I HAD THIS SAME THOUGHT.
I really think she's gonna be strong after this all-but-an-official-patch hot-fix, if not a tad OP. I'm probably crazy though.
Only problem I have with it is I already own all but 3 of the champs.
if you play her with a strong CC-er like taric or sona, her ultimate is kinda ridiculous
520 damage on a full channeled ult at level 1 scaling at a 3.6 AD ratio
(for comparison graves's ult at level 1 does 390 +2.6 AD at most)
of course it's unlikely that you'll get off the full ult but given a stunner like taric or sona you'll probably get off a ton of damage anyway
in terms of burst she isn't as strong as graves but she has an incredible amount of dueling and harassing potential, not only with her Q but also with impure shots harass. she's got crazy mobility and the strut buff was actually really big
the ult buff was great as well because it really lets you chain with your support much better than before - potentially another half-second of damage and almost certainly popping a summoner spell
yes i realize that none of the damage numbers were actually changed but playing MF should hopefully feel smoother and more streamlined than before
also lanes like MF+nunu are going to be ridiculous to deal with
I've vetted MF more than anyone and it was always possible to play her as such.
Now the Strut changes, those are huge. But I half expected them to increase the slow on Make It Rain when they talked about roaming.

tldr yeah it looks like they are similar that was the point but they play very differently. rengar uses his stealth strategically ( find the opponent, initiate the fight, take out a specific target) where as kha'zix uses his stealth tactically ( short stealth duration with massive MS boost, multiple uses in a short period of time to repeatedly draw and drop aggro while maneuvering to an isolated target.)
