I would change Brick Break to Fire Blast or Ice Beam to hit all the things hard that take 4x damage from it Scizor/ferrothorn/Skarmory/Gliscor/Lando-T/Garchomp are all common answers to Tyranitar and even though most of them can still KO you 1 on 1 being able to hit them on the switch or at least prevent them from setting-up infront of you is very useful. It seems odd to use it without EV investment and a hindering nature, but it is a better option than Brick break that has very little utility outside of killing opposing tyranitars and has a very low base power it isn't the worst more especially since Super Power is unreleased, but its nothing good players would use.
Pursuit would also be a fantastic move over Brick Break, but i believe you would have to breed your tyranitar again to get it so this might not be an option.
As far as Teammates go something that can take the Fighting/Ground and Water type moves aimed at it would be good. You shouldn't use just one Pokemon to do that job instead search for Pokemon that can switch into Scizor, Lucario, Breloom, Blaziken as well as everything with Scald or will O wisp and are able to beat these pokemon reliably. Maybe have a look at tyranitars Page on smogon and read through the Lead and SDef set and use some of the Pokemon mentioned as team mates there.

Its for Gen V but most of it applies to Gen 6 as well.
