Maybe not ever....but....

lol. The police do something and the grunts aren't completely incompetent, and steal something besides Wurmple, Silcoon and Cascoon.

THE BOSS USES ARCEUS

Anyways, I do not expect Zoroark to be in the alleys. Unless you bring him there.

Agreed. Sorry to all you Dusknoir lovers out there, but that guy was just about the most unnecessary evolution ever. Meanwhile, cool Pokes like Dunsparce, Corsola, Farfetch'd, and Stantler are completely forgotten. Come on Nintendo, getcha head in the game!

...What do you mean by that? Dusknoir WAS an improvement over Dusclops, yes? Then why is it scraping low OU if it was uneeded?

I love pointing these out.

(BTW, Stantler is already a criminally underestimated Status inducer. It doesn't need the evolution THAT much, it's got the stuff there...)

Dusclops was OU in Generation III, when the metagame wasn't so centered around speed and it had good STAB with Shadow Ball. The main reason Dusknoir is used infrequently now is that Pursuit has become a physical move, so things like Tyranitar, Weavile and Heracross (especially Heracross, who loves the Guts boost from Will-o-Wisp) can switch in and do tons of damage to it. Rotom-A also outclasses Dusknoir in a lot of roles, from spin blocker to Gyarados counter.

Try using Dusclops on Shoddy in place of Dusknoir. You probably won't notice a big difference. It won't take hits quite as well, and it won't be able to do as much damage, but it still has Pain Split and WOW. Doesn't really matter, since you're complete Pursuit bait anyway. Now try using Marshtomp in place of Swampert, and see if you notice the same thing. See what I mean?

It just always seemed odd to me that such an already competent Pokemon as Dusclops would get an evo (especially when Banette, it's counterpart, didn't). But feel free to keep "pointing out" these things to me. I like arguments.

I actually agree with you about Stantler. I didn't mean to imply he was as useless as Farfetch'd or Corsola. I just feel he needs a bit more...OOMPH.

I think it's been established by now that Farfetch'd desperately needs an evo. Smeargle definitely does not, it's already comfortably OU and even used a little in Ubers.
As a passer, yes. Sure the passer sets would still be used, but it'd be nice if Smeargle, could, like, actually use an attack against anything. Kind of takes away from it's gimmick.

I don't think Smeargle needs an evo. Spore is annoying enough.

Farfetch'd is like a rotten chocolate, it look tasty at first but when you bite its just horrible.

lol. How do you know what rotten chocolate tastes like when you take a bite?

anyone else besides me would love a very small amount of unique pokemons with 3 types?
A Pokemon with all 17 types (including ???) at the same time. Arceus was almost there. It would make Stone Edge and Rock Slide (maybe even Power Gem and Ancient Power) even more popular.

i am talking about a poke with 3 types dude, not a poke with 17 types at different times. some shit like fighting/stee/flying you know?

Dragon/Water/Steel. Resitance to Ice and SR and nuetrality to Dragon. Weaknesses to Fighting and Ground but those could be worked around (Levitate and/or STAB Surf).

Edit: I think it would be too much of a hassle to allow a few Pokemon to have three types. Gamefreak would have to change the mechanics of the game just for those Pokemon. Two types is fine.

@ Proboscidea: Yeah, I guess you're right, although, the STAB Water would certainly help offensively since Dragon and Water works so well together.

The problem with that is if they made a rare few 3-typed pokemanz, they would probably feel the need to either give them shitty type combos or make them with awesome types but shitty stats/abilities.

and that is why i said only a few amount of pokemons, 4 or 5 at best, they could do something specific like being event pokes or some storyline shit.

I always liked the idea of a three-type 'mon, I thought the Zubat line is more like a Dark type, not Poison, and originally thought it had three types anyways

Hixx....

No 3-type PKM T^T

They are just too .... well, diffiicult to new ones =.=

3 types mean 3 STAB, and a lot of matches-up we must think of =.=

I want more Pokemon which can be obtained without trading :D

I think we should keep the trading. I mean its bad if you've got no friends who like Pokemon (or no friends at all for that matter), but a lot of people do especially Nintendo's target audience. Feels good man when you have a Scizor and Slowking on your HG team...

On the subject of pre-existing pokemon getting evolutions, all I can say is... why? I personally hate when pokemon from old generations get new evolutions tacked on in another generation. Usually they don't look much like their previous evolution/s and most of the time it's completely unnessecary. Rhyperior is just... I can't even. Take a cool looking pokemon in Rydon, make it fatter, add a new color that was never present in any of it's evo's, increase its all ready largest stats and we have Rhyperior.

.... Just no.

I've seen people talk about Pinsir getting a "much needed" evo, but all it really needs is a move like Dragon Dance, if frickin' Whiscash can get it, so can Pinsir. Or make a new move called something else more applicable but still does the same thing.

i think rypherior is prettty cool and solid rock is just great for something with a crappy typing like ground/rock, all i can say is that rhydon needed this for gen 4 because if rypherior is UU then imagine what would have happened to rhydon?

Water/Flying/Ground completely broken lol. Especially if it was anything like Gyarados. Only weak to grass and ice with two brilliant STABs... not good. 3 type pokémon are never going to happen. Dragon/Steel/Flying is even worse. I don't think that has any weaknesses but it only has one good STAB.

Anyway I noticed in that screenshot of the cave, it's all blue-tinted and the small rocks are levitating. And there are weird blue wave things around that are either cracks in the ground or given the pixellation they look to be some kind of weather effect. Some kind of magnetic cave?
