decently good builds on most people. corki should have gotten a PD or a triforce or something instead of BT. given their team comp QSS is better than B-Veil. GA rammus doesn't make too much sense. ghost/cleanse doesn't make sense. not commenting on shyvana.

enemy team idk wtf kog is doing. riven seems to be going atmog's but with stark's in between which is weird because she has no damage and doesn't need stark's??? doesn't even seem to be going for atma's next and goes for either mallet or triforce instead. rumble build fine although i prefer void staff to haunting guise. lux not even going to comment. lux seems to be trying to support but their team no jungler. your team no support. it's fine. now we can justify the cs scores.
 
I feel like at my Elo you can't really get that good of a farm because no one else is trying to farm. If I'm solo top against another solo top who plays passively I can do pretty good but most of the time I'm either against two top who are being way too aggressive which ends up costing them like that first game I posted or I'm too busy trying not to let my team throw the game like the second game I posted.

Anyway, you should still try to CS. The worst that can happen is you have more gold than your enemies. It's best to find the balance of acquiring CS, harassing, and staying alive. Super aggressive players will fall off after the laning phase without CS (and if you don't die to them), so keep in mind that if they push you hard, you're free to farm under your tower.

Had last pick so they wanted me to take a support. They banned Trundle and Singed and first pick took Garen and called top so I didn't mind. Died three times early because J4's ult is gay. Cait SUCKED at last hitting so I was trying to take some farm but last hitting with Taric is awkward. Once Cait got some items they started last hitting decently. Once it got to the team fight stage I didn't die any more and did a pretty good job stunning people so the team could burst them down. Cait and I caught Teemo and J4 going for the first Drag and were able to force them away and take it. I was littering the map with wards and had oracle's to kill theirs so we got drag every time. Same thing with Baron, once we were strong enough we baited to kill Teemo and then took Baron. Game was way too long though. Everyone on my team was too afraid to push our advantage and end it quickly.
 
I feel like such a creep, I just saw in the client that you were playing Taric. Thought it was weird, given your Trundle games. What's up with that Yi and Surge though?

More people should go in the Smogon chat room in the client...

Trying to get back into LoL at the moment. I finally bought Lee Sin on sale and his kit is so much fun. I just played my first game laning solo top with him and completely dominated Jarvan. He's also so easy to last hit and tower dive with. I ended up with double Jarvan's CS, a kill and an assist by the end of laning phase. Lee Sin Free Win.

it is a good idea to take towers later rather than earlier, as when you take out a tower too early you can end up zoning yourself unless you're trynd
 
:o Is he? Anyways. What I meant was I somehow always end up in awkward situations with Rammus. My team made me go mid once, it was... Okay. We still won and I was a beast, but I felt so underfarmed. Then I 2v1 Solo top, couldn't get any CS through Cait & Maokai. The best part though was when our jungler DCed. ..... I turned on my endless rage and single handedly won the game. Oh yeah. I almost forgot. I had to jungle Rammus with TP and Flash.

Decided to start playing some rank... lol solo queue.

Last game of the night I can play pretty much sums up my entire experience so far... Revive/Teleport Evelynn and Twitch. (Too bad my screenshot of the loading screen didn't work properly, looks like.) Literally every fucking loss tonight, and there's been a lot of them because that's all but one game, trolls and bads and other garbage. Every. Single. Time. On my team and my team alone... wait, no, I did get a 5v4 once as the enemy Blitz never connected... and that wasn't the one game I ended up winning tonight.

So then I decided to play one more even though I should've went to bed an hour ago. Picked Nasus. User Groudon80 would be proud that enemy Mordekaiser went mid... so I got Singed. :happybrain:

Well, apparently Singed had an inkling of what a farmed Nasus can do so this dude played like he was fucking Garen, Flinging me on cooldown every chance he got basically and running that poison like it's nobody's business. (I'm not sure how he managed to not run out of mana after 2-3 Flings like I do when playing Singed but WHATEVER.) Even being relatively close to my tower once he started pushing didn't stop Lee Sin from being stuck to my ass like glue half the game and while ultra-aggro Singed also died a couple times to effortless ganks, I died three or four times in about the first 10-12 minutes. Maybe he really WAS Garen in disguise. If Kennen would've followed Morde from mid when I got three-man tower dove once, would've been a triple but whatever...

Sounds like another one of those games but I didn't really give a shit. The counter-ganks gave me enough gold for early Ludicity Boots. Burned Teleport twice, I took our second blue while everyone dicked around bottom for a while and farmed the whole duration with it. It was like I never left lane. A little over 20 minutes in I'm sitting at 400 bonus on Q with near-max CDR (Boots, Shurelya's, Enlightenment) and my Sheen. I proceeded to die a couple more times just barely failing to 2v1 Lee Sin + Singed and 3v1 Ezreal + Lee Sin + Janna, at least trading each time, then I started srs bsns fighting with the rest of my team and we completely rolled them. feels good man

/blog, inb4nobodycares whiner etc. I don't really give a damn I needed to fucking rant so deal with it. Anyway, I love me some Nasus, where victory in Harvest Moon rewards you with the Infinity+1 Sword and the ability to two-shot anybody that could deal actual damage to you. Yes, I am trying to get you to waste hours browsing through TVTropes sneaking that reference in there and also forget about my giant bitchfest and subsequent triumph over adversity. *ahem*

Honestly, I always forget you can do that. I'll try to remember in the future, although I doubt anyone cares.
 
I care! I chat with people from time to time if they're in; always willing to "meet" new people. But no one's ever in there, and then I hear about Smogon people playing and I'm all sadfacin' because no one plays together except a select few.

Gj on the Nasus game though, you can never let that fucker afk farm if you want to win.
 
You can set chats to autojoin on login which I do for the Smogon room. If am ever idling and I hear the notification I'll check the window out. But normally there is no one there.
 
Yeah, my team were all ignoring me and suiciding the enemy team one by one so I stacked negatron to see if I could jump Swain while he was alone grabbing our blue buff. Was funny.

Brought my win streak to four with a win in my first game as Maokai. I like him but I think he needs AS marks to jungle well and I don't have them or more rune pages. I'm cheap and so play for free. Since I like buying new champs I just have two pages.

Just played a great game with Soraka, 2/1/21. Every time I use Soraka, I do horribly because either 1) I play way too aggressively, or 2) People think Soraka makes them invincible. This time, I asked this random Graves which support he prefers, he said Soraka, I used her. Not only did he do pretty well, but I got to experience the "Soraka clutch heal" like a million times, spamming R while it was still on cd, lol. Died at the end of the match; they killed me and then surrendered. Felt good to do well in solo queue with support.
 
Guys I was looking at the shop today and had this weird feeling come over me: I own every champion and skin I actually want. There's other champs I'll buy just so I can trade them to people(I'm back up to not owning 20 since I haven't been buying newbies), and I don't own skins for some Champions I use because they all suck(looking at you Lee Sin, Graves, Soraka, Sona, Blitzcrank), but it's just bizarre. I'm really OCD about my runes so it always felt like I was saving up for something before, but I'm down to a pool of 22 champions I play in sort-of-serious situations and finally don't really want anymore. I'm not quite sure what to do with myself...
