The current amount of bulk up users in comparison to total pokemon now is less than the amount of curse users in GSC. Point: Bulk up is less accessible. Besides, steel pokemon love Curse to power up Gyro Ball, and in Trick Room it helps as well.
Back in 2nd gen, Curse was able to be taught to ALL pokémon, unlike Bulk Up. It'd be awesome to have a Curse Azumarill with Aqua Jet, for example. Bulk Up isn't a replacement for a move that could easily be used to bump up some very bulky sweepers. :\
As well, Emerald didn't give us back Zap Cannon. However crappy a move it was, it was still a fun move to see in battles. Hilarious how Anabel's Espeon in the anime had Zap Cannon.

Bulk Up is limited to a fairly small group of Pokes. edit: lol jeez beaten...
As well as the ones mentioned above, I'd like to see a Crunch tutor. Oh, and an Air Slash tutor (they had some nerves giving us Air Cutter...).
Aside from the fact that only Mushroom-related Pokemon learn Spore...

sorry to burst everyone's bubble but i think that the move tutors will only have moves from 1st and 2nd gen (remember in FR and LG only 1st gen moves were tutorable iirc) although i really do want all new crazy move tutors. Cross fingers for espeed

I don't see us getting terrible tutors like that again... We got Draco Meteor in DP!

Holy fucking shit, I know they love to have CGs on pokémon trailers, but that cutscenes are EXACTLY like Gold/Silver's, I'm sure they'll be on the games.

Really? Since those have been the only remakes we have had, those are what we must base predictions from, or am I crazy?

My point is, our only reference point for remakes are FR/LG, therefore it is imperative that we predict from them.

Some info I've gleaned from that vid:
- G/S/C style trees, not the R/S/E/D/P/Pt berry system
- FMV clips of Ho-Oh and Lugia definitely seem to be the intro vids (this vid just further confirms this; was common perception anyway)
- Pokémon that's following you does the HM stuff
And there are also some additional cool stuff to see, like Tyranitar in the overworld and some pokéwalker stuff. Looks like it sadly gives pathetic exp but I guess it could be useful early on. Say you're struggling on the first gym, you can put the game down and take the dog out for a walk or something then be able to beat Falkner easily. Some more golden forest stuff too. Note how the trees get bigger the further out you go. Potential to be cool here: maybe there are some huuuge trees far out from Ecruteak.

Yes that was a big hitter for me, I personally don't want pokemon following me 24/7.

The games are $59.90!!! im just gonna wait till it comes out in the U.S. if the games were 49.90(Like most imported DS games) then i most likely would have got one of the games....

They're only expensive now because they are in big demand. 2 Months after its release it'll be back to $49 again.
And keep in mind, right now its $59, but with the 5.90 of shipping the game comes out to like 65 dollars.

It's £24.99 minimum in the UK if you can find the right retailers. I guess it's slightly more than that, like most things. The US gets most things at least cheaper, and most of the time an awful lot cheaper. Namely petrol, lego and food. Not sure about games.
