My Team so far:

-Mudkip: must solo 1st or 3rd gym to evolve and to elvove again must solo 4th or 7th gym.Must never learn a move with 100Bp or more

-Makuhita "SumoKnot": It must solo Winona, and the entirety of her Gym. It may evolve after having done these things. When you get to Lilycove, dump it in your PC. You may retrieve it after reaching Sootopolis for the first time

-Lunastone "Troll Rock":
~Must hold Moon Stone to use moves above 80 BP. You can choose not to hold the Moon Stone, but you can't use moves above 80 BP
~Must solo all Solrock/Lunatone.

-Lotad "HERPDERP": may never know stab, and must always (if possible) use neutrally-effective or not-very-effective attacks. No evolution restrictions, but if you keep it as a Lombre after Wallace, it can learn STAB

-Geodude "The Hulk":
1) He must learn Hyper Beam asap and can never delete it.
2) He must learn Focus Punch asap and can never delete it.
3) He must learn Selfdestruct, then later Explosion.
4) Either Rollout OR Rock Blast.
Now, if you by some chance do evolve him, he gets lax and can never learn any attack with 70 or more BP and no STAB. Just in case. :D
No soloing restrictions, since he's a team player. However, he must the the one who KOs the last Pokemon from every E4 member and the champion. And he can never be the lowest Pokemon in your team.

No Slot left, sooo...give me something really crazy.
 
You get Dotsy the crazy Spinda. Since it is a Spinda and already sucks ass I impose only one restriction. It must know and keep Teeter Dance, as it is a very crazy Spinda.

take stunfisk call it Derpfish and it thinks its a lady/man killer so it must know attract and must use it whenever it enters a battle. if attract doesnt work it must use camouflage.

ha that's funny, my current game's stunfisk is actually called derpfish, but it's not a ladykiller
 
You get Supremacy the Petilil. This petilil thinks White is the best game and hates black. As such, it must solo all pokemon that are only found in Black, or have black as their color.
 
Alrighty, let's see... You get a Woobat, no set nickname. This Woobat thinks it's part of the Zubat evolution line and, as such, must always know at least one move that is Flying type, as well as learning and keeping Toxic and Air Slash as soon as possible. No evolution conditions.
 
Pwn gets a Lilipup named "Pwnage". To show off how awesome it is, it must solo the first two Gym Leaders. It must also solo 10 Trainers in a row to evolve to Herdier, and another 5 to evolve to Stoutland.

Smugleaf the Snivy. Because it's a freaking smug idiot, it trolls off it's smugness to everybody by soloing 50 Pokemon every evolutionary stage.
 
Ok...I want an increasingly difficult scramble.


  • Diamond Version
  • 1 poison- or ice-type (or both)
  • Meh I rejected all my starters since my Bayleef in Crystal, so you can take the starter out if you want.
  • No...Legendaries...
 
Gunko the Croagunk. He needs to solo Crasher Wake and the entire of Sunyshore Gym if it has Dry Skin, or he must solo every single Galactic member from then on if it has Anticipation.
 
Luxray, called Glit. Like her namesake, Glit is a doctor/medic, and hence may never actually attack to cause damage only. However, Glit is allowed to cross the lines to spread disease, so it may attack with moves that cause status (Thunder Wave, etc) or moves that have a chance of causing status (Thunder Fang's 30% paralysis chance for example). She is, however, not exactly the scariest thing ever, but does believe herself to be a valuable team member, so she must have Rivalry, and always be one of the 3 highest levelled Pokemon on your team.

Of course, there are some people who don't take her seriously, because she's a medic, and hence she must kill these people, soloing them outright. These people call themselves Team Galactic Grunts. Also solo Maylene because she's annoying.

*if you don't yet have access to a status move, use whatever. You must learn a status'ing move asap.

Okay so currently I have


  • Gunko the Croagunk. He needs to solo Crasher Wake and the entire of Sunyshore Gym if it has Dry Skin, or he must solo every single Galactic member from then on if it has Anticipation.
  • Luxray called Glit, who must have rivalry, can only use moves that cause status problems, and I have to solo maylene with this guy, it also has to have Rivalry
 
Hey Treadshot, are you ever going to do a challange or are you just going to torture the rest of us?

My team for Diamond:

  1. This Gyarados must learn Substitute, Dragon Dance and Flail as soon as possible and always keep them. Solo and E4 member of your choice. (Texas Cloverleaf)
  2. a Honchkrow named Garret and he must know thief. and for every battle he is involved in he must use thief first.(MigaMan)
  3. You get Moody the Bidoof. Moody thinks it is has its dream world ability, so it must learn Protect and Substitute before it evolves. It must then set up a substitute at the start of every battle protect every other turn in an attempt to get boosts. It must always have at least one Stat boosting move, so it can think Moody is working. (Bob Squab)
  4. take a mono-attack Luxray. Attack cannot be Spark, Thunder Fang, Crunch, or Return. Nickname it "Wut?" (Galladiator)
  5. take a Budew named Flower. It cannot evolve until it learns every level-up move, and keeps each for at least 1 level. Same restriction with Roselia. (auramaster)
  6. take a Turtwig, name it wig, must solo all water types and fire types you find, can only evolve once it has soloed an entire gym, and then your rival for evloving again. (Team Magma Boss Maxie)

Also, @Piemonade: Take whatever Pokémon you want, but it can only use Hidden Power in battle. (This is becoming my signature!)
 
Hahaha Moody the Bidoof is absolutely hilarious

Piemonade: You must obtain a Skull Fossil and revive a Cranidos. You must use the first Cranidos you are given. It must have 1 Psychic move, 1 Dark move, and AncientPower. If it is female it must learn Head Smash before evolving and it can never forget Head Smash. If it is male, its 4th move must be from a TM.
 
Lucky you, Piemonade! You get my ultra-random 800th post challenge!

It comes in two flavors, depending on whether you can trade.

If you cannot trade:

RNG a number from 1-145. This is the Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex you get for this challenge. (If it can still evolve further, it is permitted to do so. Ignore Pokemon that only evolve by trading.)

Then RNG three more numbers from 1-6 to get your full challenge.

Roll 1: Main Restriction

1: Must solo two Gym Leaders/E4 members
2: Must solo Cyrus at Spear Pillar (This takes precedence over other "solo team Galactic" challenges.)
3: Must always be the highest-levelled team member
4: May only know one damaging attack
5: Must never learn/use STAB
6: Must participate in at least five Super Contests

Roll 2: Evolution Restriction (Ignore this if your Pokemon cannot evolve.)

1: Solo Byron
2: Have moves of 4 different types (including status)
3: Solo rival three times
4: Avoid fainting for ten straight Trainer battles
5: KO 25 Trainer and 25 wild Pokemon
6: Win at least three Super Contests (overlap with Roll 1 restriction 6)

Roll 3: Nickname Restriction

1: Memphis
2: Over800
3: Glldtr
4: QWERTY
5: Tweet
6: RageFace

If you can trade:

Same challenge, except RNG for any non-legendary Pokemon in the National Dex. (I don't know how many there are, so you're on your own for this one.)

Holy crap...when I said increasingly difficult you guys weren't screwing around...so my final team is

  • Obama the Snover. This Snover wants to be President, so it must always be the leader of your party. It can evolve after you defeat Cyrus. It must open battles with Ingrain to make sure it is not voted out.
  • And Memphis, the Remoraid. He must always be the highest-levelled pokemon on my team. To evolve he must learn moves of all types (LUCKY ME).
 
I would like a scramble challenge please.

Game: Ruby
Difficulty: Normal-somewhat hard
Use of Starter: Yes
Trading: Yes (only from Leafgreen though)
Legendary: no
Slowpoke: A MUST HAVE ON MY TEAM

Also, if I find your challenge to be unreasonable I might reject it.
 
As a starter, you get Ninja the Treecko, who must have the following set:

- Agility/Quick Attack/Aerial Ace/Pursuit
- Leaf Blade/Fury Cutter
- Brick Break/Rock Smash
- Toxic

Also, it cannot evolve from Grovyle, and it must solo all Dark- and Flying-types (I'll let you make anything Gym- or E4-oriented an exception).

Have fun.
 
Take a Wingull, name it Losegull. This Wingull loses at everything, and must faint at least 20 times before it can evolve. Once it is a Pelipper, it gains confidence and learns how to fight better so it must solo one of Maxie's mons, two from two different Gym Leaders not named Liza+Tate, and three mons from three Pokemon League members.
