none that I know of, you're just gonna have to accept that they're there and try again.
 
I forgot to test my sweet scent frame advancement, so what is the average one and how many frames does a battle advance if i guess wrong or does it mess it all up?

It advances the frame by two. Sometimes it screws your frame up in HGSS when you use sweet scent and you have a pokemon following, so if you can, get on your bike so your pokemon isn't following you and then use sweet scent.

Ok and do you know if their are any NPC's on Route 13?? cause i just cant seem to get my poke but i forgot to go on my damn bike. Ok here we go AGAIN (try number 3!)
 
Sweet Scent actually depends on your game. For example, in my game, it only advances the frame by 1. There is no correct answer, it's either 1 or 2 but it's consistent within that game.
 
RNGing in SoulSilver seems to have thrown me off massively back in DPPt. I'm doing the same thing as before but my times and delays are all over the place as if this was my first time doing this... *sigh*

Thanks! I got my shiny modest nodoking with HP grass! Mine is 2 frames but i had to hit my delay and target time 4 TIMES! But thanks again everybody!!!

I have finally hit my delay, and deposited a male magikarp and someone's flawless ditto. I rode on my bike around Goldenrod and Route 34 until the Day Care guy faced left. My frame was 1, so i took the first egg. I got it hatched, but it is no shiny. The gender and the nature matched though (coincidential?). Now, what could have gone wrong? Could my SID be wrong? I got it from the Shiny Gyarados in Lake of Rage.

Yes, your SID was wrong. :(
 
my starter was a shiny cyndaquil, now a shiny typhlosion. Can i use it to get my SID? but then i would have to EV swipe it, and i have no EV deleting berries...
 
Ok, I tried doing an ID/SID abuse and am totally clueless. Does a certain seed's PID have to be from PokeRNG or can I use Java RNG/RNG reporter? (everytime I try opening PokeRNG, my computer says it can't open with the programs I chose) I read the guide btw and am still pretty stumped. ID Finder is also the same case as PokeRNG on my computer. Any more info on ID Abuse would be helpful.

Ok, so are you using a mac? If not, than try changing the name of the program by just adding .exe to the end, thats what I did. You also need to have .NET framework 3.5 or 4.0 Idk which.

alright, i used a japanese tool to find my correct SID and i have finally hatched a shiny magikarp! now i need to master how to get perfect IV...
 
Leeward, have you tried abusing any legendary in the game? It's pretty much the same as that. Just make sure you pick a frame around 12-15, since it's pretty easy to accidentally skip your egg by calling Elm too many times.

No, i havent tried to RNG any legendary yet. I was going to test it on breeding a flawless shiny magikarp first, and I did it! I took the shiny magikarp to the IV Judge in the battle tower and all the stat cameback "cant be better" i.e. 31. OH this makes breeding and everything else so much easier now!

I would like to thank CPrime and Riski on helping me through this.
 
I want to capture some flawless Japanese Dittos on my JapSS Cart, but I can't seem to find a guide for wild captures (like in the grass, not stationary legendaries). Anybody know of one? I CTRL+F'd the first page here but couldn't find anything.

It's basically just the same as DPPt. You just use Elm to advance the frame instead of using the Journal. There's no way to stop the NPCs if you've already battled them, so you just have to deal with that. Sweet Scent advances the frame differently too, see this post for more information. Other than that though, it's the same as DPPt.
