League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

Rumble nerfs coming as well; as a former Rumble main I'm glad the ult's up front damage is getting taken out because he doesn't need it at all and maybe this will silence the qqers and get him left alone for another few dozen patches.

...

Right after I pick up Rumble and start bossing with him?

Really, Riot? Really??

Meanwhile, meet Zac in a past life:

I don't see how you can call it simple except for compared to what's been released lately, especially when considering the passive. IDK, just not a fan of champ design lately.

There's a reason that Morello said this was a throwback to the design of the original 40. His kit is way simple...

Passive lots of text, but not hard to understand. Hitting a spell, drops a glob which heals you. On death can revive if your cells aren't killed.

Q- Skillshot damage that slows
W- AoE Damage
E- Channel, charges a leap to target area that damages and stuns on impact
R- Knocks up people around you, bounces 3 times and deals damage on each bounce.

Boom, you're done. There is nothing remotely complex here. Closest thing is maybe his E, but even then that isn't really scrathcing the surface of the kind of complexity this game has seen otherwise. (New or Old).

Like I'm going to be as real as possible here, this is the most elegantly designed champion I've seen in quite a long while. Not just mechanics wise but thematically as well. This guy is amazing. A+ work.

Yeah, I'm getting gosh darn sick and tired of these top lane characters getting pushed out every three months. Unless you see Vi as more of a jungler, so four months? Well, Elise is hardly a stereotypical top, so five months? What lane is Kha'Zix best at again?

question - what are your thoughts on champions like nidalee, jayce and elise that sacrifice raw power (a low impact ultimate) for utility?

Nidalee, Jayce, and Elise all get entire kits in exchange for not having an ultimate. Udyr gets ridiculously powerful regular abilities (see:tiger stance) and a more flexible skill arrangement that allows him to adapt-if you need more sustain take a point in Turtle. If you need more damage take one in Tiger or Phoenix, if you need to gank better take bear.

Karma gets buffs on her normal 3 skills that tbh aren't powerful enough to justify not having an ultimate. She'll never have the burst or utility of other utility mages because everything is loaded into the mantra bonuses and you STILL don't get enough charges to full combo with mantra, or get off more then two or three mantra empowered abilities in a teamfight.

I don't think this is fair; the last few champions were Quinn, Thresh, Vi, Nami, and Zed, in reverse order. We've got an ADC, two supports, a jungler, and technically a top laner that's used more often mid or in the jungle.

I could be misinterpreting your post and perhaps you're actually talking about how sparse top laners are recently, and to that, I'll say that top lane probably has the most variety of any lane and 2012 releases (Jayce, Kha'Zix, Elise, Zed, etc) all went through periods of being the most desirable top laners in the game, and were frequently banned at some point between their release and now. I like recent champion releases, personally.

Riot no likey AP mages. Makes me a sad Panda. :(

Probably because of the fact that Diana, Sandra, and Zyra all came out around the same time. I can see the next champion being AP mid type champ. Lissandra or w/e her name is.

Rumble nerf sucks, only PBE notes so I hope it it doesnt go live, he does need a nerf but I dont think thats the right way to do it. Though this nerf doesn't really effect his laning phase too much which is good I guess.

also I hope zac is a good jungler

quality player just got banned for his unorthodox picks.

be careful everyone, it is now official that if you make a pick or build an item that your team dislikes you can be banned.

except that guy was an asshole and pretty much everyone who responded to the reddit thread who had played with him confirmed it

do you believe everything you read? some of the shit in this thread...

I read the tribunal case. There was nothing in that case that warranted a ban.

He was banned because he made picks that Tribunal users considered trolling, regardless of whether he was actually trying to win or not.

Did you not see the part where Lyte posted quotes of his champ select lobby chat or something, where he said "I am playing (unconventional build/champ here)" and wasn't working with his team at all, or where, once he hit Diamond, his reports over doubled?

Apparently not because then you wouldn't have something to ignorantly blather about.

He was a prick who deserves the ban. Going things like ad karma / jungle morde because he was already in diamond and can't lose that with this system.
There is a difference between using an unorthodox pick, and simply trolling.

I was under the impression that Tribunal users were meant to judge based on what was in the case, not on assumptions based on information that isn't provided in the actual case. If they want me to use pregame chat and number of reports to punish someone, they better provide it for me.

But guilty until proven innocent amirite?

To be fair, we've known for a long time now that you can totally be banned for doing what Quality Player did even while being perfectly reasonable with your team about it. The Tribunal is a joke and Lyte is as shady a motherfucker as they come.

Please don't make me agree with this guy. :evan: Although I am also disagreeing with Yeti so I guess it's not that bad. AD Karma hurts my brain, though.
