Official E3 2010 Topic

It's definitely a Wii game, thankfully :) I'm really looking forward to it...I mean, let's not forget Twilight Princess was actually a GameCube game ported to Wii, so we can probably expect quite a jump in graphics quality. Hopefully the motion plus will make swordplay even more fun than it was in TP :D

PS: Dates are in Day/Month/Year format

OK so Nintendo announced "The Legend of Zelda: Skyword Sword"

trailer

Looks cool from the trailer but Miyamoto was pretty bad with the demo... hope they fix the controls

Also release to be 2011 (fuuuu)

and here's hoping the show the 3DS

yeah this conference made me realise 2 things:

1. I severely neglected my wii
2. how god awful microsofts conference was

3DS looks great, got some good titles coming with it and will definately buy it on release (although I was planning on buying a DSi sometime soon <_<)

Oh jesus christ that's awesome, I don't understand why people are complaining about the graphics, I thought it was the general art-style of WW people didn't like, not the cel-shading in general. Seriously, the gameplay makes the game, graphics just help, and I for one think this looks beeeeautiful <___<

Edit: What's up with the 3DS? I know absolutely nothing about it, there wouldn't happen to be any screens or videos of it in-use would there?

Also, glad we FINALLY get to see Kirby Wii coming out, seriously, this had been revealed in like... 2006?

Donkey Kong Country RETURNS? It seems like Nintendo's just trying to make up for selling Rare, I mean, there's a goldeneye remake too? But whatever, I'm excited for this, Donkey Kong Country is one of my favourite game franchises ever and I'm eagerly awaiting this remake.

Anyway, it's official, I'm in love with Nintendo again, and it looks like 2010-2011 is going to be an absolutely amazing year for them.

IIIII NEED A JOOOOOB

Nintendo started off with Zelda and yet managed to look like they were going to offer an even worse conference than Microsoft, with Miyamoto completely failing at demonstrating the game and the game itself looking good but somewhat generic (it's just TP with motion controls, which might even prove to be a bad thing) :(
The next half hour didn't make things any better with low profile announcements that were neither exciting nor surprising, Mario Sports, Wii Party...

Fortunately enough the amount of content they had made up for the huge initial disappointment, with Metroid OM looking good, DKCR (finally), a new GoldenEye which looks terrible but will please many fans, Golden Sun DS, and a new Kirby.

The end was excellent though, with the 3DS looking more and more promising and Kid Icarus, along with a lot of third party content, ensuring that we have things to play when the console launches.

Good conference, way better than MS, a bit worse than EA and Ubisoft, far from being the best of what Nintendo is capable of imo.

My body couldn't handle the surprises Reggie doled out.
Nintendo won e3; I don't even know how Sony could compete with all that content.

I missed a little bit of the conference (specifically where the showed Goldeneye) but what I saw was amazing. Kid Icarus Uprising, Donkey Kong Country 4, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (with Wii motion plus support!), Kirby's Epic Yarn and The 3DS all looked amazing and I am eagerly anticipating their release.

My only disappointment was that there was no mention of new F-Zero or a Wii Star Fox games. I also need a job, too many games for me to buy

(it's just TP with motion controls, which might even prove to be a bad thing)

What?

Sorry but... aside from how Link looks, this didn't look like TP to me at all, TP is dark and spooky and there was this aura of doom resonating within the entire game, the feel of this game looks alot more... natural.

Also did you see that moblin(?) that thing looked messed up ahahaha.

But I mean, all we've seen is a trailer, so I guess we can't really tell either way. But all Zelda games are pretty similar, you get some items, run through 8 dungeons, save a girl from some evil thing. I don't think this one will be any different, but the success of those individual games lies in the execution of that plot, and the twists that are put on it.

Actually, the trailer kind of reminded me of the LoZ games for the Gameboy Colour, oracle of ages/seasons, which is nice because those are my favourite LoZ games. But I doubt it'll be much like them haha.

Yeah, in retrospect, my bad - even though the universe and the general feeling is closer to TP than any other game. I just got that feeling because TP already used the Wiimote and all I was hoping for was that they'd avoid using a 1:1 control scheme, and it's exactly what they did... Anyway, there were rumours or leaked info about how the dungeons would not be like anything we've seen before in a Zelda, so we'll have to see how similar it is.

here's how ps3 can come from behind and pull off the stunning upset

Nintendo went back to its base, Sony needs to go back to ITS base. Therefore:

FFVII remake
persona 5
suikoden 6
no waggle
gta 5
new MH PS3 exclusive
Tales of Vesperia remake

yes i realize that this requires an act of god, though JUST FFVII remake makes it a stalemate.

How can Kid Icarus look that good on a handheld device? Seriously, that looked better than some of the Wii games.

this so much. my jaw dropped open a couple of times, no lie.

3ds has me really excited. worthwhile games by the looks of it, and glasses-less 3d has me alot more excited than i thought it would.

aside from that, nearly all of the new games announced i want to play. i couldnt even pick one above the rest. epic mickey is way on my radar now, and other m, zelda, and donkey kong all look like games ill buy at some point
