Even if Sean Taylor makes it out of his current state, he has to be REALLY worried about the fact that he is for some reason being deliberately targeted by someone.

This was NOT a random attack. Random attackers imo don't go to this kind of trouble to look for a line and cut it.

And there were robbery attempts on his house in the previous week, which is why he was there in the first place (I think)
yeah..he didn't make it.

your completely right but the reason he was home was because he was injured and he wanted to see a certain doctor to get a report on his knee.

The robbers were going to strike the house again thinking he wouldn't be home but he was which is why he was shot.

Sean Taylor Rest in Peace. He was a great safety.

Sean Taylor was in my mind one of the best safties i've ever seen. He even got Favre for the record. Damn that moron who shot him. R.I.P. Sean Taylor

Reading about how much Sean matured over the last year and how he really embraced fatherhood just makes this whole affair all the sadder. Rest in Peace Sean Taylor; my heart goes out to your family.

As a Skins fan, this hurts me a lot.

It was weird...I went to bed last night after hearing that he was responsive and presumably conscious (the hand squeeze thing wasn't a reaction, it was when someone said to squeeze his hand), and I thought "yes, he'll at least be alive, and maybe he'll make something close to a full recovery" and "if Bruschi could do it, why not Sean Taylor?"

I wake up in the morning and he's dead.

And the shame is that it wasn't even a random act - it might be easier to swallow. It was an assasination - his house was scouted, there was a previous robbery to draw him back to the house, it happened at a time when it WOULD be more likely he'd be at home...

And I think that maybe if not for the ATV bullshit (how do fucking robbers get to accuse their victim of brandishing a gun in their face?) he'd have a firearm of his own and be able to defend himself...

Just a shame. Again, rest in peace Sean Taylor.

How about the Jaguars, they're number 5 on ESPN's power rankings. Garrard is doing a good job, and showing that they made the right decision in getting rid of Leftwitch [Who did terrible for the falcons the other night..] and as a longtime Gators fan [due to Family in florida and fathers college ties; fuck you bandwagoners] i'm excited to see Fred Taylor doing pretty well and not being so fragile.

^Your best post by far, despite negative things said about you [me included] we can at least tell you're a real football fan. R.I.P. Sean

I kind of cannot understand how anyone can actually feel sad from a person they never met dying. Sean Taylor's death is an awful murder, but people die all the time...

Cowboys versus Packers, I wish we could watch.

yes the Cowboys won.. 11-1 baby! Even though Favre left the game I think Aaron Rogers was a stud. Not many back up QBs can start the way he did under those circumstances. I wish the best luck for Brett to get back to health but for now I think the Packers are in good hand with Rogers.

I had to listen to the game on the radio.. it wasnt too bad but I wish I had the NFL Network. Not as epic when you cant judge for yourself whats happening on the field.. esp that one pass interferance that lead to a Cowboy's TD.

and Capt Kirby.. its not that every is sad, they just feel sympathy for the player. He was a excellent player and it it sucks that some fucktard would do such a thing. My prayers go to Sean Taylor and his family.. RIP.

I watched the game and that one pass interference was an iffy call imo. The guy had both hands on him running down field but he only tripped because both of their legs got caught up for some reason or other.

Aaron Rodgers was definitely a stud that game though. Favre was 5/14 w/ 2 picks when he went out so yeah, he sucked ass.
Either way, that was a pretty good game up until that questionable pass interference call.

Edit: poster below me needs to SHUT THE FUCK UP
Also, it was 142 penalty yards, not like 194.

Edit2: Green bay is not a legit team.

Packers vs cowboys was absolute bullshit. For those of you that didn't see it, first of all don't trash talk, you have no idea what your talking about-the nfl.com live or the highlights won't eve simulate what this game was like. Secondly, the score was 37-27 for those of you that were jipped by the nfl network. Thirdly (idfc if its not a word), the difference in the game was a 50 yard penalty that ill talk more about later. it ended in a touchdown, and the 3 points were after the point and had that penalty happened they wouldn't have been kicking there anyways. We had NO calls our way. the only penalties they had were false starts. First offensive play Al Harris rips the ball from t.o. and stays in bounds, and the ref thats RIGHT THERE CALLS IT A GREEN BAY FOOTBALL. then some mother fucking bastard from the middle of nowhere comes in and is like duh foward progress, that means you can take the ball from someones hands? wtfh. Would someone that pretends to be a football expert please explain this to me? I know there was a whistle but wtf he was in bounds and he could have broke the tackle. This is likesaying you can't hand the ball off@!@@@

the score at halftime was 10-27, we are already without Brett Favre who had throw two picks, however both were a result of being hit as he threw, so it really wasn't his fault, more so that our line is banged up. what else is new.

The first half was a disaster for Green Bay i won't lie to you. For whatever reason we are playing all zone....and our pass rush is horrible with no KBG, and our coverage by our 1st-2nd year rookies is HORRIBLE. Packers did establish a running game though agaisnt a stiff nosed dallas defense (lol).

4th quater-Again, prolly the same ref bastard..it's 24-27. Tromont Williams, Woodson should be in there but that's just life right. tangles his legs with miles austin. Phew i say its not pass interferance the reff that was 7 yards away signals that the legs were tangled. the fucking other ref comes in and waits about a mintue and throws the flag??!@?@!?@!? WTFH

Ok, you can call me a sore loser, bad sport, idiot, hardnosed fan...but one thing that NO ONE should say is that Green Bay is not a legit team, perhaps I'd go as far as saying on an EVEN (not this bullshitting known as reffing or injuries) playing field, the Packers are the better team. Seriously, you better fucking win in your house agaisnt the youngest football team when you get all the calls, when you have one injured player (correct me if im wrong im pretty sure that's what he said-and also im not talking about like practice squad bull) and when Favre, Woodson, Tauscher, Franks, Rouse, and KBG are ALL out. If I were to look at the injury list for this game i would have said yeah we should easily be blown out. Then i look at our penalty yards, like 194. ok, some of them were legit penalties but the one that mattered to most..just...was bullshit. It was the difference in the game. And not to mention you have Aaron Rodgers who barely ever plays and he still lit you up. The panthers did a better job of containing him! Overall, as i mentioned earlier I'd rather play in dallas for the ship. Which prolly will end up happening because the bears still suck. Also is it not a penalty to use props? in the last few games some jackass ALWAYS uses a prop agaisnt use and never gets flagged?? Larry johnson uses a flag and T.O. wastes some poor guys popcorn. Did chad no get flagged for the use of a camera? All i have to say is save it for superbowl sunday dallas, well..with our luck Favre will prolly be injured again.

I saw the whole thing on NFL Network, and Rodgers looked good, thats the only good thing the Packers did.

Oh and Favre got shut down, 5 of 14 for 56 yards???? Thats a 4 yard average and a 36% completion. OH and 2 INTS! Shut down I tell you.

True dat. I wanna see how badly they get shut down with their passing game out of comission.

What passer rating is that, does anyone know?

lol I just skipped GB Packers Fan's post entirely what a fanboy

I understand not everyone is sad, but I also do not understand how you can have sympathy or sadness (either one) for someone who is a total stranger. He only is getting this attention because he was in the NFL. Were he an average joe, how many that did not know him in real life would have any sympathy or sadness over it? Of course, the reason he was targeted may have been NFL stardom!

I won't even get into Harrington b/c I might cry in the process, RIP season.

A sad day for all Atlanta fans when we found out he was starting.
I thought there was going to be a glimmer of hope with Leftwich... ehhh.

I agree with most of what you said expect that Greenbay is the better team.. lol. I dunno what planet you are from but I think the end score was 37-27 in Dallas's favor. gg.
