his dealmaking shenanigans and general demeanor. Seed Bomb because he summons exploding apples when Hat Kid is facing off against the final boss. Also Lash Out because he wasn't always the villain he is, and again, not taking the contract is a bad idea.
ALSO SANS KINGSMOULD TIME
Pokémon: Perdido
Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Type: Fire/Fighting
Ability: Technician / Conflagrate (From Rimuru from CCEX and Star Breaker)
Notable moves: Sacred Sword, Smart Strike, Fell Stinger, Fury Attack, Drill Run, Slash, X-Scissor, Iron Defense, Protect, Axe Strike (From Camilla), Flamethrower, Earth Power, Overheat, Swords Dance, Fire Spin, Close Combat, Return, Brutal Swing, Night Slash, Solar Blade, Throat Chop, Machine Gun (From Austin Carter)
Stats: 50/140/95/100/50/95 [BST 530]

Reasoning: Fire because this is the blade's element, and since a Blade's element ties into the Driver's attacks (in this guy's case it's Patroka), that's Conflagrate. Fighting and Technician because of having not just the one Blade Weapon, but three more on top of that too. Stats show the contrast the with another Blade named Cressidus that shows up in the same fight as Perdido; Put in Nia's words, Perdido's "got weapons galore", and Cressidus "is a master of defense", though Perdido's use of a Shield Hammer (an all defense, no offense weapon) and a Chroma Katana (Another tank weapon, this one favoring agility) lead to Defense and Speed not being that bad either. Small Strike for the same reasons as Togetic, Fell Stinger, Fury Attack, and Drill Run are from the Megalance, Iron Defense and Protect from the Shield Hammer, SpA and Special Coverage because Patroka uses plenty of powerful ether-based arts using this Blade (One even lights an area on fire for plenty of time), which also courses throughout the ground. Return because of Blades being more effective the greater the affinity, SD and Sacred Sword because of the Chroma Katana, Axe Strike self-explanatory, X-Scissor because quad wielding where at least two of the weapons are bladed. Beedrill also inspired some of the moves, and the Dark-type moves make sense because of Perdido's involvement in Torna. Finally, the weapon Patroka uses in the fight (if the link between him and her in battle is any indication) is his fifth weapon: A big gun. That's Machine Gun. Penta wielding's presumably kinda difficult even for Perdido because have you tried tri-wielding, let alone with a gun that size? So he lets Patroka use his weapon.
help i'm also subbing the other torna blade from the end of chapter 4
Pokémon: Cressidus
Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Type: Rock
Ability: Iron Fist / Crystallize (Rock -ate.)
Notable moves: Thrash, Protect, Iron Defense, Stone Edge, Rock Wrecker, Explosion, Earthquake, Earth Power, Stomping Tantrum, Brutal Swing, Mega Punch, Hammer Arm, Arm Thrust, Drain Punch, Recover, Heal Pulse
Stats: 100/95/140/50/95/50 [BST 530]

Reasoning: Rock because Cressidus is an Earth Blade, Iron Fist because his weapon is two bulky gauntlets, Crystallize because his element carries over into them. Stats focus on him being a highly defensive Blade as per Nia's description, and lo and behold, his Driver's the tank when he's fought, plus his stats are Perdido's but rearranged to top off the contrast. There's fan-like structures in those gauntlets that form shield-like structures, so Protect and Iron Defense. In his fight, he uses as Blade Specials Dead Ball (Rock Wrecker, Stone Edge), Berserk March (Thrash, Stomping Tantrum, maybe Brutal Swing due to his involvement in Torna), and the highly devastating Stellar Explosion. (Explosion, Earthquake, Earth Power) He also gets healing moves and Drain Punch because in spite of being a Tank Blade, he's actually capable of party-wide healing.

Pokémon: Kragg
Type: Bug/Rock
Ability: Control Earth (Terrain counterpart of Cloud Nine) / Mountaineer (from CAP)
Signature Moves:
  • Wall Run: Rock, Physical, 70 BP, 100% Acc, 20 PP | The user curls up into a ball and performs a rolling technique intended to scale walls. | U-turn clone.
  • Earth Pillar: Rock, Physical, 100 BP, 95% Acc, 5 PP | The user jumps above the target and creates a pillar of earth beneath its feet. | Has a 50% chance to raise both defenses by 1 stage each. Cannot be used under Gravity.
Other Moves: Stone Edge, Rock Blast, Rock Slide, Earthquake, Megahorn, First Impression, U-turn, Steamroller, High Jump Kick, Close Combat, Superpower, Low Kick, Accelerock, Sucker Punch, Knock Off, Rock Climb, Rapid Spin, Smart Strike, Sky Uppercut, Body Press, Seismic Toss, Circle Throw, Brick Break, Low Sweep, Bulldoze, Rock Tomb, Smack Down, Rock Throw, Rollout, Reversal, Fling, Ancient Power, Nature Power, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Shore Up, Wide Guard
Stats: 100/120/99/55/85/76 | 535 BST
Reasoning: "RIVALS OF AETHER is an indie fighting game set in a world where civilizations wage war by summoning the power of Fire, Water, Air, and Earth." - official website
The characters of the game are anthropomorphic animals, and logic says that Kragg is a rhino beetle, therefore Bug-type. His capability of controlling the earth translates to Rock typing. He's classified as a Wall Runner, sporting a massive body but being able to roll around at high speeds. His movepool and Abilities are extrapolated from his profile.

Pokémon: Vert
Type: Grass
Ability: Kinestra Winds (another Flying-type Steelworker variant)
Signature Moves:
  • Sylhet Spear - Grass, Special, 85 BP, 100% Acc, 15 PP | Has a 30% chance to disable the target's last used move.
  • Kinestra Slash - Flying, Special, 120 BP, 75% Acc, 5 PP | Targets all adjacent foes. 20% chance to lower each target's Speed.
Other Moves: Hurricane, Air Slash, Drill Peck, Energy Ball, Power Whip, Leaf Blade, Bullet Seed, Ice Beam, Sludge Bomb, Aura Sphere, Scald, Body Slam, Slash, Fury Attack, Smart Strike, Nasty Plot, Agility, Cotton Spore, Teleport
Stats: 60/80/70/115/75/120 | 520 BST

Form: Vert-Green-Heart (Ultra Burst form with Green CPU Memory)
Type: Grass/Flying
Ability: Levitate (Rotom-Fan gets it, so why not?)
Z-Move: EXE Drive: Spiral Break - Grass, Special, 200 BP | Has combined efficacy with Flying. Lowers the target's Speed. | Base: Sylhet Spear
Stats: 60/100/80/140/100/140 (+20 Atk, +10 Def, +25 SpA, +25 SpD, +20 Spe) | 620 BST

Reasoning: Well-endowed, vain, and always coveting her friends' sisters, Vert is the CPU (Console Patron Unit) of Leanbox. Leanbox is a land known for its nature, thus Grass. Vert specializes in wind attacks, although making her base form Flying-type would be inaccurate. She is also a tea enthusiast, hence Scald.
In-game, she plays the role of a speedy magic attacker with a few tools of sabotage. She is lacking in coverage compared to her peers, being limited to wind and ice, but her damage output is nothing to scoff at.

Pokémon: Uni
Type: Fire/Steel
Ability: Sniper / Skill Link
Signature Moves:
  • Brave Cannon - Steel-type Bone Rush variant
  • Venom Shot - Steel-type Poison Jab variant that does not make contact but is blocked by Bulletproof
  • Paralysis Shot - As above, but inflicts paralysis instead of poison
  • High Grenade - Fire, Physical, 30 BP, 95% Acc, 10 PP | Hits 2-4 times. Blocked by Bulletproof.
  • Volcano Bullet - Fire-type special Rock Blast variant
  • Icicle Bullet - As above, but Ice-type
  • Multi Support - Steel, Other, 15 PP | Raises the Attack, Defense, and Speed of the user or an adjacent ally.
Other Moves: Pyro Ball, Magnet Bomb, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Flash Cannon, Seed Bomb, Bullet Seed, Rock Blast, Pin Missile, Spike Cannon, Barrage, Aura Sphere, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Air Slash, Lock-On, Agility, String Shot, Teleport
Stats: 80/100/90/70/70/90 | 500 BST

Form: Uni-Black-Sister (Ultra Burst form with Black Candidate Memory)
Ability: Levitate
Z-Move: EXE Drive: NGP - Steel, Physical, 210 BP | Has combined efficacy with Fire. (Does not trigger Flash Fire.) | Base: Brave Cannon
Stats: 80/120/105/90/80/125 (+20 Atk, +15 Def, +20 SpA, +10 SpD, +35 Spe) | 600 BST

Reasoning: A perfectionist firearm geek, Uni is the CPU (Console Patron Unit) Candidate of Lastation. She specializes in fire attacks, and Lastation is a land known for its industry, hence Fire/Steel. She is evidently a Sniper, and she has her fair share of rapid-fire attacks, thus Skill Link.
In-game, she plays the role of a ranged attacker, and Megadimension Neptunia VII gave her a handy boosting move in Multi Support. Her movepool reflects her weaponry and her in-game skill set. (That's why she has so many signature moves.)

Pokémon: Demigod of Rock
Type: Rock/Electric
Ability: Solid Rock / Punk Rock
Signature Move: Rock Out - Rock, Special, 90 BP, 95% Acc, 10 PP | Sound move.
Other Moves: Accelerock, Rock Blast, Rock Climb, Rock Polish, Rock Slide, Rock Smash, Rock Throw, Rock Tomb, Rock Wrecker, Stealth Rock, Metal Sound, Metal Burst, Iron Head, Overdrive, Boomburst, Hyper Voice, Uproar, Roar, Screech, Sacred Fire, Parting Shot, Extreme Speed, Magma Storm, Dragon Dance, Destiny Bond, Sand Tomb, Gunk Shot, Taunt, Toxic, Sticky Web, Judgment, Close Combat, Wild Charge, Perish Song
Z-Move: Scourge Dropkick - Rock, Physical, 185 BP | Deals super-effective damage to Steel-types. | Base: Rock Slide | Z-Crystal: Guitarium Z
Stats: 100/100/100/100/100/100 | 600 BST
Reasoning: Considering he is a deity of rock, he has "Rock" in his typing, Abilities, moves, and signature move. The half-god aspect of him inspired the 100-all-around base stats, and his Electric typing relates to Overdrive and how rock music is usually associated with electric guitars. His preferred songs are metal (ironically) and he lives for music, hence the connection with "Metal" moves and sound moves. Iron Head is for the helmet that he wears. Z-Move is based on the final sequence of the game's Quest Mode where he finishes off a mechanical monster while Sudden Death is played. The rest of the moves relate to the songs in his post-game tier (and partly the artists thereof).
Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants: Sacred Fire | The Dillinger Escape Plan: Parting Shot
Speeding (Vault Version): Extreme Speed
Fury of the Storm: Magma Storm | DragonForce: Dragon Dance
Nemesis | Arch Enemy: Destiny Bond
Deadfall: Sand Tomb | Snot: Gunk Shot
If You Want Peace... Prepare for War: Taunt
Chemical Warfare: Toxic
Black Widow of La Porte: Sticky Web
Holy Wars... The Punishment Due: Judgment
This Day We Fight: Close Combat, Wild Charge
Sudden Death | Megadeth: Perish Song

The image above is the out-of-battle form of Larva Airy, like Xerneas' Neutral Mode.

Pokémon: Larva Airy (Eviolite compatible)
Type: Bug/Poison
Ability: Merciless
Signature Move: Slaughter - Bug, Physical, 100 BP, 90% Acc, 10 PP | Targets all adjacent foes. 30% chance to inflict poison on each target.
Other Moves: Infestation, Thunder Wave, Fake Out, Steamroller, First Impression, Play Rough, Gunk Shot, Sludge Wave, Bug Buzz, Toxic, Hex, Venoshock, Spiky Shield
Stats: 88/111/75/66/100/70 | 510 BST

Evolution: Pupa Airy (Level 50 evolution)
Ability: Sheer Force
Signature Move: Acedia - Dark, Other, 5 PP | Clears all opponents' stat boosts and volatile status conditions. Sets up a four-turn field effect that causes opponent-hitting attacks to deal super-effective damage. (Immunities are not ignored.)
Other Added Moves: Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Hurricane, Earth Power, Dark Pulse, Attract, Taunt, Torment, Recover
Stats: 88/111/75/138/100/88 | 600 BST

Form: Ultimate Airy (Ultra Burst form with Slain Heroes of Light)
Ability: Wicked Flight - (hard-coded) Ultimate Airy deals guaranteed critical hits to targets with non-volatile status conditions. In addition, she gains a 1.5* boost to Fire-type attacks and the effects of Sheer Force without the absence of secondary effects.
Z-Move: Zeta Flare - Fire, Special, 210 BP | Hits all foes. | Base: Fire Blast
Stats: 88/125/75/160/121/131 (+14 Atk, +22 SpA, +21 SpD, +43 Spe) | 700 BST

Reasoning: Airy pretends to be a traveling companion for the warriors of light, when in reality she serves as the vice antagonist of Bravely Default (the true antagonist being Ouroboros). She is Bug/Poison because in-game she is classified as a bug, weak to fire, capable of poisoning her opponents, and unable to be poisoned. Her stat line and movepool are mostly derived from her in-game statistics, with a key exception in Bug Buzz. In her larva form, she likes to inflict poison and capitalize on it with extra damage, thus Merciless. Her other forms are more magically oriented, so they gain Sheer Force effects. The Ability Wicked Flight is named after the theme song of her final form, and its three-pronged effect is inspired by her Plague and Zeta Flare skills.

Magmajudis

Title pending
bats_and_nightmares_by_neocyania_d9o0vj8-250t.jpg

Pokemon: Antasma X
Typing: Dark-Psychic
Stats: 105-80-105-150-105-125 (BST: 670)
Ability: Bad Dreams
Movepool: Echoed Voice, Nightmare, Hypnosis, Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Pursuit, Fly, Flamethrower, Leech Life, Recover, Nasty Plot, Dream Eater, Nightmare, Dual Wingbeat, Brave Bird, Psychic

Description: Echoed Voice is for that one scene where he uses his voice to fight the bros with Bowser, there's a lot of Sleep Moves, Sadow Ball, Pursuit and Flamthrower references some of it's attack, Leech Life represents when he steal Luigi, Nasty Plot is obvious, Fly is for the fact he flies, Dual Wingbeat and Brave Bird are for the Bat Swarm attack.

Also would be Ubers obviously

Wow, G-Luke plays Plants vs Zombies
And you know I have to sub this. It's my freaking username.

(WARNING: LONG POST!)

1608394928393.png
1608394941890.png

Pokémon: Shadow Peashooter
Franchise/Origin: PvZ2
Type: Ghost/Poison
Ability: Spirit Drown (When this Pokemon reaches 30% HP or lower, activated Destiny Bond on the Pokemon. This effect lasts one turn as always but can be reactivated if this Pokemon heals back up and gets under the benchmark again.)
Notable moves: Quiver Dance, Energy Ball, Ice Beam, Dark Pulse, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power, Shadow Ball, Camouflage, Phantom Force, Detect, Bullet Seed, Night Daze, Spirit Flame, Destiny Bond, Shadow Sneak
Signature move: Shadow Stream | Ghost | 85 BP | Special | 100% accuracy | 100% chance to lower target's speed by 1 | Hits multiple opponents in doubles | 15 or 16 PP
Stats: 70/66/55/136/100/113
Reasoning: Soo, this guy is what I named my Smogon account after, because I love this thing. Shadow Peashooter is in the Conceal-Mint family in PvZ2, thereby being a shadow plant and warranting a Ghost-typing. Poison because it inflicts a slowing status ailment on the targets when powered. When a zombie gets near Shadow Peashooter, it sinks into the floor, waiting for its target. When a zombie steps over it, it pulls the zombie into the ground, killing both it and Shadow Peashooter. This gives Shadow Peashooter the ability Spirit Drown, which threatens to kill its attacker when weak. Shadow Peashooter also has the signature move Shadow Stream, which comes from Shadow Peashooter’s powered mode in PvZ2 (non-powered attacks are easily represented by Shadow Ball). It also slows the target down as it does ingame, and I made the BP kinda ehh because, well, speed is much more important in Pokemon than PvZ2. Stat-spreading… uh, low HP because this guy does not have tons of HP in game, low Atk and Def because it has no melee power and no means to defend itself up-close besides sacrificing itself to take out a zombie, high SpA because of its good power, and good SpD because he can slow zombies down, which is actually a great forme of defense in-game. Finally, Speed. With PvZ plants I find it tricky, as 99% of them just sit there and attack stuff. However, Shadow Peashooter is associated with shadows, and shadows are usually fast in this game (see: Gengar, Marshadow), so it’s kinda justified. On top of that, the Chinese almanac description says that it is a shadow, so yeah. Semi-high speed it is.

Nasty Plot: Do not need to explain.
Energy Ball: It shoots shadow peas and energy beams. Also, it’s a plant, which is deserving of a grass-type special move.
Ice Beam, Dark Pulse, Hyper Beam: Shoots shadowy beams. Ice and Hyper Beam can make sense, but Charge Beam does not, so I only added Ice and Hyper.
Sludge Bomb: Shadow peas.
Earth Power: It conveys how it hides in the earth.
Shadow Ball: DUH.
Camouflage: The earth-hide-thing.
Phantom Force, Shadow Force: It’s literally a shadow. Also I think the Ghost typing warrants Phantom Force (not like it will be using it).
Detect: It detects zombies coming towards it, then hides underground.
Bullet Seed: Haha
Night Daze: It’s a shadow plant. In other words, it’s a creature of night and shadows.
Spirit Flame: Its plant food effect is called the spirit bomb.
Destiny Bond: It pulls zombies in the earth, killing both the zombie and itself.
Shadow Sneak: Duh
Ingrain: Plant
Synthesis: Most PvZ plants need sun to produce, and Shadow Peashooter is no exception.
A bunch of Normal moves: It’s a Pokemon. What do you expect?

And some more subs:
1608395064407.png

Pokémon: Melon Pult
Franchise/Origin: PvZ / PvZ2
Type: Grass
Ability: Sheer Force | Leaf Guard
Notable moves: Seed Bomb, Stone Edge, Focus Blast, Earthquake, Magnitude, Vine Whip, Superpower, Rollout, Storm Throw, Gyro Ball, Barrage, Ingrain
Signature move: Melon Shot | Grass | Physical | 110 BP | 90% Accuracy | Hits multiple targets in Doubles | No additional effect
Stats: 100/141/100/50/74/30
1608395136522.png

Pokémon: Winter Melon
Franchise/Origin: PvZ2
Type: Grass/Ice
Ability: Frost Shot (This Pokemon’s ballistic moves turns physical and reduces opponent’s speed by 1) | Leaf Guard
Notable moves: Seed Bomb, Stone Edge, Focus Blast, Earthquake, Magnitude, Vine Whip, Superpower, Rollout, Storm Throw, Gyro Ball,Barrage, Ice Ball, Icy Wind, Ice Shard, Icicle Crash, Ingrain
Signature move: Melon Shot | Ice (Winter Melon only. All other Pokemon using this move will have it be Grass-type) | Physical | 110 BP | 90% accuracy | 10% chance to freeze target (Winter Melon Only) | Hits multiple targets in Doubles | 8 PP
Stats: 105/166/110/65/91/63

Reasoning (for both): Melon-pult and Winter Melon are both plants that throw melons at zombies, dealing great damage with some splash. Their typings are… do I even need to explain? Melon-pult has Sheer Force because he is very, very strong, expressed both in the comics and in the game (chucking watermelons repeatedly like it was nothing probably means it’s not weak, don’t you think?). I almost gave Winter Melon this ability as well, until I noticed that Sheer Force Melon Shot on Winter Melon might be too good. Speaking of Melon Shot, it is the family’s signature move. High BP because it is indeed powerful in-game, 90% accuracy because they occasionally miss in-game, and hits multiple targets in doubles/triples because it is a splash attack in-game. Winter Melon has it be Ice-typed because it throws frozen melons that chills zombies, slowing them down and saving it from being Glastrier 2.0. Winter Melon’s ability is how I interpreted its selling point in-game: mass slowing. It also has a 10% chance to freeze, because in the Chinese version, when upgraded, it actually does have a chance to freeze a zombie. Good HP for both versions because for some reason in Pokemon, the fatter you are, the more HP you have (Snorlax, Lanturn, Chansey, etc). High attack stat because they hit hard in-game, decent defense because… they are melons. Melons are hard to break. Low speed because they are melons. Leaf Guard is purely for flavor.
Seed Bomb: haha
Stone Edge: Complementary coverage. Also, it throws stuff. Also, like half of the game learns Stone Edge some way or other.
Focus Blast: It is very, very good at blasting stuff into bits. Melons do miss, though.
Earthquake, Magnitude: It’s heavy. Heavy things pound the earth to use this move. How else do you think Celesteela or Tangrowth know this?
Vine Whip, Power Whip: It gets vines.
Superpower: Chucking melons over and over again seems like super-strength to me.
Ingrain: Plant.
Rollout: It’s round, therefore it can roll.
Storm Throw: Throw
Gyro Ball: It’s round, therefore it can spin.
Barrage: lol
A bunch of normal moves: It’s a Pokemon
Winter Melon (NOTE: All of Melon-Pult's moves are avaliable to Winter Melon. Same with other subs)
Ice Ball: Ice-type Rollout
Icy Wind, Ice Beam, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Icicle Spear: Just giving it ice moves cuz it’s ice type. Also, Winter Melon has icicles on it.

"Completely fearless... until leaving his basement.
Net denizen who is famous for flaming.
Uber Long Distance attack specialist."

Pokémon: Nerd Cat
Franchise/Origin: The Battle Cats
Type: Steel/Normal
Ability: Technician / Hacker | No Guard (HA)
Notable moves: Ice Hammer, Wood Hammer, Dragon Hammer, Smart Strike, Mirror Shot, Flamethrower, Burning Jealousy, Techno Blast, Trick Room, Flash Cannon, Flash
Signature move: None (yet)
Signature ability: Hacker: non-contact moves ignores protecting moves, Endure, screens, Substitute, Sturdy, and Focus Sash. In other words, non-contact moves always does the damage it’s supposed to regardless of items, abilities, or field effects.
Stats: 30/90/14/11/70/10 (225 BST)
Reasoning: Nerd Cat is a Super Rare cat that you can get in a Rare Cat Capsule (like half of the cats in the game). It attacks with a hammer. His ability, Hacker, allows him to breach enemy defenses to steal their credit card numbers, passwords, and Pokemon Showdown alts (I know, unacceptable). Technician because… duh. No Guard was given because, in the game, he is a Long Distance unit, which means that anything that gets close enough cannot be hit by him. However, his blind spot is so huge that it is easy for any enemies that can survive the hammerblow to get into his blind spot. It actually has one of the largest blind spots in the game. This also explains its garbage defense stat and. Finally, he is a cat that is stuck on his computer all day and only attacks with a hammer, so he has trashy SpA and Speed stats (it literally has 4 speed in-game, so I’m being generous here). However, he must have nice firewalls and virtual defenses, so he gets a half-decent SpD that will be buffed later on.

"Famous for making Big Red Buttons.

Pokémon: Hacker Cat
Franchise/Origin: The Battle Cats
Type: Steel/Normal
Ability: Technician / Hacker | No Guard (HA)
Notable moves: Flamethrower, Focus Blast, Psyshock, Dark Pulse, Nasty Plot, Disable, Confusion, Curse, Techno Blast, Trick Room, Night Shade, Toxic, Trick, Flash Cannon, Flash
Signature move: Hack Attack | Steel | Special | 75 BP | 100% Accuracy | Lowers target’s SpD by 1 stage before dealing damage | 15 or 16 PP
Stats: 50/20/20/116/100/14 (320 BST)
Reasoning: Much of the same stuff, except Hacker Cat now attacks by launching a missile, so its Atk and SpA stats are kinda swapped. Still incredibly slow, has little to no defenses, and can’t do hands-on combat. Hacker Cat also has Hack Attack, which uses viruses to breach the opponent’s defenses, then attacks.
Cyberpunk.png
Cyberpunk gif.gif

"Having mastered virtual space, he's moved on
to losing his shirt in the cryptocurrency market.
Long-range area attacks slow non-Metal."

Pokémon: Cyberpunk Cat
Franchise/Origin: The Battle Cats
Type: Steel/Electric
Ability: Technician / Hacker | Levitate
Notable moves: Hack Attack, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Focus Blast, Psyshock, Dark Pulse, Thunderbolt, Nasty Plot, Reflect, Light Screen, Disable, Confusion, Curse, Techno Blast, Trick Room, Shock Wave, Discharge, Zap Cannon, Overdrive, Night Shade, Toxic, Trick, Flash Cannon, Flash
Signature move: Cyberclast | Electric | Special | 120 BP | 90% Accuracy | Has 30% chance of lowering target’s Spe by 1 stage | 5 or 8 PP
Stats: 70/40/80/148/126/81 (545 BST)
Reasoning: Firstly, Cyberpunk Cat gets a nice, floating pod for evolving, so it gets actual Defense, Electric typing, and Levitate and loses No Guard. Still have horrible Atk though. It also no longer lives on his desk, having a floating pod to move around on, so he gets decent speed. Cyberblast is my adaptation of his laser blast, which deals massive damage (although if you saw the animation it should be fairly obvious) and also has a chance of lowering speed. Cyberpunk Cat actually has a 100% chance of slowing non-metal enemies ingame, but it will be too OP here. I can give it a chance to paralyze, though.
Ice Hammer, Wood Hammer, Dragon Hammer: Nerd Cat + Hammer
Nasty Plot: Obviously an evil genius.
Smart Strike: Big brain
Mirror Shot: Computer
Flamethrower, Burning Jealousy: “Net denizen who is famous for flaming”
Overheat: Computers overheat.
Techno Blast: Do I even need to explain?
Flash Cannon, Flash: Computer. Also RIP Adobe Flash Player.
Trick Room: Technology stuff often gets this move (Porygon, Metagross, etc)
Psyshock: The guy so smart he shocks people.
Trick: Do I even need to explain?
Confusion: His glasses.
A bunch of normal moves: It’s a Pokemon.

Hacker Cat:
Focus Blast: It blasts stuff
Dark Pulse: He basically conjures missiles out of darkness.
Disable: He can and will disable your Showdown accounts.
Curse: He curses when he fails in his attempts to steal accounts or when the cops catch him.
Night Shade: Night Shade’s description says “The user makes the target see a frightening mirage”. He will make the target sees frightening image on the opposing computer, if you know what I mean.
Toxic: He is toxic

Cyberpunk Cat:
Fire Blast: Superheated laser from sky
Thunderbolt, Charge Beam: Laser. Also electric STAB.
Thunder Shock, Thunder Wave, Shock Wave, Discharge, Zap Cannon, Ion Deluge, Overdrive: Complementary electric moves with various degrees of justification.
Reflect: He has a big glass window at the front of his pod.
Light Screen: His big glass window flows with light when he is charging up an attack
Doom Desire: "Hmm I want this snake dead." Suddenly, a laser blast from the sky completely obliterated the snake. Fun.

Bahamut gif.gif

"An ancient Cat weapon that was rumored to have caused the first apocalypse. Has unearthly offensive power (Area Attack)"

Pokémon: Bahamut Cat
Franchise/Origin: The Battle Cats
Type: Dragon/Dark
Ability: Crazed Destruction (turns into Crazed Bahamut Cat when it gets a KO) | Levitate (HA) (Crazed Destruction might have to be Uber only)
Notable moves: Nasty Plot, Dragon Energy, Draco Meteor, Outrage, Dragon Claw, Fiery Wrath, Superpower, Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, Inferno, Dual Wingbeat, Wing Attack, Fly, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Earthquake, Earth Power, Hurricane, Hyperspace Hole, Rock Slide, Roost
Signature move: Shadow Flare | Dragon | Special | 130 BP | 90% Accuracy | Physical if Atk is higher than SpA | Contact if Physical | 5 or 8 PP
Stats: 70/80/90/145/95/70 (580 BST) Regular legend level
Reasoning: Soo… Bahamut. Bahamut Cat is a cat you get after beating the first main chapter, Empire of Cats. Often, it is the first super-powerful cat a player gets, and its stats reflect that (in game it is pretty slow though). Shadow Flare, its signature move, was named Shadow Flare has high BP because… just look at that animation. Besides, the official description says that it has unearthly power. Crazed Destruction will be explained below. Dragon typing because, just look at it. Dark typing because it was believed to have destroyed the world, and it also has a dark-themed attack. Bahamut is honestly a nuke, both in-game and here.
1608395462049.png
Crazy Bahamut gif.gif

"Turns out the first apocalypse was actually caused by this one. You can see why... Has unearthly offensive power (Area Attack)"

Pokémon: Crazed Bahamut Cat
Type: Dragon/Dark
Ability: Crazed Destruction
Stats: 80/120/100/170/100/70 (640 BST) Cover legend level
Reasoning: In-game, Crazed Bahamut Cat is actually the evolved form of Bahamut Cat. However, I have chosen to make them the same Pokemon, as Crazed Bahamut Cat in-game is just a bigger, badder, and darker Bahamut Cat (reflected by stats). So here, it becomes Crazed when it kills something, kinda like Ash-Greninja, because many things become crazed from killing. Also, in Pokemon, when you take out an opposing Pokemon you get XP, and Bahamut needs enough XP to become crazed in-game. Finally, making Crazed Bahamut an evolution of Bahamut would mean Bahamut gets to use Eviolite, which… no, just no.

AwakendBahamutGIF.gif

"They say the power to obliterate Earth is already his. Freed of the suit which shackled his power, his power and speed is unmatched (Area Attack)"

Bahamur Cat Forme:
Pokémon: Awakened Bahamut Cat
Franchise/Origin: The Battle Cats
Type: Dragon/Dark
Ability: Obliterator (Every time this Pokemon gets a KO, it takes away 20% HP from the Pokemon that comes in after) | Levitate (HA)
Notable moves: Dragon Dance, Dragon Energy, Draco Meteor, Outrage, Dragon Claw, Dragon Rush, Fire Punch, Shadow Punch, Dynamic Punch, Superpower, Closed Combat, Dual Chop, Fiery Wrath, Shadow Ball, Inferno, Blue Flare, Focus Blast, Dual Wingbeat, Wing Attack, Fury Swipes, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz, Wild Charge, Shadow Claw, Darkest Lariat, Rock Slide, Earthquake, Hyperspace Fury, Roost
Signature move: Shadow Flare | Dragon | Special | 130 BP | 90% Accuracy | Physical if Atk is higher than SpA | Contact if Physical | 5 or 8 PP
Stats: 70/186/81/105/85/143 (670 BST) Cover legend forme level (FOR UBERS ONLY)
Reasoning: And now, Awakened Bahamut Cat, the True Form of Bahamut Cat. This thing is an absolute powerhouse. Frankly, it is more than deserving of the stat spread it received, but I will explain it anyway. HP is the same as Bahamut. 186 Atk should make perfect sense if you looked at the animation, and I have no doubt that it is stronger than Zacian or Mega Heracross (MMX is supposed to be the strongest Pokemon created, so it's weaker than that). For concrete proof, though, Awakened Bahamut Cat has the highest DPS (damage per second) in the entire game out of all the friendly units (without talents, buffs, etc.). So, of course it gets an insane attack stat, and of course it has an insane BST. It also has blistering speed. For reference, in-game, Awakened Bahamut has 60 speed, while the fastest cat has 85, while the second fastest has 75. Awakened Bahamut is incredibly fast, which is why it gets an incredibly high 143 speed. It is frail (for a unit as powerful as him) in the game, so it has bad physical bulk (by Uber standards) and mediocre special bulk. Finally, as the animation shows, Shadow Flare is still justified on him, both conceptually and competitively.
Nasty Plot: A destroyer of worlds should have this move, I think.
Draco Meteor: Mandatory move for all Dragon-types
Outrage, Dragon Claw, Dragon Rush, Dragon Rage, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Dance: Just some Dragon moves.
Swords Dance: Pokemon logic: if it is pointy it gets Swords Dance
Fiery Wrath, Fire Blast, Flamethrower: Big ball of raging dragon fire.
Dark Pulse: Big fat MEGA DUH.
Superpower: Yeaah this one is kinda obvious
Shadow Ball: Ball
Focus Blast: He focuses to make that big fat ball, then blasts stuff with it.
Inferno, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Earth Power, Hurricane: Destroyer of worlds
Dual Wingbeat, Fly, Wing Attack, Roost: It have wings
Hyperspace Hole: That ball thing kinda resembles Hyperspace Hole.
A bunch of random normal-type moves: Because it is a Pokemon

Awakened Bahamut Cat:
Dual Chop: He actually chops three times in a row, but good enough
Fire Punch: Duh
Shadow Punch, Shadow Claw: He punches with dark fire.
Dynamic Punch: Yeah I’m not gonna bother with this one
Close Combat: In the game, he often just rushes in and deals massive damage before dying quickly.
Blue Flare: Blue fire. But he won’t be using it, and Bahamut/Crazed Bahamut does not get it.
Fury Swipes: Duh
Flare Blitz: Charges in… with fire! He still often kills himself in the process though
Wild Charge: I think you get the idea by now
Darkest Lariat: “The user swings both of its arms to attack the target”. That’s nice, And Awakened Bahamut is Dark-typed too. Perfect!
Bite, Crunch: He does not use hit teeth, but they definitely look like they can do some serious damage.

I was told to resub this

[Waddle Dees are/were] so popular with the team we ended up putting them in similar roles in other parts of the game too - for example, manning the Lollipop Tank or building the giant bonfire that you extinguish using the water bowl.
Pokémon: Lollipop Tank
Origin: Kirby: Triple Deluxe
Type: Fairy
Ability: Sweet Veil / Long Reach
Stats: 90/110/115/55/115/65 (550)
Notable Moves: Candy Cannon*, Rock Smash, Rock Blast, Rock Wrecker, Steel Roller, Heavy Slam, Rapid Spin, Gyro Ball, Aromatherapy, Sweet Scent
*Candy Cannon: Physical Fairy, 120 BP, 90% Accuracy, 5/8 PP. No additional effect. Ballistic.
Reasoning: Just... a tank, but with more candy (and piloted by a Waddle Dee). Like Slurpuff and Alcremie, who are also sweets-based, it's Fairy-type and has both Aromatherapy and Sweet Scent. Candy Cannon is there because it needed some sort of physical Fairy STAB, and there's not much in the way of Fairy moves that represent shooting candy at people. Rock Blast and Rock Wrecker because a giant jawbreaker is *basically* the same thing as a boulder, except arguably tastier. Rock Smash and Steel Roller because it can crush blocks by rolling over them. Heavy Slam because it can also crush blocks when falling to its doom. Rapid Spin and Gyro Ball because its treads have wheels in them that spin fast, and Carkoal gets Rapid Spin and Gyro Ball. Its speed is just a bit below Kirby's, and its Special Attack is low because it only attacks with cannonballs and massive weight.

We have Zote, so how bout another HK character?

Pokémon: Mantis Lord
Franchise/Origin: Hollow Knight
Type: Bug
Ability: Speed Boost (They’re fast in their boss fight)
Notable moves: X-Scissor, Poltergeist, Iron Head, Leaf Blade
Signature move: Nail Pierce - 80 BP 10 PP (16 max), 90% accurate. Steel-Typed. Lowers opponent’s speed by one stage.
Stats: 50/90/40/50/40/70

Reasoning: They’re just adept mantises, so pure bug makes sense. They get a lot of sword/slicing related moves to deal with all kinds of threats. Speed Boost because they get faster as the battle goes on in the Sisters of Battle fight. Speaking of Sisters of Battle...

Pokémon: Sister of Battle
Franchise/Origin: Hollow Knight
Type: Bug/Steel
Regional Variation: (Optional)
Ability: Speed Boost
Notable moves: Same as Mantis Lord
Signature move: Same as Mantis Lord
Stats: 70/110/50/60/50/90

Reasoning: It gains the Steel type because of their Steel Resolve, and gain better stats to match. The rest is the same as the pre-evo.

Once again an even more slightly updated Agent 8 resub:

Pokemon: Agent 8
Franchise:
Splatoon
Type:

Ability: Inky Surge, Corrosion

Notable Moves: Octobrush, Inky Terrain, Sludge Wave, Sludge Bomb, Gunk Shot, Clear Smog, Shell Side Arm, Baneful Bunker, Toxic Spikes, Venom Drench, Agility, Hydro Pump, Flamethrower, Acid Armour, Amnesia, Parting Shot, Taunt, Nasty Plot, universal moves such as Substitute.
Octobrush: 50 BP | 100% Accuracy |
|
| 10(16) PP | Removes Toxic Spikes from users side | Doubles damage against poisoned target | Hits opponent's physical defence (akin to Psyshock).
Inky Terrain: -- BP | --% Accuracy |
|
| 10(16) PP | Sets Inky Terrain (Electric Terrain clone)
Exclusive Z-Move: Inkjet: 100 BP | --% Accuracy |
|
| Requires Octobrush | Hits twice | Grants levitate for five turns

Stats: 86 / 78 / 63 / 123 / 82 / 108 (540 BST)

Reasoning: Agent 8 is the Octoling who fought against the Inklings for the Octarian Army but ultimately had a change of heart after hearing Fresh Beatz. This urged Agent 8 to seek life on the surface to live a life of Turf Wars in peace with the Squids as the playable character in Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion. Taking inspiration from Brodaha's Inkling sub from the first V2 slate, Agent 8 has a range of Poison-type moves at their disposal. The offensive moves come from their ink-shooting weapons while status moves come from other aspects of the game such as gear, in-game taunting the fact Agent 8 lost their memories. Corrosion is one of their abilities due to Ink from Splatoon being damaging to other 'Poison types'. I chose Octobrush to be their new signature move as it is shown in their official artwork. The Octobrush removes enemy ink and can be used in a flurry of strikes enabling it to hit twice and remove Toxic Strikes. Octobrush is a special move since it is powered by Agent 8's ink (if Agent 8 has no ink, the Octobrush does less damage) but hits the opponent's physical defence since it physically hurts when you get hit by a novelty-sized paint brush. Their Z-Move, Inkjet, is the special associated with the Octobrush. For a short period of time it allows Agent 8 to hover in the air and shoot multiple times.

Translation: Scary, Cool, Big
Pokémon: Slythe
Franchise/Origin: Monster Racers
Type: Dragon/Psychic
Ability: Poison Touch / Surge Glider / Immunity (HA)
Surge Glider - Surge Surfer for Grassy Terrain
Notable moves: Lunge, Extreme Speed, Outrage, Dragon Tail, Coil, Poison Fang, Extrasensory, Zen Headbutt, U-Turn, Grassy Glide, Ancient Power, Quick Attack, Bounce, Wing Attack, Dual Wingbeat, Agility, Twister, Gust, Last Gambit, Splash
Signature Z-move: Aztec Wind - (175 BP | Dragon | Physical | requires Outrage and Turbochargium-Z | 100% flinch chance)
Stats: 90/80/80/100/100/130 (580)
Reasoning: One of the legendary monsters in Monster Racers, Slythe is the legendary monster of South America. It is said to have brought knowledge to mankind (like Uxie). It's Dragon-type because it's a legendary snake. In Monster Racers, it has the strongest skill for racing on grass, so it gets a clone of Surge Surfer for its ability.
