Look At What I Chained - Mark II

I'm pretty damn pissed seeing as I got a chain of 39 Magby last night and had it break despite being extremely conservative on the last 5-10. >_> I did get an early shiny, though. It was "Mischievous" with a Mild nature, but its Sp. Attack happened to be 26 and the other IVs were average at best.

Now I'm going for Eevee or Porygon. My third attempt for each one. :)
 
It really bites when your first shiny Gastly of the day looks like this:

I was even using a hasty synch.
 
I wasn't using a Synch. so yeah. Plus I broke the chain anyway with only one shiny, the nature is modest and I noticed that you're breeding Numels in the Look at what I bred thread.

LOL yeah, I hope to get a good shiny larvitar, and I have enough max repels, super repels and repels :p and still 800 Ultra :p
 
Two days ago, I went chaining after reading up on techniques. Previously, I just made it up as I went without knowing how to do it properly. After about two hours, I caught my first shiny! I got a shiny, rash Spoink (my swarm of the day). It was awesome.
 
What Pokemon do you guys use for Synchronizers? Does anything matter other than the nature?
Would you think that it is easiest to just catch/breed a whole bunch of Eevee's until one of each nature is obtained, and then evolve them into Espeon or Umbreon? I feel like this might be quickest as they are the only two Pokemon with Synchronize and no other possible ability (other than Mew...).
 
Abra and Ralts also have Synchronize. You can breed until you get the nature you need and how are you going to get so many Eevees?
 
Abra also has Inner Focus and I believe Ralts also has Trace, so that would just elongate the breeding time.

... I will breed the Eevees. I can use Dittos with Everstones.

Ralts. Not particularly. Too much effort; I just chained Ralts. If it Traces you coming in, kill it; if it doesn't, it's Syncher.
 
Well I feel like it might be easier to breed for them so I have some kind of control over what natures I get rather than leaving it up to random chance.
 
Well I got Slakoth as my swarm. I got the chain to 40 really easy and got a early shiny at 31 with modest nature( lol Special attacking slaking anyone?)

best of the 13 I got.

advise on what slaking/vigoroth to use please :) leaning on number 2.

~EDIT: Vlieg, Yes you can feint the sync at the front of your party.

Thanks, and I think that I would use the first one, cause it's Atk 31 but the Jolly has a higher average, so I think I would use the Jolly Slaking =)


EDIT: ~ Already caught 28 shinies from the larvitar chain, currently a chain 68 =)

28 shinies, wel done Airplane(ehrr Vliegtuig). What synchro are you using?

The second would work very well as a Vigoroth, as Bulk Up would solve it's attack and defense problem. :)

Hey I didn't think of that. I was going to band him, but with a bulk up and life orb/leftovers he could be really fun TY!!

But what should I do for the Slaking? Not that I play OU I just want to have something people will want when I make a trade thread.

Think a bit more southernly and you've nailed it!
Adamant is a good nature for chaining Larvitar, the CB-set can work without Eggmoves and Boah has some rather nasty needs in the IV department.

Okay, a litte bit southernly is belgium =P, And I continu my chain now, I needed to work =P still 28 shinies, hopefull I reach the 35 shinies today =D

EDIT: Currently at chain 88 and caught 48 shinies :naughty:
 
So I decided to go chain Geodude, the rock polish set looked really fun and you can use it without egg moves. I got the chain to 40 without a problem, got a shiny, kept resetting and then the chain just stopped. The only thing that I could think of is I got off the screen, but I'm pretty darn sure that was not the case :( oh well.

Well thats the one I got, low DEF and speed :( Is he still worth training with the rock polish? Or is that still not going to make him cut the mustard?
 
Currently chaining Bibarel and already have 11 shinies:) Chain is currently at 51, I'll be getting a lot more looking for some good IV'ed ones:)
 
Hoahhh I caught 61 Shiny Larvitars, and 31 shinies where adamant nature,

HP 14 / Atk 22 / Def 27 / SpAtk 13 / SpDef 30 / Speed 31

It have pretty high IV's in both Defences, and her speed is maximized. Only HP is a little bit low, but I hope that it won't be a problem =P And maybe her attack is also not very high......

So this one could be useful as an Choice Scarf T-Tar
