In Pokemon, moms live in their children's basement.
They sleep in your bed. That's why the moms kick you out of the house at age 10, duh.In Pokemon, moms live in their children's basement.
At the very least you'd think Ethers would be available since its effect is so minimal compared to Elixer and their Max counterpartsGenuinely don't understand why you can't buy ethers and elixirs.
Kinda weirded out that older games didn't really bother to translate >Fufufufu or Mumumu to be properly laughs in Eng
it's weirder for Kate and Liza in RSE, where they DID translate one laugh correctly, but forgot the other View attachment 299541
Like, these are supposed to be the same line too
When it comes to laughter how often they get translated kind of varies (something like one piece I think keeps them all because everyone has a ridiculous Signature Laugh (TM), i think if you have voice acting you'll probably see it "translated"), but yes fufufu & its ilk are (japanese) laughter onomatopoeia. Though I thought it was meant to be a more nasally laugh? Or something like thatWait, those are Japanese terms that were meant to be translated? I always thought they were terms the translators came up with out of nowhere.
"Fufufufu" does sort of bring to mind a chuckling noise, although the image I get is of an old man with a bushy beard rather than a teenager.

That's usually for ohoho. the classic ojousama, exaggerated to various extremes.I always took it as an aristocratic forced laugh, they're mockingly laughing at you in a way which seems like laughter but it's obviously them forcing a "chuckling" sound.
"Fufufu" is actually a pretty common laugh onomatopoeia in Japanese. It's supposed to be read as anything from a chuckle (heh heh heh), a nasal, humming laugh (hm hm hm), to even a girlish giggle, depending on context.
Nidoking, Mightyena, and Manectric don't look that different between the old and new models, and I'm not really really sure what the fuck you want from Starmie.

The back spinning is cool I guess but the dancing is just weird. Definitely prefer the new model.You've... never played Stadium, have you?
It's more different than the other two, but they're still similar. New model is a bit more relaxed, but they're both still doing that sort of "come at me bro" air hug movement with their arms. I certainly wouldn't hold one as clearly or significantly inferior to the other.Bruh...
Like... There's really no point talking about it if you can't even notice how the two are nothing alike.
Probably a bit of nostalgia, but the new model is basically doing the same "dance" as the Stadium model, just with much more subdued movements and without the spinning back. The back spinning is cool I guess but the dancing is just weird. Definitely prefer the new model.
Mr. T pose, meet: The best thing since sliced breadYo why me i just mentioned the chad gen 3 treecko sprite
I dunno, I think the freaky pokemon having subdued animations kind of adds to its uncanniness.Probably a bit of nostalgia, but the new model is basically doing the same "dance" as the Stadium model, just with much more subdued movements and without the spinning back.
Starmie is, nominally, a starfish, but its generally inorganic look, bizarrely high base speed, and implications that it was originally from space are much better communicated by its energetic actions (and attack animations) from the Stadium games. That said, I don't know what its Gen 6+ attack animations are.
Maybe VGC is a different story, but anyone who complains that singles is unplayable because of Landorus is not a competitive player.Competitive Players Shut The Hell Up About Legendaries "Ruining the Metagame" Challenge.
Pokemon is not literally unplayable just because Landorus exists. Or even Xerneas, as absurd as that thing is going to be with Geomancy + Dynamax.
