The Megas For All tool just got way better! Although it probably hasn't been used till now so you might not feel it
Here's what's new:
- The stats, dex number and the default weight automatically load up upon entering the name of the Pokemon! Just need to enter the new stat spread and the new weight (If applicable).
- No need to worry and click on Generate anymore! The function works onInput now but the Generate button completes the whole look so still kept it for now.
Currently thinking a way for implementing an easier way to check ability ratings.
New ability: Simple Mega Stone: Butterfrite Stats: HP: 60 Atk: 45 Def: 50 SpA: 145 (+55) SpD: 80 Spe: 115 (+45) New Moves: Psyshock, Focus Blast Description: Despite having quite a low BST for a Mega evolution, Mega Butterfree carves itself a niche in the form of an ultimate boosting move - Simple Quiver Dance. It is basically a Geomancy without the charging turn. After a Quiver Dance Mega Butterfree becomes a terrifying sweeper. However it is still weak physically and it is also very susceptible to priority attacks.
New ability: Intimidate Mega Stone: Slowkingite Stats: HP: 95 Atk: 125 (+50) Def: 140 (+60) SpA: 50 (-50) SpD: 150 (+40) Spe: 30 New Moves: Sucker Punch, Knock Off Description: WIP
New ability: Snow Warning Mega Stone: Froslassite Stats: HP: 70 Atk: 80 Def: 70 SpA: 130 (+50) SpD: 90 (+20) Spe: 140 (+30) New Moves: Freeze Dry, Dazzling Gleam Description: Fast Aurora Veil setter and strong Blizzard spammer.
Prankster in combination with Froslass' blazing speed means that it will almost always be able to set up one layer of hazards or Destiny Bond even against opposing scarf users.
Toxic Spikes gives Froslass another move to potentially use as a hazard setter.
Inability to hold a Focus Sash makes it more difficult for Froslass to hold an
Special attack is good but not amazing. Plenty of Pokemon in OU are bulky enough to take at least one attack and hit hard back. Combined with Froslass' average at best bulk and weakness to Stealth Rock and it's not going to last very long.
New Type: Water / Fairy New ability: Clear Mind (Doubles Special Defense) Mega Stone: Slowkingite Stats: HP: 95 Atk: 75 Def: 115 (+35) SpA: 130 (+30) SpD: 145 (+35) Spe: 30 New Moves: Moonblast Description: Bulky offense mega with a decent offensive movepool and a very useful ability.
New ability: Protean Mega Stone: Butterfreenite Stats: HP: 60 Atk: 15 (-30) Def: 50 SpA: 150 (+60) SpD: 80 Spe: 140 (+70) New Moves: Aura Sphere, Thunderbolt Description: Butterfree here is literally Mega Beedrill, but specially oriented, and with access to quiver dance. It learned how to blend in with it's environment using patterns on it's wings, so it gets Protean.
New Moves: Sludge Bomb, Tri Attack Description: Butterfree's wings enlarge and become deep purple with red edges. Mega Butterfree is a Quiver Dancer with access to Contaminate-boosted Tri Attack and outspeeds the base 100 speed tier.
New Moves: Dragon Pulse, Thunderbolt Description: Energy from the Mega Stone awakens the spirit of a powerful dragon resting inside. Slowking's crown grows larger and engulfs its head, covering even its eyes and mouth. However, Slowking's psychic powers remain intact, and it can sense its world through the gem on its crown. Mega Slowking has greatly improved special bulk and special attack, while also retaining Regenerator for longevity. Unlike Slowbro, Slowking has access to Nasty Plot, making it a powerful but slow offensive threat.
New Moves: Hyper Voice, Quiver Dance Description: The bow on its back extends to look like a pair of wings, which is used to move very quickly while attacking. Froslass' arms become heart-shaped, but with claws as sharp as icicles on the ends. Mega Froslass becomes extremely fast, and with new access to Quiver Dance and Ghost-type Hyper Voices, it can exert high offensive pressure. Ice/Ghost STAB has great coverage, which becomes perfect neutral coverage with Thunderbolt.
Ability: Snow Cloak/ Cursed body => Charmmaker: gives 1.5x power to Fairy moves (Steelworker clone) Stats: HP : 70 ATK : 80 DEF : 70 SPA : 80 => 130 (+50) SPD : 70 => 100 (+30) SPE : 110 => 130 (+20) New Moves: Nasty Plot, Aura Sphere Description: Froslass becomes a very fast special sweeper, with good coverage moves in Charmaker-boosted Draining kiss, Psychic, Aura Sphere, Thunderbolt, and great STABs in Shadow Ball and Ice Beam/ Blizzard.
Type: Water/Psychic => Water/Psychic
Ability: Regenerator/Own tempo/Oblivious => Strong Will: halves the power of Ghost and Dark moves (Thick Fat clone) Stats: HP: 95 Atk: 75 Def: 80 => 120 (+40) SpA: 100 => 135 (+35) SpD: 110 => 135 (+25) Spe: 30 New Moves: Stored Power, Stockpile Descripton: Slowking is a very bulky special sweeper, with good defense-boosting moves in Stockpile and Calm Mind, while Stored Power abuses these boosts.
Type: Bug/Flying => Psychic/Flying
Ability: Compound Eyes/Tinted Lens => No Guard
Item: Butterfrite Stats: HP: 60 ATK: 45 DEF: 50 => SPA: 90 => 130 (+ 40) SPD: 80 => 95 (+15) SPE: 70 => 115 (+45) New Moves: Focus Blast, Fire Blast Description: Tired of missing Hurricane, Fire Blast, Sleep Powder, and Focus Blast? Well, with Mega Butterfree, that's no longer a problem! With No Guard, Butterfree's Hurricane, Focus Blast, and Fire blast become really spamable, and a perfect accuracy Sleep Powder allows for a lot of setup opportunities.
Type: Bug/Flying (I think I'm the first to not change the typing, so that's something) Ability: Magic Guard Stats: 60/15 (-30)/50/150 (+60)/80/140 (+70)
New Moves: Hurricane, Psyshock Description: A truthful counterpart to Mega Beedrill. With the same proportional stat increases, an ability that makes it much more useful than it may otherwise be and being walled by Steel types, it matches pretty well. It also fits the mon decently: It has Psychic influences, so Magic Guard isn't much of a stretch. Despite being walled quite effectively by Steel types, as well as its low defenses, it is definitely a threat to beware if it manages to start dancing.
Type: Water/Psychic Ability: Hydration Stats: 95/75/80/150 (+50)/160 (+50)/30 New Moves: Hydro Pump, Energy Ball Description: The offensive counterpart to Mega Slowbro! With a great 150 Special Attack backed up with good Special Defense and HP, Mega Slowking is a powerful abuser of Calm Mind and Nasty Plot. Hydration is fairly situational as it already learns Slack Off, but definitely gives it the option of being ran on Rain. Mega Slowking's main weakness is its fairly lacking Physical bulk combined with its pitiful Speed, which almost guarantees the opponent will outpace it and get a hit off before it does.
Attack: 45 ----> 15 (-30)
Special Attack: 90 ----> 150 (+60)
Special Defense: 80 ----> 110 (+30)
Speed: 70 ----> 110 (+40)
Base Stat Total: 395 ----> 495
Movepool Additions: Hurricane
Description: I personally shot for a middle ground between the "Focus on Special Stats" approach that the base form took and the "Beedrill but Special" approach. Just QD up, and Tinted Lens will do the talking. One should be enough to save you from getting KO'd from a Special move. It's kinda like Volcarona in a way.
Ability: Magic Guard
HP: 100 (+0) Atk: 75 (+0) Def: 100 (+20) SpA: 130 (+30) SpD: 180 (+70) Spe: 10 (-20) BST: 595 (+100) Mega Stone: Slowkingite
Movepool Aditions: Hydro Pump & Stored Power. Competitive: "Special" counterpart to Slowbro-Mega, but with better distributed stats and an actually useful ability to set up with CM and Stored Power without fearing about chip damage dealer status moves like Toxic or Leech Seed. Its lower Speed, higher SpA and bulk and new access to Hydro Pump also helps it to be an OTR sweeper, which can be a nice surprising set.
Ability: Deep Freezing (XY Gale Wings clone: +1 priority to all Ice-type moves) Stats:
HP: 70 (+0) Atk: 100 (+20) Def: 80 (+10) SpA: 130 (+50) SpD: 80 (+10) Spe: 120 (+10) BST: 580 (+100) Mega Stone: Froslassite
Movepool Aditions: Freezy Dry & Nasty Plot. Competitive: L8er
Farfalla Shield - Accuracy, Defense, and Special Defense are all increased by 30% each.(Compoundeyes clone) HP - 60
60 Atk - 45
15(-30) Def - 50
45(-5) SpA - 90
135(+45) SpD - 80

135(+65) BST - 480
Butterfreeite Movepool Additions
Hurricane, Focus Blast Competitive Analysis
Really strong Quiver Dance user by virtue of its ability, allowing it to often hit the likes of Hurricane, Focus Blast, and Sleep Powder. A great speed tier also means pretty much no Choice Scarf user is outrunning it, making it quite a threat to offense. Thankfully, Steel-types neutral to Fighting and other Flying-resists are great choices against it. Specially Tapu Koko, who can ignore Sleep Powder.
495 (+100) New Moves: Flash Cannon, Stealth Rock Overview: I thought I'd try to offer a different view to the majority of other people, and try to make a butterfree that contrasts the variety of "fast but frail quiver dance sweeper" megas. Butterfree has always been one of those really strange Pokemon that has a really good and well-rounded support movepool without the base stats, typing or ability to make use of it. This mega-evolution aims to right this issue by fixing all of those issues. Boasting solid all-around bulk, an incredible defensive typing, and an excellent ability that makes this mega evolution very difficult to chip, Mega Butterfree has a number of viable options. With moves like defog, u-turn, roost, toxic, stun spore, sleep powder, whirlwind and now stealth rock, it can act as a glue mon for many teams, with the ability to pivot in and out of many pokemon. Alternatively, thanks to it's newly found bulk, Mega Butterfree can also act as a bulky win-condition with Quiver Dance.
Oblivious / Own Tempo / Regenerator
HP: 95 ATK: 75
45 (-30) DEF: 80
110 (+30) SPA: 100 SPD: 110
140 (+30) SPE: 30
100 (+70) BST: 490
590 (+100) New Moves: Roar, Taunt Overview: Comaphaze is great lmao. With a buffed speed tier and defenses, Mega Slowking can BS its way through teams with comaphase and entry hazard support using your choice of dragon tail or roar, but also manages to still be a respectable bulky wincon if cheese isn't your thing thanks to its bulk + CM + status immunity
580 (+100) New Moves: Focus Blast, Moongeist Beam Overview: Mega Froslass can threaten bulky and more offensive teams alike thanks to its great speed tier (yes its deliberately creeping swellow) and special attack stat, as well as it's adequate movepool. 225 base power moongeist beam hits like a truck, and coverage can pick off whatever may survive it, although mega froslass still remains weak to priority. You might think moongeist beam is weird on something not called Lunala (or smeargle) but this evolution is somewhat night themed so consider it as an emissary / servant of Lunala or something like that
Competitive: Butterfree has severe problems with both power and coverage if it wants to survive in OU. Bug / Ghost type helps out significantly as STAB Shadow Ball gives it a solid backup move to Bug Buzz that frees room for setup, status, or recovery. Tail Glow is the final piece to make this a solid OU threat, allowing you to get wallbreaking power that would frankly take too long with QD. Of course, Butterfree's bulk is also terrible and so Shadow Shield is there to help you nab a turn of setup if you can keep rocks away. Will-o-wisp is there for flavor; I just like the idea of a Bug/Ghost mon that wields Sleep Powder and Wisp. Far more likely than double status is double dance with the two best setup moves in the game and solid two move coverage.
Competitive: This aims to preserve Froslass' role as a fast, annoying, supporter. "Guaranteed 2 layers of spikes" is not really realistic with Ice typing and no Sash, but this can get a nearly guaranteed Aurora Veil + 1 layer of spikes. Aurora Veil also combos nicely with Parting Shot and Healing Wish. With these tools Mega Froslass would be a nice support mon for a HO team.
Mega Slowbro was built to be a Calm Mind sweeper, getting a massive boost to Defense and an ability to that prevents it from getting critted while it takes multiple turns to set up. Slowking gets Nasty Plot and Trick Room, so it is more likely to do a one or two turn setup, and this Mega Slowking is built for that. Berserk is to hopefully gain a boost on the turn you set up Trick Room, 15 Speed is to ensure you can outspeed Ferrothorn under Trick Room, and of course 180 SpA is for sweeping power. Trick Room 3 attacks can sweep a significant portion of the metagame if you get a Berserk boost and Trick Room setup, being stopped mostly by Water-types that resist Psyshock such as Greninja.
