The more HP an opponent has, the stronger the move is. If an opponent is at full HP, the move has 120 base power. If they're at half HP, it's 60 base power, etc.

You have to hack the "Oak's Letter" key item, but don't worry: this doesn't affect the Pokémon in any way.

by hack you mean use an ar?

There is no difference. According to Smogon's items page, type-specific items boost moves by 20%. Usually, there is a superior item choice, so they aren't used much. E.g, Scizor benefits more from Choice Band's power boost than it does from the surprise value of Iron Plate/Metal Coat.
Scizor's actually one of the few Pokemon that has a type booster listed for one of its sets, the Bulky Swords Dancer - it gets a nice power boost on Bullet Punch without suffering LO recoil that would defeat the point of the set.

You have to play on the suspect ladder. At the end of the test, the test manager(s) will post a list of Shoddy nicks that have met the requirement for voting. I think the requirements often seem to vary from test to test, but they're typically to do with ranking and activity.

How does Thief work? If I use Thief on a Pokemon with Focus Sash, what will happen? Will I steal the sash, or will it break? If I OHKO from 100% HP, will the Sash activate on the opponent's Pokemon and allow them to survive?

If you breed on Emerald and transfer that poke to Pokémon XD can it still learn the move listed under ''special attack'' on Serebii's Pokémon XD page?

I haven't found the section, but my guess is it's referring to special moves obtained by purification, which cannot be learnt by levelling up.
XD Tutor moves can of course be learnt.

It looks like a pretty decent team, but I'd definetly go with Rotom-H over Heatran as you already have enough revenge killers but lack a spin-blocker. You already have pretty decent counters to Latias and Infernape.

should i use the trick version?
i was going to do that because i would have one less exploder to get rid of walls

Well, assuming Metagross has Explosion, I don't think you should have too much trouble with Blissey or any other walls, especially with Mence too. So you can go either way.

Is Imprison and Baton Pass a viable combo?
I'm not sure if the effect can BE Baton Passed. If so, I guess it might work. The best use I can think of is if you Baton Pass to something which will have similar moves to what your opponent has out, rendering them mostly useless, forcing the switch. A set-up user would likely be the best recipient.

@Ramblin Wreck: Smeargle learns everything, don't forget him.

EDIT: http://www.smogon.com/dp/moves/baton_pass lists what is passed; Imprison is not mentioned. Tactic spoilt :-(

I have a question for EV training. Obviously magikarp are the easy choice for speed, gastly for special attack, and geodue for defense. But what would you recommend for attack, special defense, and hp. I know the fisherman/rich boy outside of sunnyshore are an easy option for attack but they level you up so fast. Does it matter how fast you level up when it comes to actually getting the EV's, i.e. I finish all my EV training by level 20 vs level 30, will I have higher stats at level 50 if I finish EVing sooner, or does it not matter?

It doesn't matter what level you finish EVing, ultimate stats at any level will be the same. It's only in Little Cup play (and to an extent Emerald Battle Frontier play) that you need to worry about getting the necessary EVs without gaining too many levels.

Alright thanks. Well anyone have any ideas on what would be a good pokemon to HP/Special Def EV train in D/P?
