you do realise the scoring and respawn algorithm in dominion is fixed so that the losing team usually ends up winning...it's artifically fixed so games appear 'close'. this is why nobody plays it anymore, winning teams are fucked up by stupid shit like lower respawn times when winning. the recent changes did nothing to fix that
 
I know some of you don't like Dominion because you think it's unbalanced, but I'm undefeated since the Graves patch fixes. Currently sitting at something like 14-0 wins with Nasus and Nocturne.

Either my Spooky Ghost skin is OP, or Dominion isn't as broken as you like to think, because it's clearly possible for a good player to carry hard. I've even won 4v5s.
 
I wish you could sell champs. I would totally sell catilyn to get Graves. Catilyn is so UP right now. You can't really poke any holes in his gameplay. Doesn't even need Flash. Can take tower hits with his passive at around level 13. I say give him some MAJOR nerfs or just scrap him all together.
 
the health ones definitely are imo, less than half the price for 24 health instead of 26... if my connection could actually hold up long enough for me to play a full game i would definitely try to get some of those

other than that, they all seem pretty worthwhile, but maybe that's just me with my low IP talking
 
10 wins in a row now as Nocturne. I even threw in a 4-0 win on Summoners Rift XD

Have you played against or with a single competent cait in your life? Cause from this statement I would assume that you have not. (ie. you're stupid in thinking that she is even close to UP)


On a completely unrelated note, how do you install custom skins? When I open LoL in my comp it does not give me the actual game files, and I don't know why, and I need Panda Jax so bad

I like Attack Speed reds for most of my junglers. There are obvious exceptions, even amongst the AD jungler crowd, but they're optimal for the majority. AS and ArPen provide equally to your damage point for point, assuming two things -- 100% of your damage is from auto-attacks and you're not hitting the zero armor cap. Why is AS better? For one, 1.70% AS is simply larger than 1.66 Armor Pen. Secondly, auto-attacks range from a vast majority to 100% of your damage output during your early runs through the jungle but excess Armor Pen often goes to waste on junglers. You can reach 30.93 ArPen with max runeage (e.g. typical AD champ in lane) and the Sunder mastery: Wolves have <10, double Golems 12, and buff mobs have 24. A lot of champions also have abilities that scale with AS (Noct, Xin, WW...) and it scales Razors/Wriggle's proc if you buy them, the latter point more important for Dragon than your actual jungle I guess. AD sorta sits in the middle in that it's probably "second best" for both jungling and late-game prowess, on average.

Synre claims they're too incremental in increasing your jungle speed but really, how much better are your ganks or your late-game with AD or ArPen instead? Equally incremental. *shrug* And honestly, your ganks aren't even going to be better. With AS you finish faster and at higher health, opening more windows of opportunity to even attempt ganks in the first place (and continue pursuit once engaged). Those precious seconds are even more important when it comes to counterjungling instead of ganking. It's not like the runes are a complete waste of IP either, since they're also the best DPS runes for on-hit builds (Teemo, Kayle, usually Kog'maw) and probably as good as the typical ArPen on glorified auto-attackers like Nocturne or Xin. ;/

But if we're talking AS blues... yeah, no. They're not primary in blue and you lose too much overall game benefit for too little additional gain in speed. At least use CDR if you insist on not having your glyph slots be completely useless in the jungle. The only non-primary runes I would ever consider using seriously are scaling mana regen blues, as they're very close to what primary mana regen yellows offer. (Even so I prefer Armor reds on supports, as mana regen blues conflicts with putting MR there.)

For ranged AD, armor pen quints are better than AD quints because ranged AD carries suck balls early-game anyway and it doesn't take long for your ArPen to scale better either. :P (Caitlyn excepted, as she both doesn't suck early and her Q has a 1.3 AD ratio.)

Nasus isn't actually that bad on Dominion I reckon, as his ult still makes him a nigh-unstoppable BAMF in small-scale combat and Wither shuts down most AD champs all the same. I wouldn't even be surprised if he could be successful building AP, Spirit Fire hurts and his ult actually scales with AP too. Q then becomes an easy vehicle to proc Lich Bane. also nocturne rulz dominion and I actually got trolled once through an entire game because I banned him once and my scrub teammates bitched because nobody plays him and he's apparently not very good and blah blah blah. I was told the five must-ban champions are Rammus, Jax, Akali, Shaco, and Poppy. Poppy. POPPY! ...Not surprisingly, we lost the game.

Let's try something here. Let's first name all the items that give you AS, and then name all the ones that give you Armor Pen.

AS: Berserker's Greaves, Cloak and Dagger, Rageblade, Malady, Nashor's Tooth, Phantom Dancer, Recurve Bow, Stark's Fervor, Stinger, Sword of the Divine, Black Cleaver, Triforce, Wit's End, Youmuu's Ghostblade, Madred's Bloodrazor, Elixir of Agility.

ArP: Last Whisper, Youmuu's Ghostblade, Sword of the Divine

As we can see, ArP has only three items that provide it, one of them being the illustrious and always-used Sword of the Divine, a favorite weapon of any LoL player. I wonder why ArP would be better to take as runes?
 
Masterful, that's completely irrelevant to the argument, they're talking about Jungling, and at no point are you going to buy any of those items in the first 15 minutes of the game. (although since you mention it, Youmuu's it pretty standard on a lot of junglers)

I personally run 26 Armor Pen in my runes and masteries to get full damage on neutral camps, the rest attack speed (3 marks, 9 glyphs). Standard TheOddOne runepage, I thought everyone did. I sometimes run a few Mres/Lvl Glyphs but honestly I prefer the AS.

idk, I think I bought a zeal for my phantom dancer and a phage for my mallet and then thought I must have been building triforce lol

Just to see, what are your guys' most common openers? (non-jungling, because armor+pots is like the only jungler opener) I usually go boots 4 pots on almost every champ, mostly cause I don't play support, but I know Doran's items can also be good. Just want to see what your opinions are
 
There is one role and one role only that is allowed to start with a Doran's item and that is the carry in the Duo lane, because he has a healer (presumably). Everyone else needs health pots.
 
Something I saw hs doing a lot recently was waiting in base just long enough for 4 pots with boots, and you get to lane before missing one cs most of the time
