BW pretty much stomps every other theme.
RBY because it's a classic
Up next is RSE because it's somehow the most memorable. Maybe since it's because I started playing competitive mons. Oh and the JAA
GSC Trainer music was great actually but one part of the music feels a bit repetitive and only the beginning part is really catchy.
DPPt was just bad.
 
Black and White just demolishes every other theme. Its memorable, catchy and the song just gets me pumped in general. Bonus points for switching it up when your Pokemon has low HP. GSC and RBY are just awesome due to nostalgia factor/super catchyness(the remake versions are terrible though). I don't really have anything specific to say about the DP, but its significantly worse than the wild pokemon theme which just shouldn't happen.

I don't even want to touch ADV, its just bad.

Edit: I started listening to the song and got assraped by nostalgia. Blaziken used Blaze Kick! (oh god...)

Voted for first generation because of the final battle tune (you know when you fight your rival and he's the champion)

that made up for all the other mind numbing noise they called music in that game

this would probably be different if it were complete soundtrack, I don't care for gen 3's music much overall but I do like the basic trainer battle theme the most.
 
i havent played black and white yet because i keep putting off spending the money at gamestop because i really dislike spending money sooo

Gen. 5 is probably the best with 1 right behind it, but for me, there's just something about the Gen. 3 trainer battle music, it puts a smile on my face. Gen. 4 I found boring and I just can't take Gen. 2's, I cringe every time I hear it.(It's sort of interesting because Gold/Silver was the first pokemon games I played) But omg listning the Ecruteak/Cianwood City music is probably the most nostalgia I've ever felt. I remember turning the gba sounds on in Ecruteak and it brought tears to my eyes. ;_;
 
I feel so strange seeing as how I would have to go 4,2,3,1,5. No love for 2nd gen apparently?

4th gen also has super awesome legendary encounter music and also the best champion theme imo. Gen 1 sounds simple and clean and whimsical, and gen 5 and 3 are too bad either, but I can't stand the Gen 2 theme.
 
1>2>5>4>3

Gen 1 and 2 are easily the best, 5 and 4 are about the same and I don't like gen 3 that much.
