The 6 Deadly Sins >OU RMT<

I havn't played shoddy in quite a while. And since I have a new computer my old team files are gone, so with a fresh outlook I made this team. I centered it around my Dragonite, because I've been excited about using Extreme Speed.

My only request is that you don't suggest stupid standard move sets. If you do then you're basically ruining the essence of this team, which is the element of "Omfg that Lucario just Blaze Kicked Scizor up tha butt."

But if a move would better cover my team's weaknesses, or its counters then please suggest. Just don't be so uncreatively standard. D:

dragonite.png

Envy

224 HP / 84 Atk / 200 Spe
Adamant
Leftovers

Earthquake
Extreme Speed
Dragon Dance
Dragon Claw

Extreme Speed be my favorite pokemon move since Arcanine introduced it in 2nd Gen. And I was very sad when there were no more Dratinis that could learn it anymore. It comes in useful for Dragonite these days with the advent of the Focus Sash. It's funny when Azelf get all pwned before they can Explode on me. It also comes in handy for stopping other Extreme Speeding Lucarios, and low health Bullet Punching Scizors. I think I'll just keep him as my pure physical attacker. He's more bulky than strong because I want him to have something that Salamance doesn't.

lucario.png

Spite

252 Atk / 252 SpA / 6 Def
Jolly
Choice Scarf

Close Combat
Dark Pulse
HP ICE
Blaze Kick

I scarfed him. Its a big surprise for the typically faster opponents. More specifically its hilarious to HP ICE a Salamance right in the mouth, which is why I carry that totally weird move. Lucario is my mixed attacker and my best revenge killer. Blaze Kick is a huge surprise for some pokemon, and I like carrying it. If you have a better suggestion then I'll hear it, but I really like Blaze Kick. I chose him because I wanted a steel type with my sexy Dragonite, and I thought about using Magnezone, but you know I love Lucario and I've never had the team slot to use him before.

gengar.png

Cruelty

252 SpA / 252 Spe / 6 Hp
Timid
Expert Belt

Energy Ball
Shadow Ball
Thunder Bolt
HP Ground

This Gengar is crazy. I like carrying Energy Ball for ground types that are strong against physical attacks, like Hippo, Donphan, etc. Its also the easiest way to kill Swampert, which takes forever to kill sometimes. HP Ground is me wishing that Gengar carried Earth Power. Ah...anyways. I'm considering using Sludge Bomb for annoying Grass types & others that are neutral to it I suppose. But tell me what you think, and also if you know a better item for me please tell.

suicune.png

Lust

228 HP / 64 SpA / 216 Spe
Timid
Leftovers

Calm Mind
Substitute
Surf
Ice Beam

Suicune is very solid, and fun to use. She's my bulky thang on the special defense side of things. I know she isn't a WALL, but she's pretty nasty when theres some Calm Minds under the belt. Or ribbons...in suicune's case. I'm having some move slot syndrome here. But I like sub because of the status absorbage, which is usually something people try on Calm Minding Suicunes. Its a shame suicune doesn't have like, Recover or something awesome. I don't want to put rest in there though, because then I'm stuck with using Sleep Talk. I considered using HP Electric, but I don't want to sacrafise Ice Beam. You tell me which move would be more beneficial.

umbreon.png

Corruption

252 HP / 200 Atk / 56 SpD
Sassy
Leftovers

Curse
Sucker Punch
Moonlight
Toxic

Ah I wants to marry this Umbreon. Is that weird? :B Don't suggest Payback. If you suggest Payback then you obviously didn't read my team anyways, so go away. I WANT SUCKER PUNCH. If you have better EVs to suggest then do. But I like this move set the way it is. Sucker Punch rocks because it ignores the Slowness from Curse. And Umbreon doesn't care, because Toxic isn't something you HAVE to land the first hit on, and he can still heal with Moonlight. And Umbreon is really mean with Sucker Punch damage on anything that doesn't resist it. Toxic is a favorite move of mine, and its the first thing I try on pokemon that I know will be hard to kill.

hitmontop.png

Malace

252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant
Leftovers

Bulk Up
Rapid Spin
Revenge
Bullet Punch

Hitmontop is more annoying to kill than I thought he would be. Weird huh? Revenge has beastly power + technician and STAB. And I want to keep Bulk Up. Hitmon has has surprise team sweeps if people mistakenly let him set up. Hitmonstop obviously serves as my spinner, which works pretty well with Rapid Spin. Hitmontop works well for getting some fast Psychics to show themselves, so that Umbreon can absorb Psychic and then return a Sucker Punch

Kay please include a x/10 somewhere in your post. Dats why its called Rate mah Team. :3

Teh Threats

Azelf: Dragonite be loling at Azelf with Extreme Speed. Same with Hitmon's Bullet Punch, and Lucario's Choice Scarf, and Umbreon's Sucker Punch.

Breloom: Gengar can't really come in and pwn him, but Breloom might want to switch, since he can't do huge amounts of dmg. A better response would come from Dragonite. If Breelom hasn't set up his Sub yet then Lucario can Blaze Kick him upside down.

Celebi: Lucario could threaten a weakened celebi, but I wouldn't pit him up against one at full health. I'd most likely let Umbreon take care of celebi, since he has Moonlight and Sucker Punch which is backed up by his Curse power.

Dugtrio: Suicune. Dragonite is probably bulky enough to withstand Dugtrio. I don't see many Dugs though. :/

Electivire: Lucario is faster on the revenge kill. Hitmon has withstood Electrivire many times with near full health, and returned an OHKO with Revenge.

Empoleon: I've faced more than a few of these. Hitmon can kill one easy. So can Lucario, though I wouldn't switch him in while Emplo is attacking. Dragonite isn't afraid of switching in though, since I can EQ much faster than Emplo can Ice Beam.

Flygon: Lucario revenge kills with HP Ice. Umbreon isn't afraid of Flygon, he can't come all out and threaten to OHKO, but he can withstand him long enough to kill it with Sucker Punch.

Gengar: Meh. Umbreon can Sucker Punch it easy. Hitmon could take a lower health one down with Bullet Punch. I'd be afraid to use my own Gengar against one.

Gliscor: Suicune. Lucario's fast HP Ice, if Suicune is dead.

Gyarados: I mean, Gengar could T-Bolt it, but thats a Gyradose unboosted. Dragonite could kind of survive it's water fall and Dragon Claw or Extreme Speed it, but thats not really a sure-fire counter.

Heatran: Suicune. Lucario could revenge kill. Dragonite isn't afraid of a Scarfer D:< !

Heracross: Lucario could probably revenge kill. And Dragonite resists Megahorn, Close Combat and such things. To be honest I havn't seen a Heracross in a while. He can't exactly "tear through my team" though.

Infernape: Suicune could Surf and survive a Grass Knot.

Jirachi: Suicune resists its Iron Head, which is it's most common annoying little piss. I love subbing on the T-Wave and then Calm Minding for a Surf. I've seen Jirachis with T-Punch, but it doesn't hurt too much. Dragonite could switch in and EQ it, but I'm not sure if it would OHKO. Usually I kill it with suicune and have never had to use Dnite.

Kingdra: I usually see DD Kingdras and Rain Kingdras. Dragonite resists those two goodies. I rarely ever see Ice Beam, but if I did! I would send in Umbreon to have a stall war. :/

Latias: Latias is annoying. It doesn't like Suicune though, since I can Calm Mind too. Almost all my pokemon can hurt Latias quite badly though.

Lucario: I'd have to catch it before it SD'd. My own Lucario is much faster with the Scarf though, even if it is SD'd. I'd have to revenge kill it, I don't think anyone of mine could switch in on a boosted Lucario

Machamp: He's so bulky. D: I don't have any COUNTERS to Machamp. I would kill it sure enough, but not immediantly.

Magnezone: If one tried to trap Lucario he'd be all like SKADOOSH. D:<
Hitmon kills Mags dead with revenge, and Dragonite noms it pretty good with EQ. I've also killed them with Gengar's HP Ground.

Mamoswine: If it's banded Dragonite or Gengar would switch in on the EQ and keel it. But if it's not banded then I'd send in Suicune and try to kill it, though Earthquake would hurt alot. Umbreon can Curse on one right off the gun and heal, and hope Mamo doesn't crit before he can Sucker Punch.

Metagross: I luhvs Metygross. :3 Anyways, Suicune would take advantage of his lower SpD with Surf. And Gengar could revenge kill one with HP Ground, aslong as Meta doesn't have Bullet Punch. I wouldn't like to attack it from the physical side, but Dragonite has EQ and Lucario can hurt it with most of it's moves.

Ninjask: Bullet Punch, Extreme Speed, etc.

Porygon-Z: I used this thing forever. Lucario could kill it no problem, and Hitmon would kill it with Revenge if he wasn't killed. Umbreon resists it real well, they usually don't carry HP Fighting *Mine Did*, and it doesn't even do much damage to Umbreon anyways.

Rhyperior: Gengar's Energy Ball, Suicune's Surf, and everything else can kill this one. :P

Roserade: Lucario's Blaze Kick. No one else does Super Effective damage, but roserade isn't the bulkiest pokemon ever anyways.

Rotom-A: Annoying pokemon. I usually switch to Umbreon and he impales it with its own stupid status crap with Synchronise. Then I'll Sucker Punch / Toxic it. Other than that Lucario can revenge kill it with Dark Pulse, & Gengar has Shadow Ball.

Salamence: Lucario's HP Ice. And Suicune.

Scizor: Blaze Kick. Suicune. Dragonite.

Snorlax: Lucario, no problemo for revenge killing or switching in on it setting up. Umbreon can come in and Curse up and heal, and also has Toxic for the Thick Fat Snorlaxes. And Hitmon can screw Snorlax over.

Starmie: Usually I bring in Umbreon to face Starmie. Lucario can bring a weakened one down, but can't OHKO it with Dark Pulse. Its a pokemon I have to wear down a bit, all in all.

Suicune: I'd try to take a large chuck of it's health out with Gengar, since most carry Calm Mind. After that I would bring in Umbreon's special defense bulk, and Curse up with it, and try to Sucker Punch it hard. But I have no real counters to Suicune; I have and can beat it though.

Togekiss: I just bring in Suicune or Umbreon so that I can out-bulk it. Dragonite and Lucario can do good damage to one and so can Gengar.

Tyranitar: T-Tar rocks. Lucario keels it dead. And so do most of my pokemon for that matter.

Weavile: Oh its easy to revenge kill with my priority moves. Suicune can switch in on it's attacks too. Unless it has like a few Swords Dances ofcourse. :P

Yanmega: Dragonite. Lucario can also come in before it has a million speed boosts.

Zapdos: My best shot would be Lucario, but I don't have anything for Zappydos except whittling it down with Sucker Punch and then Extreme Speeding it. :/

This team is very interesting. I would have several ideas for moveslots, but since that would ruin this team, we'll keep them creative. You mentioned you had a weakness to Machamp, and I agree, he's very hard to counter due to his bulkiness. This team also has a weakness to Gyrados, which you also mentioned. To remedy this and to keep this team creative, I'm going to suggest a UU Pokemon that counters both extremely well. Instead of Suicune, try running this set.

Slowbro @ Leftovers
252 Hp / 252 Def / 4 SpDef, Bold
Ability: Own Tempo
-Slack Off
-Surf
-Psychic
-Toxic

The moveset isn't very creative, but he's UU so I guess it's OK. Anyways, with the ability own tempo, Dynamic Punch cannot confuse him, making Machamp much easier to deal with. Your Psychic 2HKO's even the RestTalk set, so he can't just rest off damage. This is also a brilliant counter to Gyrados, becasue you can toxic him in the the face and stall turns of poison- with a life orb, he won't be around for long.

Hope I helped.

Thanks for posting and helping~

I've used Slowbro in OU and he's lots of fun to use, especially with stockpile. :B Sounds like a good idea, I'll run a test on tha little buddy. & If you do have some moves for me that provide superior coverages then I'd like to atleast consider it, and thankyou. :3

You might want to run a differnt Speed+ Nature on Lucario because Jolly weakens your Special attacks which you use three of. I would reccomend Either Hasty or Naive for maximum attacking power with the speed boost on both sides of the spectrum.

Sucker punch is cool, but you get set up on badly by sub users. Scizor in particular u-turn/superpowers the heck out of umbreon. Umbreon is going to want to focus on team support, because even with curse, 65 base attack and sucker punch isn't exactly hurting. You could throw baton pass in there to get curses to hitmontop, or the (standard) wish to help because no one but umbreon has healing and moonlight is very unreliable.

The lucario is also really cool, but with no speed you get outrun by positive base 125s if that matters to you. (aerodactyl, weavile, jolteon)

For suicune, surf + ice beam is really only walled by empoleon, who can't hurt you at all.

Don't try sludge bomb, the coverage is silly. Ghost + fighting is unresisted, so that could go over HP ground, which doesn't hit much but heatran, which gengar already (sometimes) KO's with focus blast.

The last thing would be fire blast on dragonite to hit metagross and the like and giving the ground + dragon + fire that is also quite cool. Setting up as a lead is very unlikely as most leads will end up with low HP or worse.

hope this helped.

Hah! Someone else who tries HP Ground on Gengar. I posted something about that in the OU Moveset Thread: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62724&page=24.

Life Orb boosted HP Ground does 91.6-107% on Timid Heatran. Without Stealth Rock he may miss out on the Ohko on those certain Heatran. But many are Naive or Rash so you should be alright.

I am not sure you need to lock Lucario into 1 move when you have so much Priority. Just give him a Life Orb or Expert Belt instead. If you really, really want to be sure then give him Extremespeed too.

Overall you probably want Stealth Rock somewhere. It will make your whole situation easier. You won't be needing Slowbro to counter Gyarados. I don't know how you would go about getting it in there, maybe use Infernape instead of Lucario (Fire Blast>Blaze Kick).

Thanks everyone, and I didn't notice the whole Jolly thing on Lucario, I'ma Retard :P
I'll update my team after I test it out, thankyou. -is too tired to make a speech-
