I think the rationale is that since every fourth EV at level 100 is equal to one bonus point in defense, 252 points in Defense raises a Blissey's defense by a higher PERCENT than 252 points in Special Defense.I think it's a bad idea in general to maximize Defense on Blissey, it's redundant. If you want a physically bulky Pokémon, use one with a base Defense higher than 10, save Blissey for being specially bulky, leave physical Defense to something else. That's my opinion at least
I say go for it. It might just be a few percent, but you never know; it could be that few percent that lets your pokemon hang in there by the skin of its teeth.I am just getting into competitive battling and and currently working on breeding my team and am wondering how importing ivs are. I know your team and how well you play is the most important factor in deciding a match, but I have a gengar with 4def/8spDef ivs(max spAtk/spe iv) and am wondering if I should breed one with higher defensive stats.
I've wondered this as well. My guess would be that the game considers them to be simultaneous, as otherwise it's gonna screw one of the players over by completely random chance.Let's just say that both the opponent and the defendant decide to switch out their Pokemon on the same turn. Who will switch out first?
I know you may think it doesn't matter, but I was wondering if I were to switch first and switch in my Wobbuffet, will the opponent be trapped.
Care to give it a shot? I also have a Wobbuffet, so we would be able to test this thing out.
