Nah, Bolton stuff>batman costume, plus I cba buying one. (Just look for the ginger kid very high up with the Ricardo Gardner shirt, with the signings of a load of players from '07 on and wearing my Bolton vs. Sporting Lisbon (UEFA cup last 16) scarf, if I can find it)

Also, it's recognise

Full Time Prem results today

Blackpool 1-3 Arsenal
Aston Villa 1-0 Newcastle

Only change in the table is that Villa move up to 14th, jumping Burn and Brum.
Arsenal 7 points behind United now, but remember that Arsenal do have a game in hand, plus they face each other quite soon.

stupid idea holding the FA cup semis in wembley, the same weekend you got 4 lots of fans going to wembly, you got scousers going to the emirates and the london marathon
the traffic will be horrid lol

Lee, apparently Jose Enrique is a done deal. Phil Thompston was on Norwegian Premier League Channel earlier today.

yay

My friend had gone on one of these "jan molby evenings/meeting" (an occasion where fans can meet him and listen to his stories or something), and molby was talking about transfers, and he also said that the enrique deal is pretty much a done deal - from a close source. but everything still isn't clear yet

Interesting...we have no reason to sell him really because our kitty is full atm (thanks for that btw) but it might be wise to rip y'all off again if we fear he won't sign a new contract. How does 20 million sound? ;p

oh, and he's likely landed Liverpool in a bit of trouble by insinuating you've been doing a lil wheelin' and dealin' outside of the transfer window...

I think Man City and Liverpool will draw tonight, but I'm more interested in this:

I'm pretty sure the following players will make returns to the starting line-up for Man Utd:

Edwin van der Sar, Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney. Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra will keep their places. I'm kind of expecting Antonio Valencia, Luis Nani, and Park Ji-Sung to all start, along with John O'Shea.

Kuszczak; Rafael, Smalling; Anderson, Scholes; Berbatov, Hernandez
---
van der Sar
O'Shea Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Carrick Giggs
Valencia Park Nani
Rooney

Malouda Drogba Anelka
Lampard Ramires
Essien
Cole Terry Ivanovic Bosingwa
Cech

---
Turnbull; Ferreira, Alex; Benayoun, Mikel; Kalou, Torres

Gibson could make the bench for Man Utd, while Zhirkov could for Chelsea. I'm not expecting anything much different.

Hopefully Man Utd can hold on. It's a good advantage to be 1-0 with an Away goal, but it's a dangerous lead. If Chelsea manage to score first it's a level playing field right away.

hahahahahahahah bartman hahahahahahha

also leeds are playing pretty poorly so i can't really laugh too much :(

torres disallowed goal: great stuff. even motty tried to give him the goal!

hahahahahahahah bartman hahahahahahha

indeed xD

So much to discuss, it's been a great week for me as a lfc fan. It's safe to say we have the most dangerous strike-force in the PL at the moment, especially after we crushed Man city at anfield, too bad there was no support from the midfield yesterday and suarez finally had an off day (but he was still threatening which shows his caliber as a player)

LOL @ le arse. I'm glad arsene whinger finally got put in his place by the King because i've lost all the respect i had for him after he didn't shake kenny's hand.

Jay spearing is the man of the match against arsenal, a very mascherano-esque performance.

kenny telling wenger to piss off - classic

It was, but where's the 2 match ban? :O

Anyway, yeah, I'm obviously a bit gutted that City beat United. City edged it on the day, so fair enough. But, I'd rather lose that Semi-Final than a League match at present, or the Champions League Semi-Final, even though it was against City.

Hopefully we turn over Newcastle tomorrow, I'd expect Rooney to come back in, probably Giggs as well. I'd be torn between going with Berbatov and Carrick again, or letting someone else start. Even though Rooney + Hernandez has worked really well as of late, I'd start with Berbatov just so his confidence isn't dented further.

Michael Owen needs to start getting involved in League matches now, otherwise even if we do win the League, he won't make enough appearances to earn a medal (wouldn't that be a massive kick in the teeth?). Although, I'm sure some people would find it hilarious that Owen spent all that time in the Premier League with Liverpool, never got a medal, moved to United and won it, but still didn't get it a medal.. xD

Bolton got well and truly smashed. Arsenal bottled it again, as usual. No chance. Chelsea will probably pip them to second.

WHY does every lead go away.....

Now Man U pretty much have the title, and they wont have to prepare for FA Cup anymore

Even for an Arsenal fan it was kind of funny to see Dalglish put down Arsene

It was, but where's the 2 match ban? :O

Rooney looked at the camera and started swearing on purpose whilst king kenny wasn't directing what he was saying at the camera (the whole world basically)

we always hear players swear and 'arry redknapp does it all the time. What Rooney did was a whole different situation.

---

BTW, bale being pfa of a player is a questionable choice, a bit of a joke to be perfectly honest.

Well, what can you say about that? We were diabolical yesterday, none of our players turned up. Stoke ran all over us-they played to their strengths excellently+didn't let us have more than 1 decent shot. We are capable of much more, as we have proved many times. But they wanted it more+capitalised on any mistake we made. So, all in all, a 5-0 result is fair+reflective of how badly we played...

It was just a huge waste of time and money, we'll just have to try again next year and focus on the league for now...

I hate to say it, but I'm a bit embarrased to be a Bolton fan at the moment.

And for those of you who don't know;

Full Time Result

Bolton Wanderers 0-5 Stoke

To be fair, I watched the highlights and it seemed like Bolton had a couple of chances, though they were all pretty useless.

Also Brighton are league one champions, that's two championships for sussex in one year :D

it doesnt say anything in the FA rules about swearing INTO the camera, it is swearing in general

and dont we all wish we could tell wenger to do that
and tyvm scousers for practially handing us that 19th title on a silver platter

Aston Villa is finally doing more than shitty. A bit disappointed about Sunderland, though. They were like sixth place, I believe. Dunno how much of an impact Bent had.

and tyvm scousers for practially handing us that 19th title on a silver platter

liverpool play to win. we don't hand the title to anyone, remember when we comfortably beat you at anfield.

And it doesn't matter, there's nobody in the league atm that deserve the title more than Man Utd and Arsenal were never up to the task anyway. we'll win next year, and I'm confident we will (even alex ferguson said that we were genuine title contenders next season with kenny in charge).

With all the injuries and the youth team starting a lot of matches as well as having a very average squad that lacks depth, Liverpool is one of the clubs that picked up the most points.

ahh yes that "suspicious" backpass.
to be fair liverpoo did screw chelsea over selling them torres :P
wonder if they will buy carrick for 50 million

as expected you twats:

No ban

In other words:

Swear at a cameraman - 2 game ban.

Swear at a referee/players/other manager/at fans - Perfectly fine.

FA are a joke, just saying.

The PFA Player of the Year being Gareth Bale is also a joke. Vidic, Parker, and Adam have been consistent basically all season. Bale and van der Vaart had a good few months, then either did nothing or were injured. Nasri had a good start, but his form drifted away as well.

I agree that Wilshere deserved the Young Player of the Year award, I just feel sorry for Nani as he's probably been the best player in the League this season.

The awards being handed out before the end of the season is a weird, too.

Regardless, I hope we bounce back and smash Newcastle tonight.

Your missing the point Kenny swore at a manager with no indication he knew the camera was there, and he got caught.

Rooney deliberately went straight up the camera got as close as he could and swore.

Bale winning Player of the season was a joke he hasn't even been spurs best player should have gone to Scott parker or Nasri, Nani should have been nominated.

It's amazing what 1 game against a heavily offensive minded RWB can do. [Maicon]

Exactly my point. Well said.

The whole Bale, Van Der vart situation and spurs situation in general is basically the media's fault. The media just won't fucking stop sucking uncle harry's old wrinkled dick. all that shit about how he took a team at the bottom at the league and made them a CL team, forgetting how much money was actually spent on players

Bale has barely done anything this year and doesn't deserve to win at all.

one of these: Tevez / Nasri / Parker / Nani should've won. my personal pick would be Nani, even though i hate him for weeping like a baby when carragher tackled him.

Edit:
It's amazing what 1 game against a heavily offensive minded RWB can do. [Maicon]

not to mention that maicon was in terrible form
