There’s a discussion on Japanese VGC twitter that the odds of double protects may have increased. Has anyone looked into that?
Funny you should mention that, I was in a battle against something that used Wide Guard and it used it twice in a row on a few occasions (I was using potions etc.).There’s a discussion on Japanese VGC twitter that the odds of double protects may have increased. Has anyone looked into that?
That doesn't count, Wide Guard cannot fail on continuous uses from Gen 6 onwards unless you do mean Protect.Funny you should mention that, I was in a battle against something that used Wide Guard and it used it twice in a row on a few occasions (I was using potions etc.).
Is this true of other damage boosting abilities? For example, would Hustle increase dynamax moves?- Gorilla Tactics + Dynamax has no damage boost or move locking.
At level 50, 156 Att Darmanitan-G uses 110 BP physical Max Hailstorm vs 75 Def Chewtle, does a total of 65 damage (leaves it with 47/112 HP). Damage roll should be 64-76 based on that having no damage boosts
NOOOOOOO CUSTAP BERRY IS ILLEGAL AGAIN FUUCCCCCCCCCKKKK
I'm curious what changed. Interesting thing I noticed in a signature moves video aswell: Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist Beam have very subtly different animations depending on whether they are used by Solgaleo or Necrozma.- Ditto-Zacian has a different Behemoth Blade animation than the real Zacian's Behemoth Blade.
I was wondering this as well since Safety Goggles is still in the game.Does utility umbrella just provide protection from sandstorm/hail damage, or does it also reduce damage from weather boosted attacks. If Eiscue holds a utility umbrella does ice face still regenerate? Similar question about swift swim and other weather abusers.
I can confirm that this does happen. Darts will hit the other Pokemon if your target protects itself.
Fishious Rend and Bolt beak doubles in power if you move first before your targetDo Bolt Beak and Fiendish Rend work like Analytic double in power when the foe switches out?
