why does the frame matter, when i looked at the directions for DPP RNG Manipulation Guide Part 6 - Using the DPPt Shiny Egg Finder it doesn't say anything about the frame or the initial screen of the rng reporter. Also does taps mean double tapping the screen of the happiness checker?Okay, see if you can find what frame you DID hit. Make sure that the method is "DPPt Egg PID (International)", and put in the nature and ability (if possible) to narrow down your results. I've found that sometimes when I use the Shiny egg finder that I need to do one less happiness tap than it says to get it to work. Try again and see if that helps some.
Pretty much, there is no way to control whether you hit it or not it happens or it doesn't you just have to keep going for it its pretty much trial and error just like the article saysI want to abuse this spread on Emerald for some Countersash stuff:
9141S 2.32.35 31 / A / 0 / X / B / A
The thing is, it is a Split spread.
Nexus helped me a little bit with it but I'm still not quite sure.
So the question is: If I hit this spread, do I have a 50% chance to hit the Split version of this spread, or is there something I'm forgetting right now?
I really don't understand shit when it comes to Split spreads.
Not without savestates. The RNG for those two reseeds itself every time you restart the game, meaning the starting frame is different every time. You'd have no way of knowing it and if you do figure it out, the minute you reset the game, it'll be another one.you probably need to check the time correctly... i have troble remimbering what time i entered so i check for that by fooling with the min. thing
im still needing to know if you can RNG in sapphire and in fire red versions... is just like emerald?
well i use the RNG reporter now(whole lot better) and im wondering how to RNG on my sapphire to get modest kyogre... is there any way i can?Not without savestates. well it has been mentioned that once a sapphire games battery has died its RNG functions like emeralds, except that it starts at a specific seed not 0 like emerald so you would have to catch a pokemon in sapphire, find its IVs input those into rng reporter and check what seed its on.well i use the RNG reporter now(whole lot better) and im wondering how to RNG on my sapphire to get modest kyogre... is there any way i can?

What's the best way to RNG for swarm Pokémon in D/P/Pt since you'll most likely have to change the date?
I am breeding for perfect IVs in Platinum, and I have saved, and locked into an egg that I want. Can I go off and do other stuff like trade between games without changing the locked-in egg?

EDIT: changed underlined word
no there isn't seeing as they are two different means of producing a pokemonContinuing with the HGSS theme here, if a spread is Method J, is there always going to be a Method K parallel?
