"Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik contacted all 31 other teams in an attempt to trade Freeman, sources said.

While the initial plan was to retain Freeman until closer to the trade deadline in case another team suffered an injury at quarterback and Freeman became marketable, the organization decided to separate from Freeman because too much damage was being inflicted on coach Greg Schiano and the situation with one player was undermining the focus of the entire team, according to sources."

This might be the most disgusting coach in NFL history.

Never liked Schiano. The "incident" at the end of Game 2 vs. the Giants last year and his response to it post-game interview should definitely tell people something about him.

So Bucs are "ready for Teddy" then? Or whoever emerges as the #2 pick I guess depending on who Jacksonville grabs.

It's weird, back a few years ago, they were the much-hyped "young Bucs", now they have some decent veteran talent, but find ways to stink it up still.

Greg Schiano is a horrible coach and worse person. I hope the Saints pick him up, lock up home-field advantage by Week 16, then start Josh Freeman so Freeman can put the cap on Tampa Bay's 0-16 season. He single-handedly did all he could to destroy Josh Freeman's career. If he benched Freeman, that would be no big deal; Freeman hasn't exactly been good this year. But he benched Freeman, fined him twice, kicked him out of team meetings, publicly humiliated him, then cut him after ruining his trade value.

If Schiano was really the reason behind Freeman's drug-program leak, he shouldn't be fired. He should be tarred and feathered at the halftime of the Super Bowl and personally banned from football by Roger Goodell for "conduct detrimental to the human species".

Also, the Eagles win the East convincingly, Detroit snaps its losing streak at Green Bay, and Denver and New Orleans will be the only undefeated teams next week. Those two teams are also the best two teams in football (Seattle a close third).

Them Browns can't catch a break it seems, back to square 1 with Weeden. Which sucks in a way, Hoyer had a good story going being the hometown boy playing for the home team and whatnot.

I dropped Wilson for Hoyer in 2/4 fantasy leagues to replace my backup qb. Betting on whichever god Cleveland wronged to have forgiven their past crimes was a mistake.

Joeckel out for the season with a fractured ankle...one game after the Jags traded their other left tackle.

Jags can't catch any breaks lol

Indy now 2-0 vs two of the top Super Bowl contenders. I had my doubts about them this season but Im really impressed by them so far.

Saints have looked very much like a contender under new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan. We all know about their potent offense, but they have at least a respectable D to back it up this season.

MOP MIGHT HAVE CALLED THE 80 YARD TERRANCE WILLIAMS PASS, BUT I CALLED THE PICK

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Roflmao, Broncos win. Definitely a big scoring game by both sides, no love got the Cowboys though so happy to see Broncos win.

you can all go to hell, brb going to burn down a barn

Tony Romo is completing 70% with 1500 yards, 13 TD, 2 INT, and like ?1 fumble, and the Cowboys are 2-3 :( fucking passing league

Would've been just wrong if Tony Romo had made the all-time passing record, instead he threw a vintage late game INT.

Maybe if Dallas, Philly or the Skins go 7-9 and win the division maybe we might see less NFC East prime time games. One can hope.

Anyone else get the feeling the ending was rigged? I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but...

I would agree with you but I don't think all the bribes in the world would be worth the reputation smattering Tony Romo is about to take.
