Still no confirmation of lati@s or mewtwo. Maybe We'll have to wait for an rse remake a long ways in the distant future for those.
Of course lapras and vappy will have no probs switchine in on even a 1000 power waterfall and ohkoing back(since its total offensive) with hp electric.
And Quagsire counters standard SpecsOgre. Best Pokemon ever, right?
Just so you know, Gyarados is in the OU tier, and you wrote UU. ;]Swift Swim Gyarados would be quite a boost to Rain Dance teams in UU. Intimidate definitely helps with its medicore physical defense when switching in, but the threat of Gyarados sporting incredible speed with 'double STAB' Waterfalls is crazy. Tyranitar, or Hippowdown trying to switch-in to stop the rain don't care for the prospect of Gyarados' Waterfall much.
Assuming Rain is in play, and it's a total offensive Life Orb Gyarados Dancing while forcing a switch:
Attack: 746 (with Life Orb.. and consider a 160 base power Waterfall after Rain and STAB)
Speed: 522
:naughty:
Well, you can get the NEP in-game by having the Pikachu-Colored Pichu. So as long as that one is able to be traded (it can, otherwise you couldn't even have it on your HG/SS game), you should be fine.I like Lugia's and Entei's new sprites. Entei looks so regal. Ho-oh is... Well, pretty much the same except it looks a bit better than DPP Ho-oh sprite.
Edit: Also, what a dick move to make the NEPichu untradeable. If that event unlocks anything useful ingame (or Celebi) I'm gonna be mad. >:(
Hmm... I could probably just download the wondercard...
Ho-oh sprite looks bad, in my opinion. Who else is loving the Pokegear and menu features?
The ability to have two key items is definitely appreciated. I was always a bit annoyed at having to switch between the Bike and the Super Rod when I went fishing, so I'm glad that won't be a problem anymore.Ho-oh sprite looks bad, in my opinion. Who else is loving the Pokegear and menu features?
Hmm, I don't really think much will be added (if there are going to be Move Tutors in HG/SS, perhaps one will be there, but not much else). I just think that they made it larger on the map to make it seem more like an actual lake, similar to how Mt. Silver is huge on the map, but you only ever go through a small part of it.Familiar Trainer said:Guys, did anybody else notice that the Lake of Rage appears to be the size of Goldenrod on the map? I realize it was big in G/S/C with the water/cut maze, but maybe something more will be added? Just like Kanto Safari zone maps were found in G/S's coding, there was also what appeared to be a different Lake of Rage (kinda similar to Pastoria, lots of water yet still a town, Gym and Pokemon Center included).
Frankly, I don't think Nintendo is that big on helping us competitive battlers out. It'd be cool to have good move tutors, but I don't really see any huge good coming out of their inclusion.
