They never made it past round 1 in their entire Jets/Coyotes history.
Actually in 86-87 they beat the Flames in the first round only to lose to the Oilers the next round. That makes it... 25 years. At least they've done it since the Leafs last won the cup.

No but they are the reason why they lost game 5. The BS penalty with 2:30something left, letting play continue when Corvo was clearly hurt which led directly to a goal, not calling Bergeron getting hit in the head twice causing him to leave the game...add in a lucky deflection off a Bruins stick, and HITTING THE POST TWICE IN THE FIRST PERIOD and its game over. The Bruins need to play better but game 5 was a terrible hockey game.
I don't know whether to be impressed by Washington's play, or Boston's lack thereof.
yeah because the refs never gave boston any breaks such as calling a penalty on that marchand dive which resulted in a boston goal. the refs were also responsible for thomas missing what should have been a really easy save. the refs are also responsible for holtby's stellar goaltending and boston's top 6's inability to score.
boston never got control of the puck when corvo was hurt so they shouldn't have blown the play dead. neither hit on bergeron should have been called. the slash really wasn't that bad of a call. I was surprised though that it got called since the refs usually swallow their whistles in the 3rd period, but really that penalty could have been avoided if whatever bruin that was didn't let that caps player steal the puck right off his stick in his own zone.

Was gonna respond to jrrrrrrr's saltyness but BlueCookies beat me to it. Corvo's injury wasn't serious. He played it up because he was dead tired and wanted a change.
Also, I was SCREAMING at my T.V. when they called that penalty on the Marchand dive. How does this joker not ever get called for diving? He's not even good at it.

BOS, NYR, PIT, NYJ, VAN, DET all losing in their series... if these results all hold I will have nobody to root for or against after only one round...
That's an obvious penalty whether the player falls down or not...he got hit in the face and he was the only offensive player in the zone so the refs were looking right at him. What are you two complaining about? At least be mad about something that really happened.
Yeah it should have been saved but it was still caused by a questionable-at-best penalty call.
What does this even mean? Who loses sleep over sports when they aren't betting money on it lol? Was that supposed to be a checkmate ending to your post? I'm disappointed in the Bruins play, because they were in a position to win that game despite horrible calls against them, but they are not playing as well as they should be. Does that answer your post? Actually I think it answers CaptKishimotos post...the Bruins are playing worse than the Caps are good.

i enjoy how consensus picks in the east were NYR, BOS, NJ and PIT in the east and all 4 teams are down 3-2.
i don't enjoy the potential borefest that will be the west if PHX and LA win... can you imagine a final four of STL vs LA and PHX vs NSH.
