I do not see why you would possibly need to tell some hero to leave the thread over this, it is not like I was being anything like nice to him. He does not understand the value of a touchdown versus an interception, but how many people do intuitively understand the worth of an interception? Most probably think it is 5-7 points...
Calling 43/19 > 37/11 is still kind of a stretch considering the ratio of the latter is far superior. Once all points of comparison have enough raw stats for an adequate sample size, the aggregate should take a backseat to efficiency. If Peyton had thrown another 90 passes to bring his attemps up to par with Brees in 2012 while maintaining the same TD:INT ratio, 43/13 > 43/19. ;[ Kinda funny coming from the guy who poo-poos his own Emmitt Smith when discussing all-time RBs due to his mediocre YPC. :(
Nonetheless, interesting stuff to read and if you were merely illustrating the point that TDs > INTs as far as value is concerned, alright I'll let you off the hook. And though I disagree, if your beef with Manning is his playoff performance that's your prerogative.
I still don't know why they just don't switch to Jason Campbell already. Brian Hoyer is injured, Josh Freeman is terrible and is already signed onto the Vikings; so Cleveland is stuck with Brandon Weeden. It's terrible because if the Browns have a good QB they can form a surprisingly decent team. Benjamin can run, Cameron and Gordon can actually make catches, and their defense can hold it's own. It's just with Weeden, everything about Cleveland falls off. There are so many things I still don't understand about Brandon Weeden
1) why would a team draft a 28 year old rookie QB in the first round? I just can't see any justification for that
2) how is he still starting. Literally anyone could do what he's doing. Tim Tebow would probably be an improvement over him. Both can't throw, but at least Tebow can run!
Like srs.
