TEAM BACON!!! A "My 1st Wi-Fi RMT"

TEAM BACON!!!!

Hi I’ve been lurking on Smogon for half-a-year now and I’ve finally registered and created an RMT. Oh BTW I really want to change my name so no commenting, I need to post a bit before THE MAN lets me change it.
This team has a moderate theme of Uncommon movestes, Hence Blaziken and SpecsMence.

Jirachi
jirachi.png

Jirachi @Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Jolly Nature
-Iron Head
-Trick
-Stealth Rock
-U-Turn
Unfortunately I had to replace Blaziken. )-8
The most common suicide leads, Azelf and Aerodactyl, are both cleanly 2HKOed by Iron Head, and with Jirachi's Serene Grace booting Iron Head's flinch rate, this means that 60% of the time these leads won't have the chance to lay down their Stealth Rock.

WashCycle
rotomwash.png

Rotom-W @Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 Spd
Timid Nature
-Thunderbolt
-Hydro Pump
-Shadow Ball
-Will-O-wisp
As suggested by Katherine.
Rapid Spinners like Forretress, Starmie, and Donphan can't get pass me. Will-o-wisp serves to lower the amount of damage that physical sweepers can do to you.
Katherine recommended him but I'm not sure if he will work on WI-Fi.

Ruki

lucario.png

Lucario (M) @Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 6 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Close Combat
-Extreemespeed
-Swords Dance
-Crunch
Lucario works great with a Life Orb attached. Extreme speed doesn't gain STAB, but will do more damage to enemies that aren't weak to Steel. Close Combat, on the other hand, provides great Fighting STAB and, with Crunch, should kill a lot of things.

Kimmy
blissey.png

Blissey (F) @Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 148 HP / 108 SpA / 252 Def
Bold Nature
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Thunder Wave
-Soft-boiled
The standard set for one of the most overused Pokémon of all time and the bane of any special sweeper. Her Sp. Attack isn't too shabby and can hurt some things with Ice Beam. But her support moves are what makes Blissey really shine. Soft-boiled keeps her alive and Thunder Wave paralyzes tough opponents and make them easier to finish off[/FONT]

Private

empoleon.png

Empoleon (M) @Petaya Berry
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 12 HP / 252 SpA / 244 Spe
Modest Nature
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Substitute
-Agility
Empoleon makes a good special wall, support Pokemon, and special attacker all in one. The ability to learn Grass Knot lets it take down enemy Water types like Milotic and Swampert. I needed a PHazer so it knows Roar.
Im going to change to SubPetaya set
I realized that with Blissey I had two Special Walls, so I changed this to a more offensive set.

Barla
salamence.png

Salamence(F) @Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 80 Atk / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Naive Nature
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast
-Earthquake
-Outrage

If people aren't using DDMence, then they are probably using a MixMence. MixMence can be EVed many different ways, but the goal is the same - break as many walls as you can. Draco Meteor is a surprise for physically defensive Pokemon who are expecting a Dragon Dance set. Earthquake is for Steels. Fire Blast hits Skarmory, Forretress, and Celebi. I didn't realize how much better MixMence was than SpecsMence.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
I found this team to be pretty useful.

Rate Away… :naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty:

Infernape can run the exact same set as blaziken but better.

Your team lacks a sweeper. Luke should be changed to a swords dance luke, empoleon should be changed to an agility sweeper, or salamence should be changed to a ddmence.

Also, your threat list is lacking. How does luke stop gengar when gengar can use focus blast or hp:fire? How does empoleon stop dugtrio when earthquake kills it? Plus stone edge batters salamence. Empoleon can't stop infernape, close combat ohko's. Salamence can't stop latias, latias outspeeds and ohko's with d-pulse.

I'm sorry, I'm not very good at the Threat List, a lot of them just are the 1 thing that might kill them, this team isn't the greatest. I did not come to Smogon to make enemies, I came for help, I'm not good at making teams, I usually use teams others have made. I'd like it, Ubers are Awesome, if you could suggest how I can fix my Threat List.

This team is really weak to a lot of common threats, so I'll tell you what they are in this paragraph. Firstly, nearly any variant of Metagross can come in on most of your Pokemon and KO them. You also have a massive Infernape weakness, and a Salamence weakness, too, along with a Gyarados weakness.

Okay, to handle your Metagross, Gyarados, and Infernape weaknesses, I suggest running Rotom-A, and more specifically, Rotom-W (Hydro Pump). A physically defensive variant can easily come in on Metagross and Infernape and Will-O-Wisp Metagross and Gyarados (or outright OHKO Gyarados with Thunderbolt) and OHKO Infernape with Hydro Pump or 2HKO with Thunderbolt. I suggest using it over Gliscor, who isn't doing much but setting up Stealth Rock and walling Lucario, who your Lucario can revenge-kill.

So, now, without Gliscor, you don't have Stealth Rock on this team. Therefore, I suggest switching Blaziken to the anti-lead Choice Scarf Jirachi set. You can Trick your Choice Scarf onto a set-up lead or Stealth Rocker, and set up your own SR. With Ice Punch, it also gives you a back-up answer to Salamence. Blaziken wasn't doing too much other than taking out suicide leads, which Jirachi can do with Trick or Iron Head.

Also, don't listen to the above poster, oblivian_ty_7. You can handle Scizor with your Salamence, easily. Oh, and when people said that you should fix your threat list, they probably meant explain how each Pokemon counters the opposition, not just put a move that can feasibly handle it. And also, Blissey can normally handle most Latias and Gengar, and Dugtrio isn't too much of a threat with Lucario's ExtremeSpeed.

Sorry for my short rate, I have to go soon.

well then you've got the Secret Key you have access to the Rotom-A forms. do a lil bit of searching on the web and you'll easily find how to change his form

EDIT: it's not on Wi-Fi. that's how you get the Key itself legitimately

Before I turn in for the night, I'm gonna put one last post. I switched Blaziken and Gliscor for Washtom (which I'm not sure can be used on Wi-Fi) and Jirachi. If someone could suggest how I COULD use Blaziken please tell me, if you can't suggest a Blaziken moveset, don't post about a replacement.

haha your salamence is EXACTLY like myne =P

Your team is looking good. You have alot on your threat list though.

A side note on your lucario, it might be better if it had a jolly nature, but thats just me. I use a modest lucario and i find it to be outrun alot o.o

Thats my 2 cents, good luck with your team =D

Hmmh.

Specsmence.

Hmmh.

The surprise factor could be great, but other than that Mixmence does a much better job.

I recommend this set.

Salamence @ Life Orb
Naive Nature
252 Spe/ 232 Sp. Atk/ 28 Atk
Draco Meteor
Outrage
FireBlast
EQ

With Naive you get the jump on Neutral Speed 100's, and neutral 110's, and you tie with other +Speed 100's.

Since you have Blissey, you don't need Empoleon to be a Special Wall. Go with the Agility SubPetaya set.
