Go look at the Shoddy server stats and the first 5 Pokemon on the satdnard ladder you should breed

(except for Scizor since there's 789423892473 on Wi-Fi)

LoL, it's too hard for people to think of a few pokemon. :P

Also, I wouldn't breed Scizor anyway. I hate that thing.

How about a Breloom. The common Spore Puncher and the Swords Dance set run the same EV spreads, so you could offer it in both movesets.

And it's unclear what you were asking for. Suggestions, or actual Pokemon to use as parents?

How is asking "What should I RNG Breed" hard to decipher? I'm breeding, and I know the RNG. Why would I need parents?

Yea, I could do Breloom, but I remember somebody (Kenshin?) breeding a Shiny flawless one and doing a GA with that, and I think it was redis as well.

I could -maybe- understand if I said this, and if it was in the WiFi forum:

Will somebody give me like 5-10 Pokemon to start RNG breeding please?
But it's understandable if you don't know (of) me. Either way, it would be stupid to start an argument over something like this, especially in THIS forum. :P

tl;dr
My bad for "difficult" wording.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but how does one do a Hack Check?
Like, with or without external tools? The simplest way to check without manually calculating and researching possible stats is to attempt to upload a battle recorder video of the Pokemon to WFC or attempt to transfer it to Pokemon Battle Revolution. Either of these tasks will fail if the Pokemon has an illegal EV spread, in my experience.

There are data checking Action Replay codes that can explicitly tell you the IV/EV spread on any of your Pokemon. I'm not sure what methods other people use.

I say do Jumpmans Lopunny, don't see many of those around, and I would really want one if you did it in a giveaway haha! Maybe a Lapras, or a Fortress, I'm personally a fan of Absol, and it's got good attack? I'm not really sure if these fit the criteria you wanted, but just some ideas.

And on a side note, question for anyone who can help me out. Moves like swords dance/dragon dance up your stats, when you switch the pokemon using them out of battle and then bring them back into battle later do the stat gains from swords dance/DD stay in effect, or is it back to "normal"?

Ahah, I'll leave Jumpman's Rabbit to Jumpman. I'd like to not cross paths with him if possible, as last time, it only led to problems.

Lapras sounds like a good one though! Good Rain Team partner for Doubles, as well (a superb Vaporeon switch-in!).

I'll put one in a Giveaway. I'll get you one for free, as well. What kind would you like, include a full set (Nature, IVs, Moveset, blah blah). Keep in mind I will be using this one as the GA also. :) Also, Shiny or no?

Well shoot, thanks a lot, I appreciate it! I'd like mine to have a impish nature, with water absorb, 31 IV's in HP, Def, Sp Def, and just something decent in Atk/Spd (25ish) Sp Atk doesn't matter. A moveset of Curse, Avalanche, substitute, and tickle. Shiny isn't necessary, doesn't matter to me. Thanks again!

I don't see what is so great about Close Combat. Why use the move, despite it's power, if you brings down your defenses? Is there not something better?

Why use a move that sets you up to be killed by something you cannot defeat in one shot?

Many Close Combat users are already frail, so they'd still drop like a sack of bricks with full defenses, so thre's no real difference.

Also, if you want a physical Fighting attack with no problematic side effects, there's Cross Chop and DynamicPunch, but their accuracy isn't too great. If you want accuracy and nothing happening to you then you're stuck with Brick Break which is pretty weak in comparison.

The moves I don't get are the ones that lower your attacking power, like Draco Meteor.

does anyone know what pokemon are on the suspect ladder?
and is there a suspect tier?

This past round, Manaphy and Latias were the suspects, and the test just ended a few days ago. Otherwise, its all OU. Suspect is considered more of a status, as before the testing Latias was considered OU, and Manaphy was considered Uber. Whether or not they stay there remains to be seen within the next two weeks or so.

ok thanks but i see a few people posting "suspect" rmt and they have garchomp in their team so i was just wondering if their was a tier like ou but with garchomp.

Lets take Lucario for example. You use Close Combat as your opponent switches in Gliscor. Whether or not you have any defensive drops, I hope to God you are going to switch out, unless you know for a fact that you are faster than said Gliscor and you have Ice Punch. What I'm trying to say is you would switch out anyways. In Lucario's case, it has Extreme Speed to hit opponents first before it gets hit with its weakened defenses. Infernape has crap defenses anyways.

For Draco Meteor, if you think of it in terms of that versus Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor has over 150% of the power that Dragon Pulse has. It can absolutely nuke things. And again, as in the case with Close Combat, if a counter switches in, I hope your switching yourself.

Nope. That just means it's for the suspect metagame. Even then, that term doesn't always mean the same thing, as different pokemon are suspect each round.

Overheat, Draco Meteor, Leaf Storm.. With STAB, they are all incredibly powerful. Even without STAB, they are still strong enough. It would simply be too "broken" if things like Latios, Salamence, Infernape, and whatever got to use a move with (140BP + (140/2) =) 210BP over and over again. They would OHKO way more Pokemon in succession then they would now, which would severely unbalance Pokemon.

The best 2 remedies to this problem are to use Mixed Sweepers with that as their only SpAtk using move, or to hold White Herb.

Well shoot, thanks a lot, I appreciate it! I'd like mine to have:

Lapras@Leftovers
Impish, UT
Water Absorb
31/31/31/31/31/31
- Curse
- Avalanche
- Substitute
- Tickle
Sorry, but as far as I could tell, there is no Breeding Chain that can give BOTH Tickle and Curse. Curse I can get from Torterra, or Tickle from Omastar. Which one would you rather have? I think Curse is the more viable option, IMO, but it's your call. Of course, if I am wrong, please post a chain that will provide both of these moves. :)

Also, expect this later in the week, possibly the weekend. Just remind me when I hold the Giveaway.
