Maybe I am merely biased because I love Barber so much, but Jones seems to just be superfluous at this point. Obviously, I do not want Barber to burn himself out, so it would be nice to have at least a talented backup, but there is no need for him to split 50/50 duties with Jones.

I can agree with Westbrook #1 and Adrian Peterson #2 then, but if Westbrook is higher, then LT was#3 at best this season in my estimation!
 
my roommate is huge cowboys fan, so he's like you kirby. he doesnt seen the need to split the carries 50/50 between barber and jones. in terms of superfluity, i think jones becomes a free agent this year.
 
Well, I think Jones is not going to accept not being a number one running back, which he can be for some team that really needs the help, but just not when you have the amazing Marion Barber ;) The Bears could try picking him up, but, of course, that would necessitate admitting they made a mistake releasing Thomas Jones, and Cedric Benson would obviously be reticent to share time again.

I wish the Cowboys game was first and not last so that I could get over being nervous for the game. I was not nervous till this morning, and now I cannot stop being worried!

I unno I like for Addai to be up there somewhere...=[ He also missed like 2 games I think? And didn't play much! But everyone seems to like stats and I'm lazy so whatever!
 
i dont think chicago wants jones. they have benson and the other adrian peterson. they want to focus on getting a QB, cuz the ones they have are ass. i think they'll focus on mcnabb, but i think he'll be wearing purple next year

Madden rehashed Jack Del Rio's choice of David Garrard over Byron Leftwich and capped it off with this beauty: "When you have a quarterback controversy, if you waive a guy, there's no going back." Now that's why he makes the big bucks, folks.
 
Madden is awesome despite his Maddenisms, or perhaps partly because of them. :P He states the obvious a lot, but his explanations can be helpful to more casual viewers who just happen to be watching the game. Most importantly, he's entertaining and a beloved football icon.

my favorite madden moment was during a patriots game this year. maybe against the ravens, i forget.


but moss had scored a td from brady, and madden goes, "see now moss didn't even run a route there, he just kind of ran up field, and brady threw 'em the ball, and then he scored a touchdown."

Why would Pete Carroll even speak to the Atlanta Falcons? All it is going to do is unsettle his team a little! He has a great thing going, and I highly doubt he would be as beloved as an NFL coach as he is as USC's coach.

Terry Bradshaw weighing in on the Jessica Simpson thing; could it become any more overblown! Tony Romo dating a super successful gorgeous woman is a good thing! It is going to make him happier and make him play better, most likely (I mean, I guess some people need to be 'angry to play well,' but that applies to players dishing out hits, not ones trying to avoid them!)

It wasn't the Ravens iirc. I think that might have been the one where they played the Steelers, or it might have been when they played the Bills.

Lol that was a great game. I actually was scared for the first one minute and nine seconds of that game but i knew he would turn it around eventually. Btw on that list of top 5 RB's im throwing Grant in there. im gonna go out and say- Westbrook, LT, Grant, AP, Barber. in that order. Why is AP behind Grant? He got shut down in multiple games. @Green Bay, @San Fran, Vs Wash come to mind...and i never really looked at the stats for all the games but w\e you get the point. He is sitll dangerous, i mean the guy is in the top 5 Hb's in the league. I just think that Ryan Grant really has become an elite back. As for barber he has dreadlocks, and i like the way he runs downhill and uses that stiff arm. Ryan grant still runs the ball better than he does though, and on a good day so does AP. Grant is better than AP because he is more consistant. He just had some bad luck and rookie mistakes today. All of a sudden the Packers offense is evolving and they can pretty much do anything they want to, and have it work. It was nice to see the screen game come back into play as well.
 
As for tomarrow i think it will be the Colts and the G men. The Bolts just got lucky last time they played the colts, and the weather was bad, and it was still that close. lol If that game would have been agaisnt anyone else the score would have been a blow out in the colts face. I'm still not convinced that the bolts are legit, along with seattle which was pretty much proven today lol. What they beat like 2 teams with winning records? Cowboys limped into the playoffs, and i think the g men will just be to much for them. Dallas just pops out as me and screams "im just lucky and should be a 3-4 seed team"

Well hmmmmm, lets see........where to begin. Well first to everyone that selected the jags....WRONG. Pass rush, I never saw it.....so where was that oh so perfect, great running game? hmmmm.....he will truck them all? well didnt MJD get stuffed? David was nice, he managed the game, 278 yards. HE DID have a great game but as i've been preaching the entire time....clutch play in the 4th, which David failed to do. Yea I agree, that weather was a HUGE factor, yup nice call. Also to everyone that claimed Brady would be pressured...26-28, 262 yards with around what five blitzes? Laurence M. was torching the edges all game long. Your not going to beat the pats giving up 400+ yards. Another AFC championship game folks, come on Colts we want our revenge.

The Patriots showed they are playoff ready. Now it's Indy or S.D. we will just have to wait for that game. Though kudos to the Jaguars did exactly what they wanted to do for 3 quarters. It was a fun, intense game.

Well I believe you all know the rest....no need for me to go further....though I am pleased to say i'm 2-0 in this round so far =]
