Fancy text to come back soon
Congratulations to KeeganSkymin4444, Cookie Butter and Mygavolt for winning with Leif, Slythe and Kragg.

Happy New Year, everyone. This slate is a send off for the year that was. Any character that got featured in a game in 2020 is eligible for this bonus theme. They can be from a new game (such as Cyberpunk 2077, Animal Crossing, Genshin Impact), port of an older game (such as Among Us [Switch], Super Mario Sunshine, Wonderful 101), DLC (such as Super Smash Bros Ultimate), or any other content released in 2020. Here is a list with quite a few games that appeared in 2020.

Also head over to the Crossover Chaos Discord and keep an eye out for the upcoming voting for the Balance Slate (also last chance to put in your balance suggestions).

As always submissions for the current slate close in one week.
Have fun!

PHALANX silhouette.png

phalanx-png.284126
Pokémon: PHALANX (intended for Ubers)
Type: Steel/Flying
Ability: Pristine Weaponry - (hard-coded) Levitate effects + Changes the PHALANX's secondary type to match that of whatever move it uses. (If this type matches its primary type, then its secondary type is removed.)
Moves: Brave Bird, Sky Attack, Fly, Wing Attack, Sky Drop, Iron Head, Steel Wing, Metal Claw, Hurricane, Air Slash, Flash Cannon, Dazzling Gleam, Spirit Break, Psyshock, Zen Headbutt, Fire Blast, Flare Blitz, Prismatic Laser, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Ice Beam, Icicle Crash, Discharge, Wild Charge, Energy Ball, Power Whip, Heat Wave, Attack Order, Signal Beam, Super Fang, Hyper Fang, Sticky Web, Defog
Z-Move: Flaming Feather Flurry - Fire, Special, 190 BP | Has combined efficacy with Flying (just like Flying Press). Functions like Defog. Sets up G-Max Wildfire effect. | Requires Heat Wave and Bifangium Z
Stats: 200/140/50/140/50/100 | 680 BST
Reasoning: This is the ultimate enemy (not to say the final boss) of the game, as it can only be fought if Gail has maximum HP and energy. It naturally has the biggest health pool and deals the most damage of any boss, yet its defenses are relatively ordinary. It possesses Steel and Flying typing and moves because it's an automaton shaped like a bird. Pristine Weaponry is named after Pristine City, the residential area beneath its abode, and relates to its core changing color as it executes different attacks. Speaking of which, its arsenal is vast, so its coverage is also.
  • Purple core attack (Psychic): Fires three spherical, purple, homing projectiles at a time
  • Red core attack (Fire): Fires a chevron of glowing red projectiles
  • Blue core attack (Ice): Fires a homing blue projectile that defragments in eight directions
  • Green core attack (Grass): Fires three glowing green projectiles that pause before homing in
  • Yellow core attack (Electric): Surrounds itself with orbiting electrified orbs
  • Other attacks (gray core): Can cause fragmented stellar projectiles to fall from the ceiling (Fairy coverage), fire a rotating X-shaped rainbow laser (Prismatic Laser, Hyper Beam, Flash Cannon), attract and spew out everything around it with a black hole (Sky Drop), generate a heat wave with a swarm of deadly glowing feathers (Heat Wave, Z-Move, Defog), or drop a nest of hornet-like creatures and binding silk (Bug coverage, Sticky Web)
The name of its Z-Crystal is derived from its nickname: Bi-Fang, which brings Super Fang and Hyper Fang to mind. Charging at the screen is grounds for Iron Head.
Neptunia re★Verse, a PS5 re-remake of Hyperdimension Neptunia, was released in Japan on December 17, 2020.
vert-png.284127

Pokémon: Vert
Type: Grass
Ability: Kinestra Winds (another Flying-type Steelworker variant)
Signature Moves:
  • Sylhet Spear - Grass, Special, 85 BP, 100% Acc, 15 PP | Has a 30% chance to disable the target's last used move.
  • Kinestra Slash - Flying, Special, 120 BP, 75% Acc, 5 PP | Targets all adjacent foes. 20% chance to lower each target's Speed.
Other Moves: Hurricane, Air Slash, Drill Peck, Energy Ball, Power Whip, Leaf Blade, Bullet Seed, Ice Beam, Sludge Bomb, Aura Sphere, Scald, Body Slam, Slash, Fury Attack, Smart Strike, Nasty Plot, Agility, Cotton Spore, Teleport
Stats: 60/80/70/115/75/120 | 520 BST

green-png.284128

Form: Vert-Green-Heart (Ultra Burst form with Green CPU Memory)
Type: Grass/Flying
Ability: Levitate
Z-Move: EXE Drive: Spiral Break - Grass, Special, 200 BP | Has combined efficacy with Flying. Lowers the target's Speed. | Base: Sylhet Spear
Stats: 60/100/80/140/100/140 (+20 Atk, +10 Def, +25 SpA, +25 SpD, +20 Spe) | 620 BST

Reasoning: Well-endowed, vain, and always coveting her friends' sisters, Vert is the CPU (Console Patron Unit) of Leanbox. Leanbox is a land known for its nature, thus Grass. Vert specializes in wind attacks, although making her base form Flying-type would be inaccurate. She is also a tea enthusiast, hence Scald. (Levitate in HDD is consistent with Iris Heart, and Rotom-Fan gets it, so why not?)
In-game, she plays the role of a speedy magic attacker with a few tools of sabotage. She is lacking in coverage compared to her peers, being limited to wind and ice, but her damage output is nothing to scoff at.
Octopath Traveler was ported to Stadia on April 28, 2020. (The provided link enlightened me of that.)
a76.jpg

Pokémon: Alfyn
Type: Poison/Ice
Ability: Wonder Skin / Heightened Healing*
*The user, when regaining HP or PP, regains 1.3* the norm. (e.g. Recover heals 65%, Leppa Berry restores 13 PP, and Leftovers restore 13/160 (roughly 8%) HP per turn, but Wish does not heal extra if the recipient does not have Heightened Healing)
Signature Moves:
  • Amputation - Poison, Physical, 95 BP, 100% Acc, 15 PP | Non-contact.
  • Last Stand - non-contact, 10 PP Reversal variant that targets all adjacent foes
  • Flaming Cloud - Fire, Special, 10 BP, 100% Acc, 20 PP | Hits all adjacent foes twice, with each hit having a 20% chance to poison.
  • Freezing Cloud - as above but Ice-type and sleep-inducing
  • Luminous Cloud - as above but Fairy-type and confusion-inducing
  • Gusting Cloud - as above but Flying-type and Defense-lowering
  • Shocking Cloud - as above but Electric-type and Special Defense-lowering
  • Shadow Cloud - as above but Dark-type and Speed-lowering
  • Gusting Incense - as above but Flying-type and evasion-lowering
  • Bizarre Incense - Dark, Special, 30 BP, 10 PP | Clear Smog variant that targets all adjacent foes
  • Nameless Panacea - Normal, Other, 10 PP | Aqua Ring variant that targets the user's side
Other Moves: Axe Strike (from Camilla), Slash, Ice Beam, Ice Shard, Acid Spray, Pollen Puff, Toxic, Recover, Refresh, Wish, Heal Pulse, Purify, Safeguard, Life Dew, Aromatherapy, Protect, Quash, After You
Stats: 100/100/100/70/100/70 | 540 BST
Reasoning: Representative of the Apothecary Job in Octopath Traveler. Apothecaries have a means of poisoning (Toxic) and an Ice spell (Ice Beam) at their disposal and fight with axes (Axe Strike, Slash). They are also capable healers (Recover, Refresh, Wish, Heal Pulse, Purify, Safeguard) with niche support skills in Resist Ailments (Wonder Skin) and Heightened Healing. Alfyn in particular boasts a Talent called Concoct, a means of aiding allies and harming foes, explaining the rest of his movepool.

Melia2.png

Succumb to the power of earth!
Pokemon: Melia
Franchise:
Xenoblade Chronicles
Type:
psychic.gif

Ability: Queenly Majesty
Notable Moves: Elemental Burst, Psychic, Psyshock, Stored Power, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Aqua Ring, Surf, Air Slash, Agility, Earth Power, Sludge Wave, Counter, Mirror Coat, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Copy Cat, Mean Look, Hypnosis, High Jump Kick, Pain Split, Calm Mind, Roost, universal moves such as Substitute.
Signature Move: Element Burst |
psychic.gif
|
special.png
| 80+ BP | Non-contact | This move's power increases if the user has used other moves prior (no other moves: 80 BP, one other move: 100 BP, two other moves: 120 BP, three other moves: 140 BP). Power resets if switched out.

Stats: 73/ 54 / 51 / 139 / 111 / 90 (528 BST)

Reasoning: Melia Antiqua is a High Entian princess (and eventual empress, hence Queenly Majesty). She harnesses the power of ether to help Shulk defeat the Mechon, save the world and all of the typical jRPG shenanigans. Her in-game arts translate very easily into the context of Pokemon: she summons a variety of elements to give herself and her party buffs and then unleashes those elements as an attack. All of her status moves are also easily transferable. Just for completion's sake, here is a list of her arts. It should be easy to see what art matches with each of the above moves. Oh and Roost because she's a bird lady. Her signature move, Element Burst, is more of an interpretation of her unique talent art and overall gameplay. Each time Melia summons an element her talent gauge increases and when full she can use Element Burst which increases the power of her arts. Her stats are balanced roughly compared to other Xenoblade subs as well in relation to the party's stats in game.

Plasm_wraith (1).png

Pikmin 3 Deluxe was realeased on Nintendo Switch the 30 October 2020
maxresdefault.jpg
Pokémon
: Plasm Wraith (Mysterious Life-Form)
Franchise/Origin: Pikmin
Type: ???
Ability: Chase (When entering the field for the first time, puts the "Prey" status on the opponent. This status cannot be removed. Any Pokemon with this ability will never miss against a a Pokemon with the status Prey.
Moves: Rapid Spin, Hydro Pump, Liquidation, Fire Blast, Fire Charge, Thunderbolt, Wild Charge, Ice Beam, Icicle Crash, Smart Strike, Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, Fly, Plasm Cube, Universal Moves
Signature Move: Plasm Cube (110 BP, 90Acc, Special, become of the type that deals the most damage to the opponent between Water, Fire, Ice and Electric. If the highest damage is a tie between multiple types, chose at random between them.
Stats: 150-110-125-110-125-50 (670 BST)

Reasoning: The ability represents it's obsession with Olimar, and the chase that happens in the Oak before the fight against it. The movepool is there because of the other Form. The very defensive stat spread is mostly because of the fact it's basically unkillable when it chases you.

When holding the item "Olimar":

Plasm_wraith (1).png

Pokémon: Plasm Wraith
Franchise/Origin: Pikmin
Type: ???
Ability: Plasm Loss (For each hit this Pokemon takes, raises speed by one stage. Every two turn this Pokemon is on the field, heals 30% of health for every speed boost it has, and erases the speed boosts. The healing occurs before the boost.)
Moves: Same as the other form.
Signature Move: Same as the other form.
Stats: 150-170-100-170-100-100 (770 BST)

Reasoning: The ability represents the way to damage it in the game, it will spout plasma when getting hit, and becomes smaller and faster the less plasma it has. It can also eat back all the plasma on the field, which heals it and give it back side and speed. It's movepool represents:
-It's attack where it stabs Pikmin
-It's Attack where it flies and stabs Pikmin
-It's Attack where it shoots Plasm Cuves that will then Attack with Fire, Water, Electricity or Crystal. This is represented here by it's signature Move and part of it's movepool.
-The fact it has a pretty selfish plan (which is to maintain Olimar with it at all costs).
It has a corresponding special Move for each physical move here (the opposite is also true), because it had to be a moxed attacker and i didn't want for one of them to be much weakest then the other. It's typing represents the fact we still don't know what that thing is. The stat spread represents it's offensive nature once it gained back Olimar. It also has a big HP because it has a lot of them in the original game.

Kiara's Summer version came after her sub won earlier this year in 2020.
Pokémon: Kiara Sesshouin-Summer
Franchise/Origin: Fate/Grand Order
Typing: Water/Fairy
Ability: Shell Armor/Sturdy/Illusion
Moves: Water Gun, Water Sport, Water Pulse, Octazooka, Snipe Shot, Bubble, Bubble Beam, Aqua Tail, Dive, Clamp, Razor Shell, Shell Smash, Acid Armor, Mist, Mat Block, Stone Edge, Leech Life, Dream Eater, Double Team, Endure, Splash, Slap, Double Slap, Wake-Up Slap, X-Scissor, Teleport, High Jump Kick, Mega Kick, Charm, Attract, Moonlight, Moonblast, Ancient Power, Punishment (WIP - Still analyzing what moves carry over from regular Kiara)
Stats: 115/80/95/125/95/60 (570)
Reasoning: Water because she's... well, a swimsuit version, aaaaand she absorbed multiple mythological sea creatures. Her base form is Psychic/Fairy, but Fairy is kept instead of Psychic for a couple of reasons. She's Moon Cancer class in this form and Fairy has somewhat of a connection to the moon (Moonlight, Moonblast, etc). More importantly, she's attempting to recreate fairy tales from her childhood by pretending to be a mermaid.
Shell Armor is due to having merged with (and eaten) the legendary clam monster Shen, and being able to manifest its shell. Sturdy because she's immune to instant death and immortal... Illusion because the legendary clam monster Shen is able to create mirages.
Here I'll explain some of the weirder moves:
  • Shell Smash for the same reason as Shell Armor
  • Snipe Shot because she cosplays as a cop, and shoots using her hand in the shape of a gun.
  • Octazooka because she has the Supernatural Powers (Ink) Skill.
  • Mat Block due to being able to manifest any part of the undersea palace of Ryuujin (the sea dragon god), including the tatami mat.
Xion_%28Art%29.png

Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind came out on January 2020 and Xion appears in it.
Pokemon: Xion
Franchise/Origin: Kingdom Hearts
Type: Fairy/Fighting
Ability: Illusion / Trace / Light Tamer
Light Tamer
- Increases the power of light-based moves by x1.5 (for a full list of moves, check King Boo's Dark Crown item).
Notable moves: Physical: Sacred Sword, Close Combat, Fly, U-Turn, Play Rough, Psycho Cut, Cut, Slash, Night Slash, Solar Blade, X-Scissor, Fury Cutter, Lunge
Special: Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Hurricane, Hyper Voice, Shadow Ball, Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, Stored Power, Power Gem, Signal Beam, Air Slash, Air Cutter, Prismatic Laser, Photon Geyser, Black Hole (See Zeromus)
Status: Agility, Swords Dance, Gravity, Teleport, Endure, Thunder Wave, Confuse Ray, Reflect, Light Screen, Barrier, Lock-On, Fairy Lock, Disable, Flash, Defog, Recover
Stats: 80 / 105 / 75 / 110 / 95 / 125 (590)
latest

G-Max Move: G-Max Final Break: Fairy - Applies the Nil volatile status effect, which makes the opponent's Defense and Special Defense stats equal to 1 in damage calculation, but wears off if the Pokemon is switched out or after a full turn has passed.

Reasoning:
  • Xion is Fairy/Fighting because of her light powers (KH light is closer to Fairy than Psychic), and being a Keyblade wielder. Xion also wields non-Keyblade swords (Xion has 6 different swords in total).
  • Trace comes from the fact she's a replica of Sora, and she has also copied other characters' powers, such as copying Saix's berserk mode+blue flames. Illusion is due to different characters seeing Xion as different things. "Roxas, Axel, and Riku (and presumably the rest of the Organization, except Xigbar, Xemnas, and Saix) see her as the dark-haired Kairi lookalike Xion. Before their battle, Roxas sees her as Sora. Xemnas also sees her as Sora, Xigbar sees her as Ventus, and Saïx sees her only as a faceless hooded puppet." - Kingdom Hearts wiki
  • Light Tamer comes from Sora's strong light powers, and Xion being a replica of Sora displays these powers often as well. (There's no name for this power in Kingdom Hearts, and other Keyblade wielders don't show this power, only Sora and his army of clones do, so I went with a light variant of Japanese Steelworker, Steel Tamer)
  • Xion's moves are a mix of generic slashing moves, the usual elemental Square Enix magic (fire, wind, electric, ice, heal) and light moves. The list includes some legendary sigs, but for good reason, their description matches what Xion does with her light attacks (for example Prismatic Laser comes from Xion shooting lasers out of the prism-shaped tips of her swords and shoulder tendrils, and Photon Geyser are her pillars of light). Some weirder choices include Fly, Defog and Roost from the form she grows wings, and Zeromus' Black Hole, which comes from her usage of the Corridors of Darkness as black balls.
  • Xion is very fast, especially when using the ability to turn into a ball of light. She's the fastest and most relentless of the Real Organization XIII Data bosses. Her stats are mixed offensively because she attacks with both swords and light beams (and elemental magic when she's playable).
  • Xion's Gigantamax comes from her final boss battle in 358/2 Days, where she becomes an armored Nobody the size of a large building. Her G-Max Move comes from this same boss battle, where this move inflicts the strongest status condition in the game, the Nil condition, that nulls defenses. Dynamaxing is banned so this form is thankfully Ubers by default.

In 2020, Musashi appeared in a FGO story chapter and her Summer version's event reran.
Pokémon: Musashi Miyamoto
Franchise/Origin: Fate
Typing: Fighting
Ability: Keen Eye / Prankster / Nothingness
Nothingness - x1.5 power to ???-type moves
Moves: Sacred Sword, X-Scissor, Slash, Cut, Swords Dance, Slack Off, Parting Shot, Void Slash, I Was Told There Would be Magic Sword-Busting!
Signature Moves: Void Slash (90 BP | 20 PP | ???-type | 100% Accuracy | Contact and slash-based. High crit rate.)
I Was Told There Would be Magic Sword-Busting! (120 BP | 5 PP | Fighting | 100% Accuracy | Makes the user immune to Z-Moves.)
Z-Move: A God, Cut, Defeated. (- BP | ???-type | Physical | Both user and target faint, bypassing protection and defensive abilities | must know Cut) [probably banned to AG]
Stats: 90/90/90/10/120/90 (490)

Pokémon: Musashi Miyamoto-Summer
Typing: Fighting / Water
Ability: No Guard / Prankster / Gluttony
Moves: Same as above + Liquidation, Waterfall, Scald, Brine, Stuff Cheeks, Stockpile, Swallow
Can't use the signature Z-Move
Stats: 90/130/90/60/60/90 (520)

Reasoning: Musashi does things

Well the Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion characters I'd do (READ: Specimen 2, possibly Specimen 10 resub from way back when) aren't in its DLC, most of the entities in Genshin that would make for the more interesting croissants are the bosses (Traveler would likely join them when they get all the powers they could in-game), and as far as making Seperiath into a croissant goes, his Safer form is the furthest I've gotten (note i haven't played arms nor fe:th and steve's already in so uh). Thus you're getting Risk of Rain 2 as what I'll be subbing from.
1609938713984.png

Name: Mithrix
Type: Normal
Ability: Trace
Stats: 80/140/100/100/100/80 [BST 600]
Moves: Hammer Arm, Rock Smash, Earthquake, Earth Power, Bulldoze, Pin Missile, Quick Attack, Extreme Speed, Fire Spin, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Wood Hammer, Thief, Iron Defense, Rock Slide, Mimic, Copycat, Bounce, Bludgeon (From the Phoenotopia protag (Gale/Gail))
Reasoning: Normal because his title is King of Nothing, suggesting an affinity between himself and nothingness considering his power level and the implications of him being divine in nature. He'll likely have the highest HP of any foe you'll fight in his game, but I gave him base 80 instead of something much higher because his Base HP is abysmal compared to many other bosses, so I struck a middle ground of sorts. Still, his attacks in general hit very hard and though his Speed stat is very much middle-of-the-road, he flashsteps throughout the arena and charges towards you at blinding speeds, so he gets ESpeed. His attacks mainly rely on the use of his hammer, sometimes causing a shockwave throughout the battlefield or leaving a lingering pillar of deep blue flames, maybe even causing rotating lines of those flames around him that, though harmless at first, blatantly telegraph an extremely deadly attack. Thief and Trace due to how Phase 4 starts: ALL YOUR ITEM ARE BELONG TO US.

Pokemon: Wasp King
Type: Bug/Fire
Abilities: Pressure/Kingly Majesty/Sheer Force
Signature Move: Ancient Key Saber
- Type: Steel
- Classification: Physical
- Power: 100
- Accuracy: 95
- PP: 15 (max 24)
- Effect: N/A
- Flavor: The user combines the halves of the Ancient Key to strike their foe with a devastating laser blade.
Stats: 90/120/70/120/100/100
Notable Moves: X-Scissor, Lunge, Fireball, Flame Burst, Flamethrower, Fire Lash, Eruption, Lava Plume, Power Whip, Leaf Blade, Seed Bomb, Solar Blade, Giga Drain, Ingrain, Synthesis, Axe Strike, King’s Shield, Flash Cannon, Night Slash, Outrage, Breaking Swipe, Brutal Swing, Hypnosis, Snatch, Grassy Terrain, Instruct
Overview: The big bad from Bug Fables, this mysterious usurper holds the magic of flame in his crown. Capable of throwing out fireballs, summoning pillars of flame, and even hypnosis and suggestion, this so called Wasp King became lustful for power, seeking to rule the entire kingdom of Bugaria, perhaps even beyond. His quest for power led him to steal the ancient artifacts needed to unlock the mystery of the Everlasting Sapling. He fights with powerful magic and a giant axe, brutally striking down his foes before they can even react.

Wasp King-Everlasting
If Wasp King holds the Everlasting Leaf, he will transform into Wasp King-Everlasting upon entering the battle.
Type: Bug/Fire
Ability: Everlasting (This Pokemon is immune to major status conditions. When on the field, this Pokemon brings forth a Desolate Land style version of Gen 7 Grassy Surge, which cannot be removed by other terrains and will last as long as Wasp King-Everlasting remains in. Also prevents Ground type moves from working.)
Stats: 90/135/120/130/120/105
Overview: The Wasp King consumed the last leaf of the Everlasting Sapling, becoming a vessel of all the remaining power within it. His magic combined with his newfound link to the power of nature and life makes him an incredible force to be reckoned with. Perhaps, though, the power isn’t as infinite as he had thought it would be?

Pokemon: Hole Punch
Type: Normal/Steel
Abilities: Dancer/Arena Trap/Cloud Nine
Signature Moves:
Hole Punch
- Type: Steel
- Classification: Physical
- Power: --
- Accuracy: 95
- PP: 10 (max 16)
- Effect: Halves the max HP of the foe. Does not change the % HP the foe has. Can be used up to twice on a single target for a compound total of 25% their normal max HP. Max HP is returned to normal when the target switches out, and their % HP is maintained as well.

Dance Floor Revolution
- Type: Normal
- Classification: Status
- Accuracy: --
- PP: Same as Court Change
- Effect: Clone of Court Change. Dance move.

Signature Z-Move: The Whole Punch
- Move Required: Hole Punch
- Type: Steel
- Classification: Physical
- Power: --
- Effect: Reduces the foe's current HP by 75%.
Stats: 75/85/140/55/110/105
Notable Moves: Double Edge, Body Slam, Headbutt, Double Hit, Vise Grip, Rapid Spin, Mega Punch, Dizzy Punch, Comet Punch, Iron Head, Meteor Mash, Heavy Slam, Gyro Ball, Bullet Punch, Mach Punch, Power-Up Punch, Body Press, Low Sweep, Bullet Seed, Lunge, Brutal Swing, Triple Axel, Work Up, Teeter Dance, Encore, Follow Me, Psych Up (Does not get Rest)
Overview: The Disco Devil, Hole Punch. All it wants is to dance the night away, all night long. But it just so happens to want that a little too much, to the point where it punches the sun out from the sky and captures almost an entire city of Toads (punching their faces out as well) to keep the party going! Its signature move has the same name as itself, but it serves as a reduction to the max HP of Mario by literally taking holes out of him, and here it does the same thing. Your foe maintains their percentage of health, but their total HP is lessened, with the only way to regain it being to switch out. It can run Dancer to punish setup sweepers that use Swords Dance or possibly Quiver Dance. Alternatively, it can run Cloud Nine to take on weather abusers more effectively. And, in CC Ubers, it can combine Arena Trap (it makes holes in the floor to hinder Mario's approach, so it could do something similar here) with Hole Punch (the move) to target some of the bulky stuff and take it down via reduction in their maximum HP. Encore can also be helpful in doing this. It can use Dance Floor Revolution to pressure the foe with their own hazards, or pressure their spinblocker out with Hole Punch (again, the move). Finally, you can take the foe down a few pegs with a bit more permanence using The Whole Punch, though bear in mind the foe is able to recover this damage off.

resubbing these two peoples
unknown.png
Pokémon: Perdido
Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Type: Fire/Fighting
Ability: Technician / Conflagrate (From Rimuru from CCEX and Star Breaker)
Notable moves: Sacred Sword, Smart Strike, Fell Stinger, Fury Attack, Drill Run, Slash, X-Scissor, Iron Defense, Protect, Axe Strike (From Camilla), Flamethrower, Earth Power, Overheat, Swords Dance, Fire Spin, Close Combat, Return, Brutal Swing, Night Slash, Solar Blade, Throat Chop, Machine Gun (From Austin Carter)
Stats: 50/140/95/100/50/95 [BST 530]

Reasoning: Fire because this is the blade's element, and since a Blade's element ties into the Driver's attacks (in this guy's case it's Patroka), that's Conflagrate. Fighting and Technician because of carrying not just the one Blade Weapon, but three more on top of that too. Stats show the contrast the with another Blade named Cressidus that shows up in the same fight as Perdido; Put in Nia's words, Perdido's "got weapons galore", and Cressidus "is a master of defense", though Perdido's use of a Shield Hammer (an all defense, no offense weapon) and a Chroma Katana (Another tank weapon, this one favoring agility) lead to Defense and Speed not being that bad either. Small Strike for the same reasons as Togetic, Fell Stinger, Fury Attack, and Drill Run are from the Megalance, Iron Defense and Protect from the Shield Hammer, SpA and Special Coverage because Patroka uses plenty of powerful ether-based arts using this Blade (One even lights an area on fire for plenty of time), which also courses throughout the ground. Return because of Blades being more effective the greater the affinity, SD and Sacred Sword because of the Chroma Katana, Axe Strike self-explanatory, X-Scissor because quad wielding where at least two of the weapons are bladed. Beedrill also inspired some of the moves, and the Dark-type moves make sense because of Perdido's involvement in Torna. Finally, the weapon Patroka uses in the fight (if the link between him and her in battle is any indication) is his fifth weapon: A big gun. That's Machine Gun. Penta wielding's presumably kinda difficult even for Perdido because have you tried tri-wielding, let alone with a gun that size? So he lets Patroka use his weapon.

Pokémon: Cressidus
Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Type: Rock
Ability: Iron Fist / Crystallize (Rock -ate.)
Notable moves: Thrash, Protect, Iron Defense, Stone Edge, Rock Wrecker, Explosion, Earthquake, Earth Power, Stomping Tantrum, Brutal Swing, Mega Punch, Hammer Arm, Arm Thrust, Drain Punch, Recover, Heal Pulse
Stats: 100/95/140/50/95/50 [BST 530]

Reasoning: Rock because Cressidus is an Earth Blade, Iron Fist because his weapon is two bulky gauntlets, Crystallize because his element carries over into them. Stats focus on him being a highly defensive Blade as per Nia's description, and lo and behold, his Driver's the tank when he's fought, plus his stats are Perdido's but rearranged to top off the contrast. There's fan-like structures in those gauntlets that form shield-like structures, so Protect and Iron Defense. In his fight, he uses as Blade Specials Dead Ball (Rock Wrecker, Stone Edge), Berserk March (Thrash, Stomping Tantrum, maybe Brutal Swing due to his involvement in Torna), and the highly devastating Stellar Explosion. (Explosion, Earthquake, Earth Power) He also gets healing moves and Drain Punch because in spite of being a Tank Blade, he's actually capable of party-wide healing.
and this guy from way back

He's back...with a vengeance. The darkest shadow of the strongest warrior. Sealed in the labyrinth of the mirror for aeons, this dark knight has returned with one thing on his mind... Revenge!
Pokémon: Dark Meta Knight (Can be a Regional Variant for Meta Knight)
Franchise: Kirby
Type: Steel/Dark
Abilities: Mirror Armor / Magic Bounce
Notable moves: Aerial Ace, Night Slash, Drill Run, Mirror Shot, Mirror Coat, Magic Coat, Mach Tornado (From Meta Knight), Dark Pulse, Steel Wing, Fury Cutter, Sacred Sword, Throat Chop, Double Team, Brutal Swing, Hurricane, Fly, Psycho Cut, Protect, Stone Edge, Swords Dance, Dual Wingbeat, Sucker Punch, Lash Out
Signature move: Blade Burst (Steel-type Stone Edge. Slash-based. Still not contact.)
Stats: 80/130/80/120/80/110 [BST 600] (Same as MK's, but with Attack -> SpA -> Speed -> Attack)

Reasoning: Dark because he's much more brutal and cunning than his counterpart from Kirby's world, having foregone all sense of honor in favor of pragmatism and brutality. Steel because he's covered in armor, attacks with giant metal blades protruding from mirrors, and seems to be made of mirror himself, with Mirror Shot being Steel and a good number of mirrors having some metal in them, Mirror Armor and Magic Bounce (JP: Magic Mirror) also tying into this. He can make a Mach Tornado that sweeps the screen in his Dedede Tour boss fight, as well as making false clones of himself and even attacking with a dark sword beam if he's full on health. (Dark Pulse is still operational below full because most Dark-types get that.) Mirror Coat and Magic Coat are both able to tie into mirrors, as can Mirror Shot. Aerial Ace, Steel Wing, and Fly because he can fly just like his counterpart. And just like his parallel counterpart, he too has his own Galaxia, the Galaxia in question being silver in contrast to the other's golden coloration, so that's Sacred Sword. Blade Burst is based on his attack, where multiple massive swords protrude out of mirrors to strike enemies above the mirrors (and around DMK). Other stuff is based off of his arsenal in Star Allies and Triple Deluxe.
Also I mentioned a specimen that I'd have subbed last slate were it in the Dollhouse DLC. Well...

Alright I am tired of this place.
today a scary slime man attacked me
(sort of) and I ran wawy
[sic].
Pokémon: Specimen 2
Franchise: Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion
Type: Poison/Ghost
Abilities: Levitate / Regenerator / Inky Surge (From Inkling/Drawcia)
Notable moves: Inky Terrain, Poison Jab, Shadow Claw, Night Slash, Slash, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Shadow Sneak, Double Team, Gunk Shot, Swords Dance, Curse, Recover, Venom Drench
Stats: 90/115/90/70/75/65 [BST 505]

Reasoning: Poison/Ghost because it's described as a specter and the Poison typing ties into Inky Surge, which translates its exact gimmick into the game: It creates pools of gunk throughout the rooms in its chase that slow down the player on touch, compensating for its somewhat lacking speed seeing as it can deal 45% of your Max HP with a single strike (thank god for three-second damage cooldowns), though a good number of Specimens hit that hard anyway. Levitate of course because it can float, as shown in some of the layouts where invisible walls are what keep you from falling into a bottomless chasm. It can pop out of those puddles of goop to strike and its main attack is clawing at you. SD in case you're wondering is because Charizard and Bidoof get it too, so... And then Curse is a fun little nod to the pun in that move's JP name (Again, Curse, but it can also be read as "Slow") And for bulk, in the original version, the axe knocks it away, but in the HD Renovation, the thing just becomes a pile of gunk on the ground just like what else is strewn throughout the room until you progress.

If this Pokémon is effected by a status condition or is on the field for five turns, they will deactivate, and can only use status and non-sound base special moves. 3 turns later or if they are hit by an electric move, they power back on. And if they are affected by a status condition, it is removed and this Pokémon is healed of all damage from the status condition or effects based off of status conditions. only effects the Animatronics (the phantoms and Glitchtrap are Uneffected). All Animatronics are immune to intimidate, infatuation, and being blocked. This

Pokémon: Orieon (characters real Name: Ori) (it’s an Evo of Eevee
Just a head's up this Pet Mod is for turning characters from other video game franchises into characters that can be used in Pokemon battles so they don't have to evolve from existing Pokemon or anything. For alternate versions of characters such as your Ori sub, they need to be different from their own game series too. Classic Sonic and Boom Sonic, adult Link and young Link, or other characters who have distinct appearances between different games count for regional variants.

Also keep your submissions as powerful relative to their own universe. A regular enemy should have average stats, protagonists should have stats similar to OU Pokemon and god-like characters should be limited to cover legendary BST.

you're supposed to call them directly by the character's real name if applicable, ori has a real name so the sub should just be named "ori"

and we also already *have* a winning Ori sub
